How do i transfer all of oracle xe into a different pc

how do i transfer all of oracle xe into a different pc. Do i need to reinstall oracle xe ? if i re-install how do i locate the tables that i have created and transfer them?

reinstall oracle xe ?Yes, the installer sets up the registry and services for the database on the host. In Windows, if the services aren't set up the database won't run.
locate the tables that i have createdIn your source database, find all the datafiles and ancillary files, in sqlplus:
select name from v$datafile;
select name from v$controlfile;
select name from v$tempfile;
select member from v$logfile;
create pfile='c:\temp\initXE_bkup.ora' from spfile;Shutdown the source database, grab up all those files, and the spfile. Shut down the new database, copy those files in.
If the new host gets XE installed to a different drive the filenames will have to be updated before the database is opened.
