How do I transfer Candy Crush at same level from husband's Mini to my Air?

I have been playing Candy Crush Saga on my husband's iPad mini and reached level 167. I do not play it via Facebook. I now have my own iPad Air, how do I transfer the CC app at the same level.I synced the iPads and dragged the icon over, but when I opened it on the Air, it was at the beginning.

Yes! I've found out how to do this! I'd transferred progress from iPhone to iPad by accident, then lost it again through syncing, but I pondered on the issue and I've done it!!! Here is how:-
Turn on computer, then iTunes.
Plug in iPhone with USB cable.
Click on iPhone in My Devices
Find the bit in Summary about Back up Manually. Lower RHS.
CLICK ON Back up this iPhone to computer, and let it run it's course.
Connect iPad to computer with lightening cable.
Click on iPad in My Devices.
Go to Summary part of iTunes as before, but this time click on Restore manually.
IMPORTANT BIT!
In the box showing Restore From, scroll through to find your iPhone, don't restore from the same device.
So the Candy Crush which is on iPhone will be copied onto your iPad.
It works!
Now I just need to find out why iPhoto is multiplying my photos between devices, I think it's PhotoStream that is doing it.

  • Any suggestions on how you can transfer photos (including location description etc) from iphoto's on a Mac air book to a Mac?

Any suggestions on how you can transfer photos (including location description etc) from iphoto's on a Mac air book to a Mac? Whenever I export the pictures the additional information is lost

    Two ways:
    1. File -> Export. Set the Kind to Jpeg or Tiff
Check the boxes at 'Location Information' and 'Titles and Keyword'
The information is written to the iptc and Exif metadata on the file.
    2. Use iPhoto Library Manager This will get all of the information plus faces and edit history

  • How do I transfer files on the same iMac from one user to another?

I recently transferred files from my Macbook Pro to my iMac.  Now I have two user profiles on my iMac.  How do I transfer files from one user to the other user on the same iMac?

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, provide /Users/Shared/ as the path, drag them there, and then to the desired location.

  • How do I transfer Microsoft Outlook Contact 2010 files from my PC to my MacBook Air iOS operating system?

While attempting to eliminate duplicate entries on my MacBook Air Contacts file I somehow, instead, rolled all 962 contacts into a SINGLE contact!  I figured the easiest way to solve the issue was to send a copy of my Microsof Outlook 2010 contacts to one of my personal email addresses.  Not so luckly.  I have tried to save the files to be transferred in CSV format, Tab-separated, and Excel...all to no avail.  My Mac keeps telling me I have transferred the files in a non-readable file format.

From Contacts help (click to expand):
If Outlook is capabile of producing vcard files, Contacts can import those as well.

How can I transfer my iTunes library and playlists from one computer to another?

Copy the iTunes folder (Mac: Home\Music or PC: My Music) to the same location on the new computer. If an iTunes folder already exists on the new computer (it will on a Mac) replace it with one you copied.

  • How can I transfer or release one of OSX from my Apple ID?

    Hi all,
I had a MacBook Air with 10.7.x pre-installed. When I open it, I registered it to my account.
Then I bought a new version of MacBook Air and forward my old one to my colleague. For sure I registered the new one's to my Apple ID too. A year later I upgraded it to 10.8 too.
Now my colleague has some issue and he needs to format and reinstall MacOSX of old version like pre-installed one. But installation does not continue with his Apple Id (for sure). There is no choice for me to release it or re-register...
Question is this : How can I transfer or release one of OSX from my Apple ID and my colleague can registered it on his name?
I seems I have 2x OSX. I can continue to give my ID and install again. But I don't want. (I checked community but issue is not exactly the same, therefore I opened this again)
    Any advice?
    Thanks,
    Cenk

When you sell a machine with Lion or Mountain Lion preinstalled, you need to use Internet Recovery before selling it:
Hold Command + Option + R keys while booting up or restarting and, once connected to Apple's servers, go to Disk Utility and erase the drive. The servers will then automatically reinstall the original system version. That install then will not be associated with your Apple ID and the buyer will be able to reinstall if necessary. You should have also unregistered your machine on Apple's website.

Sign in, choose the Mac to delete and then click on unregister.

Do you have your system backed up to Time Machine? If so, you can open your user Library and copy your Mail folder from Time Machine to your Desktop on your new machine; then copy THAT folder to your new machine's user Library.
To get to your user Library, open Finder and Go and press the Option key. Library will show up. Click on it to get into your user Library. Now go into Time Machine and you should see your user Library for Time Machine. Restore the Mail folder to your Desktop.

The simple answer is just connect the external hard drive and drag the files from there to wherever you want them to go. If you need to do something more specific, you'll have to provide more details.

This is one of the most basic of functions of the iPhone.  This is a good time for you to read the User Guide.  All the instructions on how to operate yor phone are included.  I suggest you read through it.

I transferred data from my Macbook Pro to my Mac mini but it forced me to make a new user for my old data.  How do I transfer my music, pics, and docs from the "old" user to the new user (so that I only have one user instead of 2?)

Unless you transfer the files from Setup Assistant, Migration Assistant creates a new user with the data.
To transfer the files to your first user, you have to log on this new user, and copy all your files to /Users/Shard folder. This is a folder where you can put the files you want to share between two or more users, and all users can read and write in it.
After copying the files, go to your first user, open /Users/Shared folder, and copy the files to your user folders. If you migrated applications, you must know that they are stored in a common folder (/Applications), so you don't have to transfer them. To open /Users/Shared folder, open Go menu (in the menu bar) > Go to Folder, and type the folder

How do I transfer my photo's to lightroom from my iPhone?

Welcome to the Apple community Brooke31.
Turn on photo stream on both devices, settings > iCloud on the phone, system preferences > iCloud on the Mac.
Photostream when enabled will only add photos from the camera roll that were taken post photostream activation. (Photostream does not currently share video)
You should connect your device to your computer with a USB cable and import any photos taken pre-activation manually.
