How do I transfer desktop Sticky note to a Mailbox?

How do I transfer desktop Sticky note to a Mailbox?  Dragging doesn't work.
I'd also like to know how to do a similar move between Finder and the Desktop.
Thanks!

The only practical way I can think of to transfer a note from Stickies to a mailbox would be to copy it, paste it into a new mail message, and mail it to yourself and then file that message in the desired mailbox.
I'm not sure what you mean when you say a "similar move between Finder and the Desktop". The Desktop is just a folder within Finder, and to move a file from one folder to another you just drag it. So you may need to elaborate on what it is you wish to accomplish here.

Look inside your Applications folder. You should find Stickies in there.
Once you have Stickies running, go to File->New Note or hit Command-N.

  • How do I keep the sticky notes from shifting their placement as soon as I select File, Print?

Working with Acrobat Pro 9 and Windows 2007, I frequently use sticky notes to approve multi-page invoices scanned by another location.  On the screen they appear where I put them - but as soon as I click File, Print with the printer "Adobe PDF" and "documents and markups" selected, the ntoes all shift to a static location on each page that overlays the invoice detail.  I've tried multiple settings and defaults to no
avail.  Any help is much appreciated.

Either don't rename upon export, or use the (original filename or) image number in the renaming template:
(see 'File Naming' section of export dialog box)

  • How do I search for sticky notes in a PDF doc?

Several people (at work) have commented on a 440-page document that I created, using sticky notes to write their comments in. When I first open the document, the sticky notes are all closed. The icon for a closed sticky note is pretty small and not brightly colored, so they're easy to miss when scrolling through hundreds of image-heavy pages. I am hoping that it's possible to search for each occurrence of a sticky note.
If there is no way to search for the notes, is there a command I can use to open all the notes in the file (in one action) so that they are larger and easier to spot?
    Platform: Windows 8 PC
    Version: Acrobat 8
If this is not a feature available in Acrobat 8, is it possible to do this in later versions?
Apologies if this is not the right community for this question, but none of the ones listed seemed like the obvious choice, and there is no "miscellaneous" or "general" category. If there is a better community for the question, please let me know.
    Thanks,

Out the gate you've a problem.
The Acrobat 8 product family passed into "End of Support" many years ago (well before the release of Windows 8).
"End of Support" means -- well, just that eh.
The Acrobat 8 product family is not compatible with Windows 8.1, 8 or 7.
The Acrobat XI product family is compatible with Windows 8 / 8.1.
Regarding Comment and Mark Up Annotations:
With Acrobat 8 Pro use the "Comments List".
Same wit Acrobat 9 Pro, X Pro and XI Pro.
May be available with the various versions' "Standard" release.
The contents of a Comments List can be exported to a PDF report.
The filter an be used to display specific characteristics / attributes which then become the reports content when you output a report.
Having "8" the Help PDF file got loaded with the install of "8".
Use it to review the information provided on the Comments List.

If it is not possible, is there any other way to transfer my Outlook notes from my PC to my new MacBookPro?

The cloud doesn't do website hosting. You need to publish your site via the iWeb FTP or to a local folder and upload to a hosting account...

I've recently bought a new Macbook Pro and in my Itunes Library everything I have purchased from Itunes is in my new Itunes Library.
However I want to transfer all my music (not purchased from itunes) from my Ipad/Iphone to my new Itunes Library.... and I have absoutely no idea how to do this? Also I'm scared to press sync when my ipad is plugged into my Mac incase will loose all this music!

The iphone/ipad/ipod is not a backup/storage device.  The sync is one way - computer to iphone/ipad/ipod.
Copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.

  • Good afternoon all, I use my iPad 2 calendar like a diary and it is perfict as I travel globaly for work, how do I transfer the calendar notes and events out to use in reports etc?

    Good afternoon all
I travel globaly for my work and use the iPad calendar as my diary and it is perfect as it has the times things are done how long was spent on each thing and notes regarding contents and outcomes of meetings.
The down side is I cant just send this information to myself to cut and paste into reports etc. I have to read off my iPad and retype it into my report document.
Is there a way arround this without changing to a diferent program as the calender is great apart form that.

Why can you not copy from calendar and paste into report? Is the
report being done on the iPad? If yes, what is the problem with cut
and paste? If no, can you sync the calendar to the same computer/device
as the report and then cut and paste there?
    What am I missing?

  • How can I transfer AK Notepad notes from "Charge"  into S Memo in "S4"

New phone activation in store transferred photos, videos, contact list, many apps but not the many notes I had made to myself using the built-in]
AK Notepad.  S Memo on my S4 is totally empty.  Any way to do this transfer or a way to save onto my PC my notes, print them out, etc.

I loved AK Notepad; unfortunately, that app ceased to exist/be supported as of the end of August 2013.  If you still have the app on your old phone, you should be able to export the files and print them.

  • How can I transfer all the notes entries on my iPhone to notes in iCloud?

I Have a load of notes on my iPhone 4s and when I checked they were not duplicated in my iCloud account. Strangely all of my contacts and calendar ARE there.
IS there any way to copy this data into the cloud?

If they aren't in iCloud, they probably are not stored in the iCloud account.  Open the Notes app and tap Accounts.  Tap each of your accounts to see which one your notes belong to.  If they don't belong to the iCloud account, you'll have to open each one and copy/paste the text into new notes created in the iCloud account to get them in iCloud.  (I know this can be tedious, but there's no other way to do it.)

  • How do I transfer my whole iPhone 4 Camera Roll to Win7 run PC?

How do I transfer the whole (not just the new photos, but the whole) of my camera roll on my iPhone 4 (using the latest software) to my (Win7) PC? I've done this before by simply going Computer > Josh's iPhone > Internal Storage > DCIM. Then at will I'd select and distribute my photos. However within the DCIM folder there are nine folders all with names such as 823WGTMA, 842GGLUF and 965YOKDJ.
Initially I thought it'd be a bit of hasstle having to go into each individual folder, selecting the photos, then copying them; but still do-able! Unfortunately upon trying to copy all the photos in the nine different folders to one folder (named Full Camera Roll) an error message came up saying Two Files Have The Same Name, or something to that effect, with only two options, Copy and Replace, or Don't Copy at all. No sign of Copy and keep Both. Now if it were just a few photos I would normally just edit each name manually, but I'm talking about moving several thousand photos!
In short, is there any way of transferring the whole camera roll without renaming each individual photo, and without gong to several different folders to get at them? If you did take the time to read this, thank you, and thank you if you take the time to offer any help!

I think you have dup names because the OS has started recycling the names.  There is a limit to how far it can go before that happens.  Take a look at the first and last folders on your phone and see if the numbers begin again.  If that's the case, you can copy the contents of all the folders except one of the ones containing the dupes to a single folder on your PC, but then you will have to copy any files with dup names into a different folder and rename them there before copying into your new single folder.  Here are instructions for doing that on Win 7:

  • How do I transfer Apps from iPhone4 to iPhone5. They show as being downloaded on iTunes.

How do I transfer all of my apps from my iPhone4 to iPhone5? I thought I had done that, but they are not showing on the new phone. When I go back into iTunes and look at my purchased items they all show downloaded. How can I get these on the new phone? Also, how do I transfer information from Notes, Calendar, etc., to the new phone?
    Thanks

Perhaps if you can buy your applications again or if you use iCloud, if the cloud software use applications to transfer. Oh wait, they do!

  • Printing Comments (Sticky Notes) in Adobe Reader 9

    Hi,
I know this question has been asked several times before, but I haven't seen any resolution to this problem. Does anyone know if Adobe is working on a patch/ fix for this problem?
In any case, my question is this: how do I print comments (sticky notes) using Adobe Reader 9. The following are the responses I have already tried and that have not worked:
    1. Select "Document and Markups" in the print menu. I have already tried this. It makes no difference. The document still prints without the comments.
    2. Go to Edit > Preferences and choose the "Commenting" tab. There is no "Commenting" tab in Reader 9. You are probably thinking of Acrobat 9.
    3. Edit the registry key. Too risky, and since we are working on the client's machine, this is not really an option.
Any other ideas? Thanks in advance!

    Alas,
"Commenting" is not an available category in Adobe Reader's Preferences.

  • Printing Sticky notes content

How do I get my sticky notes content to print? I am already using the "SUmmarize COntent button. I have Windows 7 and a Lexmark Pro200 Series printer.  I am using  Adobe Reader 11.0.02. To clarify: they print on the page but overlapping each other and obscuring the text. OR they print as a separate page.  Are these the options, or am I doing something wrong? Am I limited to one sticky per page? If so, where should I place it?

So the only way to print sticky notes in 9.0 is a manual registry change below.
For Reader 8 and later you may need to add the key manually.
    Add the following Reg key:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\[acrobat version]\Annots\cPrefs]
    "bprintCommentPopups"=dword:00000001
Which I did and it worked but where is the preference check under commenting for sticky notes in versin 9.0?
If it was just my computer not having the category, commenting I would think it was a bad install but none of the computers in our office have that choice either. I hate to think I have to make a registry changes on each computer to print Sticky notes.
I do appreciate the registry work around though!
