How can I transfer music from nano to a new computer. Old computer is gone.
How can I transfer music from nano to a new computer? Old computer is gone.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use your backup copy to put everything on the new computer.
If for some reason you have failed to backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from your ipod. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases -

How do I transfer music from iPad to macbook?
I've previously had all music etc on a PC with iPad, iPhone synced to that. I want to transfer music from my iPad (as it's got all the CDs I laboriously added to my PC!) to my new macbook but can't find how to? I did try to transfer directly from PC to macbook using migratoin assistant but it dropped wifi constantly so gave up..
You can copy iTunes purchased music from a device via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. For music from other sources (e.g. copied from CDs) you will need a third-party program on your Mac to copy them back from a device - there are some listed half-way down this page : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
There are also other methods of copying music between computers : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527
If you will be syncing the iPad and iPhone to your Mac then you may also find this page for syncing to a new computer useful : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141 -

How do I transfer a game from ipad 1 to a newer ipad without losing my points or paid for add ons?
Backup your old iPad, then when you set up the new one, restore it from the backup of your old one. THat should make your new one a near clone of the old one. When I set up my new iPod I restored it from the backup of my old one and kept my Angry Birds progress.

How do I transfer music from my iphone to new imac
I've just bought an imac and which is empty of itunes and would like to transfer the music from my iphone to the imac. Can anyone help please?
If you don't still have your PC (copying content between computers) or your content on a backup that you can copy the music from then you will need to get a third-party program for your computer to copy it off your iPad - iTunes will only copy iTunes purchases.
Recovering content from a device : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991 - it lists some programs which are capable of copying music from a device

How do I transfer music from Ipod to a new computer
from my old computer I put the music in to my Ipod, but when I tried to transfer the music from the Ipod in to my new computer everything was erased, can someone tell me how I do that.
Thanks
Edwinftjust happened to me last week... you clicked Yes, right? unless you've backed up your music (or held onto your old computer), you're kinda screwed. If you HAVE done either of these, open it back up, save EVERYTHING to a new playlist, and send it to your AppleID... I found this out too late, and I just spent the last 6 days re-importing every single CD I own.....
Good luck - I know it's devastating, I feel your pain! -
