I want to import some of my iTunes files to my mother's iTunes account so she doesn't have to pay again to get them. We are going on a trip soon, and she wanted some movies to watch on here iPad. Some of the movies, I already have. I can't seem to do anything. Homesharing has been useless, because while her iTunes can 'see' my iTunes and vice versa, the magic "Show" and more importantly the magic "Import" buttons are nowhere to be seen. How in the **** am I supposed to share my files if I can't import them to her library for her? Will iTunes allow me to do this? I'm not really all that familiar with Windows computers. I have recently had to move to a PC because my $3000 macBook Pro died one month after the warranty was up. How could I get iTunes to accept media from another computer?

Music is designed to sync in one way only, and that is from iTunes to the phone. There is the expectation that you would backup the computer to save this data. There are 3rd party solutions to try and recover music from the phone to put back into a blank iTunes library.

If you are trying to drag a song over, do you have Manually Manage Music checked in iTunes? You need to check your iTunes settings before trying to put music on it. It may be that you have it set to sync. Check the Summary page of iTunes after you have selected the iPhone in iTunes.

My ipod (version 6.1.3) was connectiong to my home wi-fi just fine until I uploaded new music from my itunes via my laptop. Now my ipod and my iphone will not connect to my wireless network. I've uplugged my wireless network and reset my network settings etc... nothing seems to work. Please help!

Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I have a problem with my itunes. I cannot transfer apps from the itunes to my iphone 4s. Any time I try to snyc itunes tells me "The iphone could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iphone. To authorize this computer for items purchased from the itunes store, choose, Store > Authorize This Computer. But anytime I authorize it tells me you have authorized including this computer 2 out 5 computers. And if I try again the same story over and over again. But I have many apps on my itunes which I want to transfer. Please someone help me.

Do you have music in iTunes?
If you have, you do the same like syncing apps.
iPhone connected and selected in iTunes, click the Music tab (at the top), check Sync Music and the songs you want on the iPhone. When satisfied, click Sync (bottom right) -

This is a simple task - there should be a simple method for the system to recognize SD cards.

It ejects or unmounts the card. When the SD card mounts click on it once to highlight it and then drag the files shown within it to the new folder.

I have bought itunes songs on an ipad with my daughter apple id. i would like to back them up on the same computer I sync my iphone with using my apple id but they will not transfer. Both iphone and ipad have only been synced on the computer mentioned since they were purchased. Is there any way to get the ipad music transferred to the computer?
And they were definitely purchased from the iTunes store, they show on the account's purchase history (Store > View Account on a computer's iTunes, or you can view the last 90 days purchases via http://reportaproblem.apple.com) ?
You could potentially log into the account on that computer's iTunes (Store > Sign Out to log out of your account, that will then change to a Store > Sign In option) and redownload them by clicking on the id towards the top right of the iTunes screen and Purchased on the popup :
But that will potentially tie that computer to that account for 90 days : Manage your associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support
Or do you have a different computer that you could redownload them on and then copy them over to that computer via a flash drive or memory card, and then add them to its iTunes via File > Add To Library ? -
