How do I transfer my ipod songs taken from CD's to a new iTunes library?

My laptop needed to be restored back to store purchase and m y iTune's library was erased. When I downloaded the iTunes and synced my ipod, it only added the purchased iTunes songs to my iTunes library. How do I sync the songs on my ipod that were transferred there from CD's?

If the entire iTunes folder was copied from the old computer to the new computer, then it simply works.
You can also try unsubscribing from the podcast and then re-subscribing.
There is no option to transfer media from an iDevice to a computer.

They Copy them onto your other laptop
just make sure you put the files into a file on the new computer
Then open iTunes and copy files into library

The first library has all of my stored data. How do I transfer this data to my new itunes library? . I cannot use the cloud as my data plan has a limited band width cap ( I live in rural Alberta , northern).My library may be on my tera drive, but then how do i delete this library once I transfer the files, that is if i am able to locate them ? this is a question for all itunes lovers, I love it when i know how to use it, so far not computer literate to loving it! thanks so very much for considering this problem.

and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

First here's the situation. I've got iTunes 7.71 on my MacBook Pro and I've got a huge music library (approx 256 GB) that I keep on an external firewire drive. (In case it matters, the overwhelming majority of stuff in the library consists of MP3 rips from my CD collection-- very little is from the iTunes store).
I also have a 60 GB color display iPod that I use to listen to tunes when I'm at the gym, on planes, etc. Since my whole iTunes library does NOT fit on that, I don't try to synch my whole library to the iPod, but just a few selected playlists (which I keep in a playlist folder called "iPod playlists"), which total about 50 GB of songs.
OK, got that? Now: here's the challenge:
I just started work at a new job and I would really like to be able to transfer the iPod part of my library to the (Windows) machine I have there... the songs/playlists, etc. (I don't want/need all 256 GB of my library there... and in fact, I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be enough room on the machine for it. Also, I don't want to just plug in my iPod or an iPod dock and play from that, as I really like all the additional sorting functionality that iTunes offers, and frankly, I just know I'd leave my iPod at work half the time and be kicking myself for it at the gym..)
So: How do I do this? I searched around among the support documents and found very detailed instructions on how one can use an iPod to transfer a WHOLE library from one computer to another (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1329). But that's not what I want to do here-- and the size of my main library precludes it. I just want to transfer the part of my library that I put on my iPod to my work machine.
There ought to be an easy way to do this, I think-- but I can't seem to find it. Can anyone out there please point me to info on how this can be done? Or just tell me? Thanks!

You can restore the new iPad from a backup. You can also sync to transfer all apps, media, photos from your iTunes library to the new iPad.

If you don't have access to iTunes, you can use the following steps to completely erase your device:
Tap Settings.
Tap General.
Tap Reset.
Tap Erase All Content and Settings.

Ok so I downloaded it but when I try to open it says that it can't open because microsoft windows is not supported by OS. Obviously it downloaded the windows version and not the mac right? When I go into my adobe account it doesn't give me any option to download a different version. This is what shows up:

Ive had an iPad for a year or so, it's got tons of music on it. I recently got myself an iPhone. I read on here about how to set up a completely separate library using my same account (as my iphone couldn't possibly hold the same amount as my pad I thought it made sense!). Trouble is....as I set up a new library it asked me to name it, which I did. The trouble is now, every time I log in to iTunes it logs into the new library which is completely blank. Okay, try launching iTunes while holding down the shift key (again) but this time, click "Choose library". Browse to the location of the old library file. The default locations of the library file are inside the iTunes folder described in the following table:

My computer recently broke and will not turn on. This was the computer that had allll my iTunes and whatnot on it. We now have this laptop, which i would like to be where i put my iTunes now. My question is; If i simply download iTunes on this computer, and plug in my iPod touch (the older one-not the new one), will everything that is on my iPod now sync over to this laptop? You need to use your backup copy of your computer to move everything to the new one.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup of your computer ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from the ipod: Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
If you sync contacts/calendars to a blank computer, then those will be erased as well.
If you have failed to backup you computer, then you can enter one uniques contact and calendar entry on your computer and you should get the option to merge.
it is very important to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.

iOS: Transferring information from your current iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device
Otherwise you will have to sync the new iPod's calendar and contacts to ones that have the old iPod's calendars and contacts.

How do i create an ipod/iphone version of my videos in the new itunes?

In the new version of iTunes, there is no "advanced" drop-down menu, where i can click "create ipod/iphone version" to convert the selected video into a format compatibe with my 4th gen. ipod touch. The videos are already in a mp4 format, but won't sync > itunes just says they're not compatible my ipod. I have also noticed that all the videos added to my library after the update, are being copied to "Home Videos" and the usual file location.

Select the video. Then:
File menu -> Create New Version -> Create iPod or iPhone Version
