How do I transfer my iTunes from an old account to a new one?
I had an old computer (PC) that had an old iTunes account linked to it and now would like to transfer, rather merge my old purchases with my newer iTunes account which is managed by my current MAC... any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!
You cannot transfer purchases to a different account. Purchases are always tied to the account from which they were purchased.
Why would you start a new account?

Backing up the old iPhone with iTunes and restoring to the new one is a good solution. However, if you have difficulties in doing so, you can transfer the data from the old iPhone to the new one directly with the help of iPhone PC Suite or MobileTrans.

AAll of your iTunes purchases can be re-downloaded again. Log into iTunes Store, select the Purchases tab for Apps, Music, etc.
if you've been syncing your old iPod with iTunes, you can restore everything to your new iPod from the old backup. -

If you need to keep the app data, i would suggest making an icloud backup, then restoring from that backup onto the new phone
if you don't need to app data, you can transfer the purchases to itunes on a computer and sync them to your new phone, or you can just go on your new phone to app store > updates > purchased > then click the clouds next to each app to download them to the phone -

A playlist is, of course, just a listing of music tracks, or did you want to copy the music too? You do not transfer that from iPod to iPod, you synch the iPod to the same library used with the first one. -
My original hard drive was replaced due tom multiple errors. Before it crashed completely, I installed a new hard drive and slaved the old one to allow me to access the data and transfer it to the new one. I did not backup the bookmarks. How can I pull the old bookmarks from the old drive to the new installation drive???

I recently brought a new HP laptop and downloaded iTunes 11 on it. My old laptop which is a Acer has iTunes version 10.7, I believe. I wanted to know, How can I transfer 18 movies from the old iTunes onto my new Itunes? It only shows the most recent two movies when I look at the purchases in my account. you should starting with copying the iTunes folder from your old laptop to the new one.
the iTunes folder is in your user profile Music folder.
it should go to the same location on the new laptop.
Provided that you have your media, music and movies in the default location, and you sign in to your apple ID and authorize your new computer (all in iTunes)
you should have all intact.

PLug your 3gs into iTunes, in the left panel right click on your iPhone and create a backup. After the back up is complete plug your 4s into iTunes, right click on it in the left panel and select restore from backup, select the backup file from your 3gs and that should load everything from your 3gs to your new iphone
