How do i transfer photos from icloud to ipad

How do i transfer photos from icloud to ipad

For older photos you could just create a new "Shared Photo Stream" via iCloud on your iPhone and share it with yourself or you could use another cloud storage service (like Dropbox or Flickr etc.) or you could transfer them via iTunes on a PC/Mac.

You select the photos in iTunes and sync them to the iPad. Do have any idea how to sync the iPad? If not, you can read this.
    iOS: Syncing with iTunes.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1386
Connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Select the iPad from the sidebar on the left side under Devices. Click on the photos tab in iTunes at the top. Click on the Sync Photos heading. Select the folder from which you want to sync your photos, select the subfolders, events, albums, etc. that you want to sync, click Apply in the lower right corner of the iTunes window.

  • How do you transfer photos from laptop to ipad air?

How do you transfer photos from your laptop to ones ipad air?

You transfer photos during a sync with iTunes.
First organize your photos. If you're using a Mac use iPhoto to create photo albums. If you're using a PC organize your photos by creating a main photos folder. Inside of that folder creat folders and sort photos into topics or dates. Do not create any additional folders inside the first nested folder.
Then start iTunes on your computer. If you don't have iTunes on your computer download it form Apple it's free. If you already have iTunes make sure it is iTunes 11.1 or later. If it is an earlier version of iTunes update it.
Start iTunes on your computer and connect your iPad. Select your iPad in iTunes. Then select Photos from the row of tabs that are presented.
You can choose to sync photos from iPhoto or navigate to your main photo folder. Then select to sync all photos or select just the albums you want on your device.
Finally click apply or sync at the bottom of the iTunes screen on your computer.

I am trying to transfer photos from my HP photo program to my IPad, Help

    Hello,
I thought to jump in and suggest using our app that allows you to transfer photos from a computer to your iPad via wifi. You would need access to the photo files directly - I would think that your HP Photo program shows you where the photos are stored on your hard drive. Once you know where the files are you can quickly transfer your photos using any web browser and our app installed on your iPad. You can find more aobut the app here:
    http://phototransferapp.com/
Hopefully the app will be useful to you.
    Best regards!

How to transfer photos etc from computer to ipad,

This would need to be done via iTunes. So you'll need a computer, and download iTunes to it, connect your iPad, select your iPad, make sure you have the Summary page up and one of the tabs should give you an option for Photo's - sorry I'm doing this from memory.

Trying to help my Mom transfer her photos from her iTouch to her iPad mini?!

OK, so you need to attach the iPad to the computer (Windows or Mac?). Once the device is showing up, click on it and the Device Profile screens will display. Click on the Photos tab. You will see a box that says "Sync Photos from". Select where you are syncing the photos from.
Then click on Selected Photos, Albums, Events, and Faces.
Once you do that, you will be able to go below that and select the specific albums or events you want to sync.
Once they have been selected, click on Apply, and then on Sync.
    Post back with questions!

  • How do I get photos from iCloud TO iPad?

I connected my iPad in my computer and I dind't mean to restore it, but ir did. So now all my photos from the iPad are gone, but I know they are on iCloud. But the problem is I didn't make a backup from iCloud, and now I can't get them back to my iPad!
Please help me, I'm losing my mind here! There are over 1000 photos!
    Thanks

The only photos backed up to iCloud are the ones in Camera Roll which are only there if you selected iCloud for your iPad Backup. If the backup was setup to be on the computer there may not be one on iCloud. Through the Restore process you should have been prompted to restore from a backup if available. This is you best option for recovering only those photos which were stored in Camera Roll.
iCloud does have the Photo Stream service which is not intended to be a back up but more of a service to share your photos between other devices. It is possible to use Shared Photo Streams for backups but it is also intened to be used to share photos. The "My Photo Stream" has a 1000 photo and 30 day limit in which photos are removed from the servers once these limits are reached. You can log into iCloud and turn on Photo stream on the iPad which will return any photo still available on the server, but not all will be there.
Since Photo Stream and iCloud are more of a syncing service other than string the limited data in the iOS backup irreplaceable files should be synced to a dedicated online photo back up service. Or at best transferred to a computer where they can be organized and properly backed up using external drives, CD/DVDs and/or other online services. Once organized iTunes can sync an additional copy for viewing on the iPad.
    Good luck.
