How do I transfer Photoshop Elements from old computer to new?

I used Belkin Easy Transfer cable and it pulled over some Adobe files and I uninstalled from old HP Windows XP but I can't find a way to reinstalled on my new Dell Windows 7.  Photoshop 2.0 came preloaded on my HP and I can't find a product key or other ID number.

Hi,
If you registered you photoshop 2.0 then you may go to adobe.com website and log in using your email address and password and look at your registered products. If not then you may need to contact HP if it came in bundle with your computer. However even you will have access to that serial number if you you're intending to install photoshop 2.0 on a fresh windows 7 OS I don't think you will be successful since it is not compatible. I would recommend you purchase the full version of photoshop CS5 since version 2.0 is not applicable for upgrade anymore.

    What "ipod registration"?
    Plug it in and sync.
It will erase your content form the ipod and replace with content from the new computer.  Make sure you have copied everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one first.

  • How do i transfer my itunes from old computer to new computer?

Got myself a new PC (windows) and don't know how to transfer my itunes over from my old computer to my new computer - any ideas?

Probably the most straightforward way to get iTunes onto your second computer is to network it with the first one and copy your iTunes folder across. Start by consolidating your library. When you consolidate, any songs in the iTunes Library that are not in the iTunes Music Folder are copied to the Music Folder and the Library is updated to point to those new files. Files already in the iTunes Music Folder have no changes made to them: Copying all your iTunes files to one location - Windows
Copying the whole folder brings with it the iTunes Music folder and also the iTunes Library (iTunes Library.itl in Windows) database file which holds all the information about your songs (Playlists, Ratings, Play Counts, Last Played, Date Added, etc). You'll get more information including the Folder/File structure in this article: What are the iTunes library files?
When you copy the iTunes folder make sure you put it into the default location on the new computer. On a PC this is \Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Music\ (or C:\Username\Music\ in Vista). You should also use the same version of iTunes on both computers.
You can also use this method with an external hard drive, you drag the folder from the first computer to the external drive and then from the drive to the second computer.
If you have and iPod, some iPods can be used as an external drive and you can use them to move your iTunes (this option isn't available with the iPod Touch): How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer
If you have any iTunes purchases in your library don't forget that you'll need to authorise your new computer to play them. Also if you are disposing of the old one remember to deauthorise it so you don't use up one of your allowances: About iTunes Music Store Authorisation and Deauthorisation

  • How do i transfer my data from old iphone to new iphone

how do i transfer my data from old iphone to new iphone

You need to sync the data from your old iPhone, to the computer via iTunes.  Once the data is on the computer, you then need to sync it to the new iPhone, also via iTunes.
http://www.apple.com/itunes/how-to/#video-sync - this is a link with a short video that teaches you how to sync your iPod / iPhone using iTunes
If you sycn with iCloud, you can also sync some of the data via iCloud.  This may not work for all you music, if it was not purchased via iTunes.

  • How to transfer icloud data from old computer to new computer

how to transfer icloud data from old computer to new computer

The iCloud data will be on the new computer as soon as you download the iCloud control panel and sign into iCloud with your iCloud ID. What you see in iCloud is stored in iCloud, so it really doesn't matter what computer you are on. Once that computer is signed onto iCloud and the iCloud options are selected, you have full access to all of that information, and much of it is pushed back to your computer.
If you are referring to the data in an iCloud backup created by an iOS device, then that is not something that would be on a computer at all.
Does that answer your question? If not, post back with more info about what you are looking to find out.
    Cheers,

    Hi trevorius,
Happy New Year!  The answer to your question depends on what email account you are using.   If it is your iCloud email account, the email messages will be available when you enable iCloud on your new iPad.  If it is an iMap account like Gmail, the messages will be redownloaded from their server.
Transfer content from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT2109
Transfer content from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device
You can use iCloud or iTunes to transfer content from your current iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to another device.
    Use iCloud Backup
Follow these steps if both your devices use iOS 5 or later and you have an iCloud account. If not, please follow the iTunes steps below.
You can use iCloud Backup to back up your previous device and then restore the backup to a new device. Your saved messages, email accounts, photos, notes, and other personal settings will be transferred to your new device.
    See more about iCloud Backup.
    Turn on iCloud Backup
Start by backing up your old device to iCloud:
Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
    Turn on iCloud Backup.
You may want to connect to power and turn Wi-Fi on.
    Back up now
iCloud backs up your device once a day. To back up your device before you transfer content:
Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
    Tap Back Up Now.
Wait until the backup finishes. How long it will take depends on how big the backup is and how fast your Internet connection is.
    Set up your new device
When the backup of your old device is finished, turn on your new device. Follow the setup assistant, which will ask you to choose these things:
    Your language and country
    Whether to enable Location Services
    A Wi-Fi network
If you've already set up your device, you can reset it so that you can go through the iOS Setup Assistant again and restore from your backup. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Do this only if you already have a backup.
    Restore from iCloud Backup
When you're asked to set up:
    Choose Restore from iCloud Backup.
    Tap next.
Enter your Apple ID and password.
    Choose the backup
Choose the backup of your old device and tap Restore. Wait until the device finishes restoring from the backup.
How long it will take depends on how big the backup is and how fast your Internet connection is.
    Sync other content from iTunes
When the restore finishes, your device will restart. You should connect the device to iTunes to sync data that isn't in the backup (such as music, videos, or apps that you didn't purchase from the iTunes Store or the App Store ). To change the type of content that syncs, click the syncing tabs in iTunes.
    Enter your passwords
When you're restoring an iCloud backup to a new device, you'll need to enter your password for your Apple ID, email and other accounts, and voicemail. If you've forgotten your voicemail password, contact your carrier.

    Use iTunes
If you don't have an iCloud account or you just want to keep a backup on your computer, you can use iTunes to back up and transfer content on your device.
    Get ready
Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer and the latest version of iOS on your original device.
You can't install a backup of a newer version of iOS onto devices that are using earlier versions of iOS. If your backup came from a device that has a newer version of iOS installed, update your new device before you transfer your data. For help, see Unable to restore from a backup of a newer iOS device.
    Back up and transfer
First, back up your old device using iTunes. You can also encrypt the backup so that it remembers the passwords for your email, Wi-Fi, and more when you transfer to the new device. Otherwise, you can re-enter these passwords on the new device.
Then transfer your data from your device to your computer.
    Remove your SIM card
If your device has a SIM card, use the SIM-extractor tool or a paper clip to remove the SIM from your old device and insert it into your new device. Or if your carrier gave you a new SIM card, use that instead.
    Set up the new device
When the backup of your old device is finished, turn on your new device. Follow the setup assistant, which will ask you to choose these things:
    Your language and country
    Whether to enable Location Services
    A Wi-Fi network
If you don’t have a Wi-Fi or cellular data connection, you can also activate by tapping Connect to iTunes.
    Restore the backup
When prompted to set up your device, select Restore from iTunes Backup.
    Connect to iTunes
Connect your new device to iTunes, using the same computer you used to back up your current device. iTunes will ask you to restore from backup or set up as new. Select the backup of your old device and choose Continue.
If the progress bar in iTunes pauses for a while, wait until the restore finishes.
    Sync other content
When the restore finishes, your device restarts, and then it's ready for you to use.
Keep your device connected to iTunes to sync content that isn't in the backup (such as music, videos, and apps). To change the type of content that syncs, click the syncing tabs in iTunes.
    Enter your passwords
If you restored from an unencrypted backup, you'll need to enter the password for your Apple ID, email and other accounts, and voicemail. If you've forgotten your voicemail password, contact your carrier.

  • How do I transfer ipod playlist from old ipad to new ipad?

How do I transfer ipod playlist from old ipad to new ipad?

Is this a playlist you created on your old iPad, or a playlist you created with iTunes on your computer?
If the former, you should have been prompted to transfer the backup for your old iPad to your new iPad the first time you connected your new iPad to iTunes on the computer used for syncing your old iPad. If not or you declined, you need to restore your new iPad from the backup of your old iPad.
If the playlist was created with iTunes on your computer, transfer the playlist from your iTunes library on your computer to your new iPad via the iTunes sync process.
