How do I transfer pictures not on my camera roll to my MacBook?

Does anybody know how to transfer pictures from an iphone into a MacBook that are not appearing in my Iphoto? I tried the product Phoneview but it only transfered 20 of my 200 hundred pictures and I would really much rather not pay $20 for the full program =( Any pointers? I've tried the Image capture also and they are not appearing on there. I think its because I deleted them off my Iphoto thinking I was no longer going to be using my Mac Desktop Since I had just bought my MacBook.

The only way to do this is using third-party software like phoneview. I'm not aware of any free software that will do this.

  • How do I transfer pictures BACK to my camera

I am using an iMac macintel, and wish to transfer pictures back to my camera. How do I do this? Is it possible. I've done it before in an earlier version of iPhoto.

Then the same way you did before?
Does your Camera show on the desktop? If son, export the pics from iPhoto (File -> Export) and then drag them to the icon for your camera.
If you have a Canon camera, or some Kodaks, then you'll need to get a USB card reader, pop the camera card into it and then it will show on the desktop.

The easiest way is - presuming your camera uses SD cards - get the camera connection kit, plug it into your ipad, the SD card into that and import away

  • How do I transfer my whole iPhone 4 Camera Roll to Win7 run PC?

How do I transfer the whole (not just the new photos, but the whole) of my camera roll on my iPhone 4 (using the latest software) to my (Win7) PC? I've done this before by simply going Computer > Josh's iPhone > Internal Storage > DCIM. Then at will I'd select and distribute my photos. However within the DCIM folder there are nine folders all with names such as 823WGTMA, 842GGLUF and 965YOKDJ.
Initially I thought it'd be a bit of hasstle having to go into each individual folder, selecting the photos, then copying them; but still do-able! Unfortunately upon trying to copy all the photos in the nine different folders to one folder (named Full Camera Roll) an error message came up saying Two Files Have The Same Name, or something to that effect, with only two options, Copy and Replace, or Don't Copy at all. No sign of Copy and keep Both. Now if it were just a few photos I would normally just edit each name manually, but I'm talking about moving several thousand photos!
In short, is there any way of transferring the whole camera roll without renaming each individual photo, and without gong to several different folders to get at them? If you did take the time to read this, thank you, and thank you if you take the time to offer any help!

I think you have dup names because the OS has started recycling the names.  There is a limit to how far it can go before that happens.  Take a look at the first and last folders on your phone and see if the numbers begin again.  If that's the case, you can copy the contents of all the folders except one of the ones containing the dupes to a single folder on your PC, but then you will have to copy any files with dup names into a different folder and rename them there before copying into your new single folder.  Here are instructions for doing that on Win 7:

  • Pictures not saving to camera roll

New iPhone 5,  pictures are not showing up in camera roll when I take a picture.  picture shows up in bottom left, but not in camera roll or "photo" app.  Tried restoring the phone and resetting, but still having the issue.  Any fixes?

When you take a photo is there a small icon of the picture in the bottom corner? What happens if you touch that?
If there is no icon or you are not taken to the Photos App to see your new photo then have you tried restarting or resetting your iDevice?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
    No data will be lost.

How do you transfer pictures taken on my droid incredible to my MacBook Pro? When I plug the phone into the computer using the usb port I get a message saying--"The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer." Any help would be apppreciated.

Is the phone set to be used as a Mas Storage Device? Check the phone settings. If it is then the SD card should read as a FAT32 device and any computer that can read FAT32 formatted drives. which all computers I know about, will be able to read the files on it.

  • How do I transfer all notes from iPad to my macbook

How could I transfer all notes from iPad 4th generation to my MacBook?

I would do that by transferring my existing notes on my iPad into an iCloud account.  You would set up an iCloud notes account on your iPad (Settings > iPad).  Make sure all the notes reside in the iCloud account (not an easy task).  Then turn on iCloud notes on your MacBook, and they will all mysteriously appear.
Another way would be to wait for iOS 8 and Yosemite.  Once these two new operating systems are released, Apple has said you will be able to use AirDrop to move information between iOS and OS X devices.

Well I guess you can press cmd + shift + 3 to take a picture of your whole screen or cmd + shift + 4 to take a picture of a selected area, that will create a file called "screen shot yyyy-mm-dd at hh:mm:ss.jpg" on your desktop then you just select those files and drag them into iPhoto.

how do i transfer pictures from my ipad 2 to my pc

For photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
For photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer (which has a free lite version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer) which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

How can I transfer pictures from my MacBook Pro to my iPad mini please?

If you are on iTunes 11 on your Mac then you may want to re-enable the left-hand sidebar via View > Show Sidebar, which might make it easier to navigate and may instructions may make more sense.
To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you've enabled the sidebar), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you haven't enabled the sidebar, then from your library click 'iPad' at the top right of the screen and you should get a series of buttons along the top of the screen, including one for Photos
