If they were purchased then you simply transfer purchases

Songs should reside in iTunes, if you have any non-purchased content on the phone you will need a 3rd party program to transfer -

how do i transfer pictures from my iphone to my mac book pro using usb. i tried but it keeps saying no photos available
You can only transfer photos via USB that you took yourself with the camera and are on the Camera Roll. If you are trying to transfer other photos I think you can transfer using third party software, or possibly mail them to yourself (?).

How do I transfer videos from my iphone to my iPad?
I am looking for an easy way to transfer the videos I shot with my iPhone4 to my iPad2 (wireless if possible).
iCloud shares only photos as far as I understand. Dropbox also doesn't work for me because I want to access the videos with apps like iMovie.
I am thankful for any support.
PS: If it comes to any desktop related solution I work with Windows ;-)Due to thier usually large size, I don't believe they will auto transfer via icloud.
You can look at these links for possible solutions.

HT4527 How do I transfer music from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro?
Hi my computer was recently stolen and now I am trying to transfer the music & photos from my iphone to the new itunes music library and the photos which I had synced from my mac to my phone, back onto the mac. So far I have only been able to transfer the items purchased from itunes. How do I transfer the songs that I had previously had in my library?
The iphone is not a backup device.
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. the only exception is itunes purchases.
If your backup copy of your comptuer was not stolen, then use it to put evefrything back.
Otherwise, you may be able to buy software to move the music. -
How do I transfer music from my iPhone to my MacBook Air?
Hi!
I just bought a MacBook Air and I would like to to transfer my music from my iPhone 5C to the MacBook. I tried backing up my iPhone but only about 4 of the songs transferred. Please help me, I'd be so grateful!
ThanksThe iPhone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to iPhone. The only exception is iTunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You should copy everything ( files/docs/pics/contacts/calendars/music/etc) from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one -
How do i transfer video from my iphone 3gs with ios5 to my mac?
I've recently shot to videos that are to big to email.
How do I import the video or isn't it possible?
I've tried with itunes, imovie, iphoto and image capture, but my phone only shows up as a device in itunes.
Anybody got any ideas? You can't do videos with Photo Stream, so you're saying that neither iPhoto or Image capture see your phone as a camera, correct? In your iPhone camera roll, do you have both pics & videos, or just videos? If you have pics in the camera roll, were they all shot using the phone's camera, or were any saved from emails or web sites?

How can I transfer video from my iPhone to my iPad without a computer?
I do have a work computer, a MacBook Air, but I can't sync it to my iPad. My iPad is already synced to my home computer. The camera connection kit used to work, but now I have an iPhone 5s and an iPad mini: all lightening connectors. Will the lightening to USB Camera adapter do the job?

Yep.
However, importing pics/videos in your camera roll DOES NOT involve syncing, & you can import these directly to your computer. Launch iPhoto, connect your phone, import. If iTunes launches, quit it.
That's all you have to do. You can import camera roll pics/videos to any computer you want. -
How do I transfer video from ipad to macbook pro
How do I transfer video from my iPad to my MacBook Pro?
Hi MeSwolf,
You can do it wirelessly with Dropbox. The Dropbox app has a very cool auto-upload process that will automatically upload photos and videos from the iPad Camera Roll to Dropbox.
First sign up for a free Dropbox account from your computer.
Then, download the free Dropbox app on your iPad.
Log in to the Dropbox app on the iPad with your new account and click on the Photos icon in the lower left corner of the screen (second one from the left).
Select "Enable Camera Upload" and "Only Wi-Fi." The upload process will begin for all existing photos and videos in the Camera Roll.
From now on, all future photos and videos taken by the iPad will automatically upload to the Dropbox folder. You can then download your photos from Dropbox to your computer by going tohttp://www.dropbox.com, logging in to your account, and downloading the photos and videos.
Hope this helps!

How do I transfer videos from my laptop to my iPhone 5c
How can I transfer videos from my laptop to my iPhone 5c
This way should fix the issue about how to transfer photos from laptop to iPhone 4s.
1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed.
2. In iTunes, select your device's icon in the Devices list on the left.
3. Click the Photos tab.
4. Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Note: Some versions of Photoshop Album and Photoshop Elements don't support collections. You can still use them to sync all your photos.
5. If you want to sync all your photos, enable the option for "All photos, albums, events, and faces." If you want to sync photos from only some albums, events, or faces, enable the option for "Selected albums, events, and faces" and then select the albums you want. If syncing on a Mac with iPhoto version 6.0.6 or later, you may enable the option to "Include videos" to sync videos directly from iPhoto to your device. (Requires iOS 3.0 or later).
6. Click Apply. -

How do I transfer videos from iPhone 5 to my iPad Air? My photos are automatically streaming but my videos are not. I tried through airdrop but they are in airdrop on my phone (twice) but not on my iPad.
Try using a third-party app like DropBox.

How can I transfer photos from my iphone to my computer without emailing each one to myself
how can I transfer photos from my iphone to my computer without emailing each one to myself, and I thought they would be in icloud but I can't find them
Pics taken with the iphone are imported to your computer as with any other digital camera ( as explained in the manual).
Pics synced to your iphone from your computer should still be on the computer.
