How do I transmit music wirelessly to speakers from I tunes / my pc or my iPad?

I would like to transmit music from my iTunes or my pc or my iPad to speakers in a remote location of my home which cannot be hard wired. What equipment do I need?

I believe that service is known as iMatch. It'll cost you $25 a year, however, if you want to push music to the iCloud, that is, other than that which you have already purchased on iTunes (which you can re-download as you wish).

How do I add music to the cloud from PC to my iPhone, iPad, and Apple tv?

icloud does not handle music, except for letting you download music you previously bought at the iTunes store.  For music, get it into iTunes on your PC, then connect your devices to the PC and using iTunes to sync it to them.  Not sure about Apple TV.  I think that might require buying a subscription to iTunes Match.

how do you remove music or books permanently from account?

You can't, you can only hide them via your computer's iTunes so that they don't show in the cloud for redownloading : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases - Apple Support.
If your computer is a Mac with Mavericks or Yosemite on it then you hide books via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iBookstore homepage in its iBooks app.

  • How do you sync music into your library from another file

how do you sync music into your library from another file?  After moving all my music into a new location, is there a quicker way to upload the music into the library rather than adding file by file?

    Hi MonicaJani,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.  You can also add folders of media as described here:

Adding content on your computer to iTunes
iTunes helps you add digital audio and video files on your computer directly to your iTunes library. You can add audio files that are in AAC, MP3, WAV, AIFF, Apple Lossless, or Audible.com (.aa) format. If you have unprotected WMA content, iTunes for Windows can convert these files to one of these formats. You can also add video content in QuickTime or MPEG-4 format to iTunes. To learn how to add these files to iTunes follow the steps below.
    Open iTunes
From the File menu, choose one of the following choices:
    MacAdd to Library
    Windows
    Add File to Library
    Add Folder to Library
Navigate to and select the file or folder that you want to add
If iTunes is set to "Copy files to the iTunes Music folder when adding to library," iTunes will copy all content that is added to the iTunes library to the iTunes Music folder. To adjust this setting or change the location of this folder, go to the Advanced tab in iTunes Preferences.
    Cheers,

How do i delete my credit card info from i tunes and still down load stuff??

I think this issue has already been resolved in other discussions, please review Apple Discussions more carefully before you start a new discussion. This makes it easier for people to find the "resolved" discussions when searching for the anwers, like you are.
But I'll still give you some info.
I would suggest that you sign into your iTunes Store account using a computer as mobile devices can sometimes not update the info on your iTunes Store account(all based on connection and some security features on your account). Once you sign in, click the arrow next to your email address in the upper right corner of the screen and then click "Account". In the Apple ID summary, you can click edit in the payment section and then you need to click "None" that appears. Try these steps:
    click this link:
    https://phobos.apple.com/accountSummary
(If you are not already signed in, you will need to enter your iTunes Store account name and password and then click the Account Info button to sign in.)
The Apple Account Information page will appear. On this page, click the Edit Payment Information button, which is the second button from the top.
On the Edit Payment Information page, select "None" from the list of credit card types. This will delete your billing information.
Be sure to click the Done button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
Please note: you cant remove your credit card if have an outstanding balance without providing a new credit card or iTunes Store Gift Card(needs to process all payments before you can remove a credit card). Also, any active allowances or subscrtiptions(i think) will not allow the credit card to be removed.
Some people are not given the option to remove their credit card. This indicates a billing issue with your account. Email iTunes Store Support for assitance, but I would make sure you havn't used the iTunes Store account for a while(week) and then try again.
All Apple ID info is private, so only the accoutn owner can edit the information. I suggest that you keep trying and trying after restarting your computer and many sign in and sign outs before you give up.

  • How can I download a new text alert from i tunes?

I have an Iphone 4, How can I download a new text alert from I tunes?  I can download a ringtone, but not a text alert?

ok thanks for that, it just seems daft that for such an advanced phone it wont let you do anything as basic as changing a text alert

  • How can i stream music (itunes, soundcloud, rio) from my macbook wirelessly to my stereo?

    how can i do this?

You can do this a couple of ways. The easiest and cheapest way is to purchase an AirPort Express and connect it to your sound system. This will make it a "wirelessly enabled device" and you can use AirPlay in iTunes to stream music to your speakers. Another option is Apple TV but that will do a great many things more like video streaming to a TV.

  • How do I stream music wirelessly from my NAS to my iPad?

    Hi,
I've recently set my Dlink DNS 320 NAS with iTunes server. I've installed the latest iTunes and plugged my iPad into my desktop pc. I can see my NAS in the left hand pane of my iTunes window, and all of my music is listed there.
When I unplug my iPad, and leave my desktop pc on, I open up Music on my iPad, click on the More option and I can see all the music available. When I turn off my pc I can no longer see my music.
Now I'm working on my laptop, latest iTunes installed and again I can see my NAS in the left hand pane with all of my music. Plugged the iPad into my laptop, installed it, and unplugged it again.
Okay, I have one query and one problem.
Problem: when my laptop is turned on, running iTunes, I can't see any music available on my iPad under the More function. I can only Genres and Composers.  How do I access my music collection with the laptop turned on?
Query: Do I have to keep my pc / laptop turned on to play the music wirelessly on my iPad.  Seems a bit ridiculous that I've got my NAS running across my wireless network, with iTunes server running, but I have to keep my pc to get to the music.
Thanks in advance for any support and help!

Could you explain more? WHat do you mean that you do not have "import" on iTunes? Are you trying to find an import command to add the videos to your iTunes media library? It is called Add to library and is found in the iTunes File menu.
But you can add files to the iTunes media library by just dropping the files onto the iTunes icon.

  • I don't have a Mac or PC so how do I put music on my iPod from my iPad?

I received an iPad Air for Christmas and just recently bought an iPod nano (the newest generation) under the impression that I can use my iPad to sync music onto my iPod. I am struggling to figure out how to do this. Everything I have read has said that you need a Mac or PC to sync music onto an ipad---I do not have a computer. Only an iPad. Feeling very frustrated that I just bought the iPod for this purpose and now there seems to be no way of even using it. Please help me figure this out.
    Thanks!

I'm sorry, but I don't know where you got that impression, because it is incorrect. You have to sync music to a Nano from iTunes on a computer. You cannot sync the music from the iPad to the Nano or to any other iPod device.
The Nano is useless to you without a computer. See if you can return it. Apple has a 14 day no questions asked refund policy - if you bought it from them.
