How do I turn a photo to Portrait?

Hello,
I've been using iWeb to create my new site. Everything has been going well, except when I create a photo page, my photos are inserted in "Landscape" even though in iPhoto I had already turned the photo to "Portrait".
Can anyone assist in how I can turn the photos on to their side in iWeb? (or doing something in iPhoto first to ensure that settings are carried to iWeb with the photo)
Thanks
Sascha

Workaround: drag the photo out of iPhoto onto the desktop first, then drag into iWeb.

Go to control panel, search for 'iCloud", double-click iCloud to open the iCloud control panel for Windows, then uncheck photo stream.  If you want to keep any photo stream photos on your PC, be sure to copy them to a separate folder (outside of the photo stream folder) before unchecking photo stream.

  • HT204022 How can I turn off photo stream without deleting photos permanently?

I am wondering how I can turn off photo stream on my iPad and iPhone without permanently deleting the photos on my MacBook pro. When I try to turn off photo stream, it says it will delete my photos.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Import them into an event(s) before you delete them from photo stream

if you open the info pane on the folder with  command i
From this info pane in the upper left you can paste anything you want,  in your case the rotated photo.
Rotate your photo in Preview, save, select all, copy and paste.

  • How do I turn on photo sharing in itunes so I can see all my iphone photos on my ipad and home computer?

How do I turn on home sharing so I can see all my iphone photos on all my devices, ipad, apple TV, and home computer?  I must have stopped home sharing when setting this up but would like to turn it on again.

You might have been using the iPad every day and this issue could have cropped up anyway. I have read where users state that they used their iPad the night before, plugged in to charge it over night and they had the connect to iTunes message on the iPad the next morning.
What I'm saying is that what happened to you can't be explained other than something went wrong. Brilliant I know, but how can anyone possibly know what happended for sure.
Without a computer - and I know that with iOS 5 an iPad can be PC free - it is my belief that you could be facing issues down the line because even with iCloud - if you get the connect to iTunes message - there is no way to correct the problem without a computer.
Even of you had been using the device every day, charging it every night and taking great pains to ensure that the iPad was well cared for, once the connect to iTunes message pops up - you still need a computer.
Unless I have been missing something for the last six months, iCloud can't bail anyone out of this scenario.

  • How do i turn off photo burst on my iPhone 5?

i doubt if the model or the IOS make much difference.
i know that i turned it on somehow, but i cannot find anything about it on the phone or in the user guide and it's making me slightly loopy right now.
    can you please help me?
    thank you.

There is no option to turn of burst mode. It depends on how you touch the shutter button to take the photo:
    From the User Guide:
Touch and hold the shutter button to take photos in burst mode. The counter shows how many shots you’ve taken, until you lift your finger. To see the suggested shots and select the photos you want to keep, tap the thumbnail, then tap “Favorites.” The gray dot(s) mark the suggested photos. To copy a photo from the burst as a separate photo in Camera Roll, tap the circle on the lower-right corner. To delete the burst of photos, tap it, then tap .

  • How do i turn my photos into a photo stock where each photo may appear under several titles/albums?

Hi apple dudes, I have about 7500 photos on my work MacBook Pro and what I want to do with them is tag/label each one with up to 5 headings so that each photo could effectively appear in or under multiple albums. I am effectively trying to create a photo stock of loads of images. To further explain, a picture of a dog a boat and a palm tree on a beach at sunset could fall under the heading of "dog", "beach", "tree", "boat", "sunset" etc, you get the picture ;0) Is there an easy way of doing this? I have "inherited" this fantastic job and the current photos may not be in any real order or albums and a lot of them don’t have a date or location attached to them. Can anyone provide any help with this query? Thank guys ;0) x

What I would do is first create the keywords that you want to use to identify the different photos with.  You can do that in the Keyword pane (Command+K).  Then select  the first photo in an event or grouping you want to start with, bring up the keyword pane and start applying the keywords to the photos.  When you finish with one use the arrow key on the keyboard to move to the next and apply the appropriate keyword(s).
Then you can create smart albums with the criteria:  Keyword is "dog".  You can set it to look for two or more keywords.  Keyword is "dog" and Keyword is "tree".  That will find all photos with either of those two keywords.  If you want only photos with both keywords you have to create a Keyword named "dog + tree" and use the criteria Keyword is "dog + tree".  A little clumsy but can be done.
Each smart album will contain just those photos you've targeted.

  • How can one turn a photo in the scene line

it was easy to turn it in the orgamizer but trasfered sideways znywy

Unless I am misunderstanding your question it's very simple:  right-click on the picture in the timeline or sceneline and select properties. In the properties window, click the triangle next to Motion and you should see the words "rotate left" and "rotate right".  Just click the icon to the left of those and that should do what I beleve you are looking for.
If not perhaps some additional detail to your question?

  • Since turning on iCloud Photos in iTunes 12, i can't sync photos from mac to phone. how do i turn it off?

Since turning iCloud Photos on in tines 12 i am no longer able to sync my photo folders to my iPhone 6 +. How do i now do it? Or, how do i turn iCloud Photos off in tunes?
    Thank you all

ICloud photos is not able to be turned on in iTunes yet.  That is the reason you cannot sync.
You must turn it off on your iPhone.  Settings > Photos & Camera > iCloud Photo Library (Beta) = "Off"
You may then need to reset your iPhone by holding the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.  You can then try a sync again.

  • How turn off Photos autostarting when connecting iPad

When I connect my iPad Mini 3 (iOS 8.3) to Yosemite 10.10.3 over USB, my MacBook Pro always starts Photos.
How do I turn off Photos autostarting?
My iPad is a test bed for apps, so Photos always comes over my Xcode screen when I least want it
Besides, there is no pictures on the iPad to sync anyway
I've been looking in the manuals and on the forums here, to no avail. That is why I turn to you.
    Thanks, Eburon

I found the answer, so I'd happily share it:
Follow these steps to turn off iPhoto’s auto-startup when you connect your iOS device to your Mac:
Connect your iOS device to your Mac via your Lightning or 30-pin sync cable. (iPhoto will open one last time, go ahead and close it.)
Open the Image Capture app. (It’s in your Applications folder.)
Click on your iOS device in the left-hand pane.
At the bottom left of the Image Capture window, you’ll see a pull-down option allowing you to select what happens when your connect this iOS device to your Mac. (You may need to click the tiny “up” arrow in the lower left corner before you see this option.)
The top option is “No application.” Click that option to select it.
Close out the app. iPhoto should no longer pop-up every time you connect you iOS device to you Mac.
With special thanks to Kirk McElhearn, (via The Loop), for the original tip and Chris Hauk for making me find it on Google.
