How do I turn off (and on) Private Browsing in Version 28? Seems to be permanently set to Private Browsing mode. I would like to be able to choose which mode on the fly without addons. All the help I have seen so far, is for older versions of Firefox. I am using Version 28. Which seems to be the latest version as of right now.

You can check that you aren't running Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Never remember history)?

I have been trying for days to help a friend with a new iMac to turn on the icon size slider bar that on my iMac appears at the bottom of ever folder when it is open when in the "view" > "icon" mode. I cannot find anything that discusses this slider bar. I can turn this status bar off and on on both my machine and my friends machine, but I cannot turn off or on the slider on either machine.

This did not help. I am a Mac User since 1984 and generally I am never stymied buy the Mac OS, but this one has me. I can open and close the lower status bar, as you described, and that works fine for me because I have the icon slider bar already there and it works fine; however when I open the lower status bar on my friends machine there is no icon size slider bar, and I can't seem to find out how to get it there, as it is on my machine or at all. The icon size can be controlled from the View menu, but as a photographer, it is really handy to have it at the bottom of the folder window. Thanks for trying.

I prefer the older way where if you don't insert www. it would google it for you now, there is no way to do that. To disable that feature it will depend on whether or not you sync everything in the cloud using Apple's iCloud, OR if you both use the same desktop/laptop computer with iTunes. I'm having trouble with my Time Capsule Airport, I made all the settings according to the manual, but there has been a connection problem with my iMac. When I finish my work I turn off the imac and then again when they return to work and care, it can not connect to Time Capsule Airport, making it impossible to remove the files and make back up by Time Machine only works when I turn off and turn on the Airport Time Capsule , but I think this may end up with the unit. The following are important..
DO not use long names with spaces and non-alphanumeric names.
Use short names, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.

Wireless name TCwifi
Use WPA2 Personal security with 10-20 character pure alphanumeric password.
read apple instructions to help with TM and TC.. they did finally admit it has issues in Mavericks.

It sounds like your screen recording is doing what it was designed to do, capture what is happening on your screen, with optional voice over with the microphone.
Screen recording is for recording what you see on the screen, it is not a "video capture" option, like for capturing a movie with sound that is playing on your screen.

It worked for me and my "user" site (don't know how to say my site) and still having problems with my wife's. I have gone to OPTIONS → GONE TO → ADVANCE and CLICKED THE LINE → ""Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page…""

You should still disable this setting:

It is in Settings>iTunes & App Stores to change automatic downloads. But it isn't your device that needs to be changed if you are the one that made the download. He needs to turn off the setting for automatic downloads on his phone. I'm guessing here, but you are all sharing the same Apple ID?

Your music will only be where you put it. You can download the itunes program and sign into your account on any computer, but your music/content will not be there unless you put it there.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod. File>Transfer Purchases
