How do I turn off Life is Good notification on Lg G2 Lollipop?

I tried replacing notifications with other sounds for Display Off and other updates, but now I get both the annoying Life is Good and my quiet choice (Sprout).  I attached the phone to my laptop and looked for the Life is Good notification sound, but I cannot find it to delete it.  I only found the 2+min music file.

System notification files cannot be deleted.  They are OS-protected.  The display off and notification sounds are in sounds and notifications under Notifications and Advanced settings.  Screen off sound is default to a very short tone and I can't see a way to make that any other sound.  Where or when are you hearing "Life is Good?"

How do I turn off all of the notifications on iPad mini? All of them at once. They are so annoying. And it's annoying to go to preferences and put off the notifications for every app. When I instal any app it asks me - do you want to recieve notifications? I say no, but almost every app does the notifications.
    P.S.
I wish to **** someone in apple for this annoying thing. Please tell me how to turn this annoying thing off.

  • How do I turn off HP Sure supply notification pop-ups?

    Hi,
How do I turn off HP Sure Supply notification pop-ups? They are constant and annoying. I buy HP inks from a different supplier, please help.
    Liz

    Hi @lh39,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I understand you would like to turn off the HP Sure Supply notifications, you are using a different brand of cartridges and keep getting the pop up.
    1. Start Menu
    2. Control Panel
    3. Devices and Printers
    4. Highlight your OJ 8600 (Click on it)
    5. You should now notice at the top of the devices and printers box there is a Print server properties tab (see pic below)
    6. Once in the print server properties please click on the Advanced tab
    7. Make sure ALL the boxes are unchecked (see pic below)
    8. Click Apply
Please keep in mind that this will not turn off essential printer messages, notifying you of problems such as lack of ink or paper jams; it turns off messages notifying you of the completion of a print job or low ink warnings. Essential printer messages are built into the firmware of the printer itself and cannot be disabled.
I got this helpful information www.ehow.com
If you are still getting the error message, use genuine HP ink cartridges to avoid the pop up.
I hope this helps, please let me know if you require more assistance.

  • How can I turn off Facebook check-in notifications?

I keep getting notified when one of my facebook friends checks in to a certain location. Thing is I'm not interested in being informed of this. Is there a way to turn off check-in notifications? And before you answer, yes I have gone to Settings > Facebook > Push Notifications and turned off Nearby Friends and Place Tags.

Sorry Michael Bratley but English must clearly not be your first language when the guy clearly states he's already turned notifications off in settings then you tell him to do what he's already done lol
But dont feel bad it's the same story through out this forum
No one being able to help
And everyone posting silly pointless solutions that don't fix the issues
Anyone figured out why I only get nearby notifications (within the app) from only one person yet?
When I have all settings notifs turned off and nearby within Facebook app turned off too?

  • How do i turn off sound and text notifications?

I find both the text and sound notifications very annoying. I do not play games or do anything other than work on this computer. When I unchecked the "show a notification" and "play a sound" boxes, the notifications and sounds do not turn off. I also prepared a 5 second sound file of silence and checked the "Play a Sound" and "use the following sound" boxes with the name of the silence in the required field. Nothing has worked. I don't like being disturbed when I work. I have done the checking and unchecking before restarting and also starting the computer up after a complete shut down.

If you unchecked the option in Thunderbird then I doubt that is where the notification is coming from. MACs are notorious for supplying an additional notification. I would check your operating system for the source of the notification.

  • How do I turn off sound for mail notifications?

Just got my first iPhone (I know, welcome to the 21st Century). I've had Android before this. I have it synced to my work e-mail, but I don't want a sound playing every time I get a work e-mail, because then my phone annoyingly chirps all day at work, when I already get an alert on my computer for the new mail. I only want to be able, when away from the office, to do a quick check and see that I have a new e-mail.
In Sound, I selected "None" for New Mail, both for the Alert Tone and the Vibration. In Notification Center, "Mail" shows up in the "Do Not Include" list. Yet still, my iPhone plays a tone every single time a new e-mail comes in. What am I doing wrong?

Settings > Notification Center > Mail > Select the mail account (if more than one) > Alert Sound > None

  • How do I turn off OS notifications in upper right corner

How do I turn off the little banner notifications for system updates, it's driving me insane, it pops out every five minutes. In Notifications in System Preferences there is nothing there for the OS, only various specific applications. Thank you.

If you want an "in-between" option to baltwo's excellent suggestion, go to the System Preferences > Notifications, click on each entry, and UNcheck everything, similar to mine here, after moving (dragging) every entry from the "IN" category to the "Not In" category:
This does not eliminate the menu icon; it just pretty much disables it, but you can drag an entry back in or leave one in just in case you want to be notified.

  • How to completely turn off Bluetooth and Wireless

    Hey everybody,
I'm running Windows XP SP3 via Boot Camp and I was wondering if anyone can assist me in how to completely turn off Bluetooth and Wireless connectivity so that I can reserve as much batter life while being in class taking notes without a plug-in source, but not uninstall. I know there is a Bluetooth control panel and I disabled it there but under "connect to" its still remains there. Basically I want to have the Bluetooth and Wireless turned off completely when I startup and still have the icons shown in the taskbar to let me know that they are still there.
    Thanks!

Joergen Thomson, I can see that you have the same thoughts like I do, I wish they could release a software that is stable and better then this.
I dont have the energi or time to report all flaus back to cisco, this product have taking to much of my time and frustration already. Thank you so much for all the time you spend to try get this product stable and hopefully a good product.
I have a costumer that have a webservice that is IP restricted, For now I have to define more then 93 policys openening for the same service because this doesnt handle address list and groups. And all the times I had to set it back to factory default becasue of HTTP Admin server stopped, VPN Problem, Firmware Upgrades, "Packet Loss" and so on takes alot of time becasue I need to reconfig policies back.
For now to they release a firmware is stable I have take this piece off the network and put the back a old Fortinet 60 box.

  • HT4527 The computer that has my i Tunes library has crashed, How do I turn off Home Sharing on this computer and tranfer my files to another computer?

How do i turn off home sharing and transfer my ITunes library to another computer?

Your music will only be where you put it.  You can download the itunes program and sign into your account on any computer, but your music/content will not be there unless you put it there.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod.  File>Transfer Purchases

  • How do I turn off Facebook text messages?

    Hello,
I really don't know where to ask this question, so I hope I'm posting it in the right location. I transitioned from the iPhone 3GS to the new iPhone 4S. On my older iPhone, I NEVER received text messages from Facebook (which is a good thing). However, now that I am using the 4S, I am constantly getting bombarded with text messages from Facebook. They are "notifications", ie, when someone posts to my wall or if someone responds to a comment that I made.
I don't know if this is something that is controlled from the Facebook web page (using Safari on my iMac), or if it is controlled from the Facebook app on my iPhone, or if it is controlled from "Settings" or "Notifications" on the iPhone. I have tried all of these places and turned everything off. All notifications for Facebook are in the "OFF" position. I am at my wit's end because this stupid thing is waking me up in the middle of the night with Facebook text messages.
If anyone can help me in finding out how to turn this feature off, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks!

Okay, it has been a few hours and I have not had a single text message from Facebook. WHEW!!
It had to be your suggestion that fixed it. I don't know how I missed turning off that one notification, but I guess that's what did the trick. They have made this notification stuff a bit confusing, becasue there are multiple areas where you can go in and turn stuff on and offf, and you really can't tell what it is you're doing until it's too late.
Thanks again for your help. I will mark this question as "Answered".

  • How do I turn off email alerts in iOS 7?

How do I turn off email alerts in iOS 7? I've been to Notifications, Mail/Contacts/Calendars & Sounds. Turned everything off but the kitchen sink...powered down and back up...persistent email sound goes off everytime mail arrives (junk or good). Thanks. Started happening after upgrading my wife's iPhone 5.  I had no problems with upgrade on my own iPhone 5 (imagine that LOL).

further clarified, yes I move Mail App to DO NOT INCLUDE and the mail icon now appears in that list. Mail is set to Vibrate Only...thanks for trying

  • TS1741 How do I turn off my Apple TV?

How do I turn off my Apple TV?

Interesting and really helpful! I just discovered the newest AppleTV was causing my Free To Air digital TV signal to cut out when it came back to live (the AppleTV). I was panicking a bit over the last couple of days wondering why the TV signal was disappearing ... with the Olympics coverage coming up.
Now when I put the AppleTV to sleep the TV signal comes back.
The AppleTV has its own HDMI port connection ... not sure how it coming to life causes the Digital TV signal to crap out.

  • Unity - How do I turn off voicemail message "your mailbox is almost full"?

We recently set a mailbox limit on our exchange server. Some users are over the limit until they deuce their mailbox size. When they check their messages via the 7940 "messages" button, they get the message "Your mailbox is almost full?etc" before it will playback their messages. Once they get their mailbox under 90% of the limit the messages will go away. My question is how do I turn off the message? I realize the message is a "good thing", but even if it's a system (all off) setting, please post. I did find how keep outside users that are calling in from hearing that they can't leave a message because the person they're trying to contact has a full mailbox, so that's not what I'm looking for. I?m just trying to find out how to keep the user with the new limit from hearing that every time.
    We are running Unity 4.2(1)

You can disable this in the registry. This is not a Cisco documented or recommended option. I have done it for customers who were really adament about the notifications.
Here are the steps to do on your Unity server. Again I want to stress I'm not sure if this is Cisco supported but it's a simple change that requires no reboot.
    1. Backup your windows registry
    2. Open regedit
    3. Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Active Voice\MalEx\1.0
    4. Open the REG_DWORD DisableStatusCheck
    5. Change the value from 0 to 1
This should take effect right away. This is a universal system all off for the Unity server only. Exchange is not effected.

  • How do I turn off password at login for all users?

I want to keep separate users but I don't want a password requirement to login for any user. How do I turn off the password requirement at login altogether?

Its not only a matter of other people, but also any software-based threats or even mishaps. For instance, there are some Terminal commands that can be executed by a program, script, or even another user that require authentication. If you do not have a password set then these can be executed directly with administrative privileges. Some of these can be disastrous to the system if used incorrectly.
I agree for the most part if your system is fairly isolated then this is not much of an issue, but there is the rare possibility of malware or simple user mistakes that a good password helps guard against.
