i have a iphone 6 64 gb gold. i also have the same phone in the grey.i want to sell my gold iphone but i dont know how to turn off the "find my phone program. help?

1.From the Home screen, navigate: Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
2.Ensure that the Location Services switch is on (in the green position).
3.Tap System Services.
4.Tap the Find My iPhone switch to turn on or off. If prompted, enter your Apple ID password then tap Turn Off.

Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iPad and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). New iPhones don't come setup with an Apple ID/Password. What you're experiencing is called Activation Lock, & unless you know the original Apple ID/Password that was originally used to first activate this phone, you won't be able to reactivate it.
You can login to iCloud.com, from any computer, use Find My Phone to locate & erase the phone. But, you'll still need to know the original Apple ID/Password to reactivate it.

Find My iPhone has nothing to do with receiving or not receiving text messages.
What you should have done is turn off iMessage prior to handing over the device.

You sould be able to sync both ways. Check your default calendar on your phone by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>scroll down to the calendars section to Default Calendar. Check to be sure you have selected your mac calendar as your default (and not, for example, On My iPhone). Then enter a new event on your phone and sync to confirm that it appears on your mac.

Just go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID and turn off Find My Phone from there.

No, to restore, you need to turn off Find My iPhone and to do so you need the Apple ID & password.
It's the Activation Lock that prevents thief wiping the iPhone for reuse.
Take the iPhone from her and if you have the receipt (not from 3rd parties shops), call Apple Care and see if they can help.

Too bad. It completely erases the phone so it will be like it was when it came out of the box. He will need to go through the initial setup screens on the phone again to reactivate it before he can use it, and it will require entering his iCloud password to do so.
