How do I turn off the One-Click Shape Tool Popup?

This has been frustrating me since I upgraded....
So lately I've been having to make faux pixel art for work. I've been using the shape tool and a grid to achieve the look.The process used to be painless, but with this new One-Click Shape Tool popup, it's driving me nuts!!!!
I'm using a simple rectangle tool which in the settings I set to a FIXED SIZE of 18px by 18 px, so every time I draw a square it snaps to that size. Great! The issue is with this new PS6/CC "improvement" if I don't drag the mouse and instead click while making the shape, I get this ANNOYING popup. It asks to input the height and width and has a check box to draw the shape from the center.
Now, since I'm making pixel art, I'm dropping several 18 by 18 shapes a second... you can imagine how often this STUPID popup interrupts my flow. PLEASE tell me there is a way to turn this off. WHY would it ask for dimensions when I already locked the size in the shape options. *sob* Please help me....

It's not a bug though. This was a feature added to Photoshop 6/CC, I'm just wondering if there is a way to turn it off.
It's very easy to reproduce this feature. Have any shape tool selected (rectangle, ellipse, polygon, etc) and click on the canvas without moving the mouse. That's it.
It's just frustrating to get this popup when I already have it set to fixed size.

Go into settings > sounds > volume > slide both system and notifications volume full left. This will lower the sound output to zero.
System notifications are a pop-pop sound made whenever a key pad entry is made or a new command or change is made to the system itself. B33 .tikibar1 But you will not have any notification sounds at all if you do this.

Thanks Nancy. Unfortunately that doesn't do it. I turned those off awhile back. Nor can I find anything under VIEW that seems to make a difference. Just FYI: I'm on a Mac OS w/Dreamweaver CS6 - but this has happened on previous versions of DW. Thanks again.

There are two things to try.
(1) Press shift key when adjusting volume.
(2) In System Preferences, Sound, Sound Effects, uncheck the checkbox "Play feedback..."

To disable that feature it will depend on whether or not you sync everything in the cloud using Apple's iCloud, OR if you both use the same desktop/laptop computer with iTunes. FWIW, I just got off the phone with Apple technical support about this. I use Genuis for creating playlists, so I don't want to disable it, but Apple support confirmed that there is no way to avoid syncing Genius data without disabling Genius altogether. I'd read somewhere else that subscribing to iTunes Match might allow you to avoid this, but that is NOT the case, as I've confirmed, and Apple support has confirmed. For me, it routinely syncs thousands genius of items, so I have to allow a lot of time for my manual syncs.

When I upgraded I got the new downloads ribbon at the bottom of the screen and no longer had the downloads window. However, for whatever reason I decided to turn the window on. But when I downgraded I realized that this interferes with programs that I had previously set up to download directly to a certain program. Bottom line... I do NOT want the downloads window.

How do you turn off the auto select behavior when working with shape layers?
I am using either of the path selection tools to select only some of the paths on the layer. I have the proper layer targeted. I have the selection too auto select option turned off.
If another layer has a path in that area, that layer becomes auto targeted and I get the wrong path. Turning off the layer is the only way to avoid this but then I have to turn on the layer back on between making my selection and transforming to use the other layer as guide. Is there any way to stop this auto select? Locking the other layer does not stop the auto select, just prevents editing.

As far as i know the move tool options don't have any effect on the path selection tools.
You might try clicking on one of the path points or on the path itself with one of path selection tools and if you want to select multiple points
you can shift click with the Direct Selection Tool or Alt click to select the entire path.

It might help knowing that Apple uses the term "Versions" instead of AutoSave. I have not yet found how to turn it off, but in the meantime, here's how to delete "Previous Versions":
Do one of the following:
If you have unsaved changes in a document, choose File > Revert To, and then click Previous Save.
Hold the pointer to the right of the document title, click the downward-facing arrow, and then choose Browse All Versions from the pop-up menu.
Click a gray tick mark along the timeline on the right to display various versions of your document.
Do one of the following:
To restore your document to the state of a particular version, display that version, and then click Restore.
To delete the displayed older version, hold the pointer to the right of its title, click the downward-facing arrow, and then choose Delete This Version. To delete all older versions, press the Option key while holding the pointer to the right of the older version’s title, click the arrow, and then choose Delete Old Versions.
