How do I turn off zoom

I turned on the Zoom feature, and now everything is BIG. I cannot get back to settings to turn it off.

Double tap the screen with three fingers to get out of zoom. You should then be able to navigate around your settings to turn the zoom feature off it is annoying you.

I tried looking in the preferences panel and googleing it- didn't work-
Somebody was talking about preferences->experimental features - i didn't find such tab in preferences

Same problem here, but it doesn't matter what preview I use (CPU or GPU), both have the scrubby zoom.
I found the solution in the "Preferences/GPU Performance": disable the function " Enable Animated Zoom".
When this option is not cheked, then the scrubby zoom is off.

I tend to select things from left to right and every time I am moving in a downward right diagonal motion during lasso selection I am missing a clear view and I am tending to have a more sloppy selection. All this does is slow me down since I need to go back and hit those areas again. The big arrowhead just get's in the way. The original lasso tool with the thin line and small active point at it's lower left was far better for me.
I don't like turning the cursors to precise because I like to see the active tool icon where my cursor is and as the icon changes as I hold modifier keys down. If I am forced to get comfortable with using pricise cursors I guess I will, but man, I've never had to do this in my 15 years of photoshop use...
I would absolutely LOVE to find a way to get the old lasso icon -- without the arrowhead above it.
Is there any chance this option could be inlcuded in cursor preferences? I'd give much thanks, Adobe.

It's called Ken-Burns effect.
Click on one photo in Project.
Then You see a small cogg wheel like symbol
- click on it and a menu opens where at bottom You can
- select Crop/Ken-Burns/Rotation - select it
Now in Viewer/Canvas at top set Size (Adjusted) from Adjust/Crop/Ken Burns menu - now the picture will show in full and no zoom.
As You see - there is a linguistic barrier when not having an English version of iM.

I am having same problem. I know how to get out of zoom by tapping 3 fingers or home screen 3 times. When I go into setting, I turn off zoom button and it automatically flips back on. It's very frustrating.

How do I turn off the "dynamic trim mode"? I hate it, hate it, hate it. For those that love it... great. I am glad you do, keep working. I tried to adapt, but it just isn't worth the hassle. For me, I want it gone forever. Too much zooming, no simple ripple delete.
Again, if you love it, great! I want to turn it off, how about me adobe? I am so ready to move back to CS5.

It sounds like you wish to have the Final Cut Pro behavior, where the cursor that is chosen will appear over the edit, regardless of how the edit is selected. Note that here you must click to select the edit with the proper trim type before you drag the tool.
In Premiere Pro, the cursor will not change to the selected tool unless the edit is selected with the corresponding trim type. If you want to click and drag the trim tools as you did with Final Cut Pro, yes, you must deselect the selected edit point first.

To disable that feature it will depend on whether or not you sync everything in the cloud using Apple's iCloud, OR if you both use the same desktop/laptop computer with iTunes. I think this is really a Leopard question because it involves setting up 2 monitors in System Preferences within OSX. 1) I have a wide screen TV connected to my iMac (Intel White Late 2006) through the Mini-DVI port and a separate audio cable. This connection works fine. 2) The purpose of the TV screen is only to watch DVDs using the DVD player and iDVD in my iMac. 3) In System Preferences->Displays->Arrangement, both my computer monitor and the TV screen appear as separate monitors. I have the setting to mirror each other. With this setting, the DVD movie plays on both the iMac computer screen and on the TV screen. 4) FINALLY, MY QUESTION: When watching a DVD on the TV screen, I would like to turn off the monitor in my iMac so that the screen is dark (in sleep mode to save power, etc.); I want only the TV screen to display the movie. How do I turn off only the iMac screen? Thank you. Dale

That's impossible. It can only be done on a laptop but not on an iMac.
