How do I turn on the Mail Drop feature?

I followed the information on the help menu for Mail .....preferences..accounts.....select my account.....click advanced....select "Send large attachments using Mail Drop"....
The last part on attachments did not appear.....I have the latest OS X Yosemite......What am I doing wrong?

The is no way to prevent someone for setting a screen-lock passocde on an iPod.
To turn of an existing screen-lock passcode go to Settings>General>Passcode-lock and turn it off. yo have to enter the passcode to turn it off.

'Never' can be removed so as to protect a company's potentially sensitive email - they may not want the iPad being left/stolen with the emails on it accessible. If you remove the account the Never option will probably reappear

If you press the Home button and open Security, you can change "Auto Lock Device" to "Never". Does that do what you want?

You mean the passcode lock, or just the generic lock that requires no passcode?
For passcode lock, go Settings > General > Passcode Lock, enter your passcode, and then disable the feature.
For normal screen lock, go to Settings > General > Auto-Lock, and set it to 'Never'.
Now your iPhone will only screen lock when you press the 'Sleep/Wake' button.

I just updated to version 19.0.2 (I'm not sure what version I had before) but the bookmarks icon doesn't have the little arrow on it and there is no drop-down below it (on the right side of the screen) when I click on it; the whole sidebar just opens on the left side. how do I get the direct drop-down back?

My Mom has tremors and when she uses her iPhone and taps to select, the way she hits the keyboard causes the copy selection to appear. It is not an issue with her phone because it does not do this for me. I would like to shut off the double tap feature. I have already tried Settings/General/Accessibility/Home speed typing = slowest.

The editing menu doesn't come up when you double tap. It comes up when you press and hold. It can't be turned off.

How do I turn off the window maximizing feature when I click the top window frame?

Clicking on the top window frame causes Firefox to maximize. This is the only program I have that does this, so I am constantly doing this accidentally. It causes me no end of annoyance, having to minimize the Firefox window every time to see the other window I am using at the same time. Is there a way of turning this "feature" off? I have looked through all controls tabs I can find, and the help files on the Firefox website, and can find no answers to this.

Unintended consequences ... my favorite kind! New information - this appears to be a Windows issue - sorry Mozilla. Another app (Word) just started doing the same thing (previously only observed with Firefox). If the app is too close to the top of screen, and you select it, and slightly move it, it maximizes. I heard this is standard in Windows 7, but I am using XP. This is becoming typical of the annoying hubris of Microsoft that will likely make my next OS Linux. I am not blind, and in need of Microsoft making a single window maximally readable, especially at the expense of all the other windows. If I wanted my computer to make all of my decisions for me, I would have stuck with Apple!

When I enter my online banking site, I go to login and my ID and Pin number automatically is filled in, so anyone who uses my computer can just go to the website and get into my account. I would rather have the option to fill in the information each time. Is there a procedure to turn that fill in feature off?

Remove a saved password here: Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
You can disable the password manager or set a master password to prevent others from using stored passwords.

How can I turn off the share link feature from the 'open link' menu?

Longpressing a link in firefox opens a menu.
I want to remove the "share link" thing from this menu, as that is something I'd NEVER do.
It's highly intrusive and gets in the way with it's "prime" position at the top of the list.
Couldn't find any flag in about:config or anywhere. Going to take a look at google-chrome now, see if that thing is better. I'll miss adblock.

It might help knowing that Apple uses the term "Versions" instead of AutoSave. I have not yet found how to turn it off, but in the meantime, here's how to delete "Previous Versions":
Do one of the following:
If you have unsaved changes in a document, choose File > Revert To, and then click Previous Save.
Hold the pointer to the right of the document title, click the downward-facing arrow, and then choose Browse All Versions from the pop-up menu.
Click a gray tick mark along the timeline on the right to display various versions of your document.
Do one of the following:
To restore your document to the state of a particular version, display that version, and then click Restore.
To delete the displayed older version, hold the pointer to the right of its title, click the downward-facing arrow, and then choose Delete This Version. How can I turn off the autocomplete / autofill function in Mail (Mail 7.2)? I know how to remove email addresses from the 'Previous recipient' list, but I simply want to deactivate the autocomplete function for email addresses entirely.
You used to be able to do this via Mail - Preferences - Composing, but I upgraded to Mavericks today, and the option to deactivate the autocomplete funtion for email addresses is no longer there.
Does anyone know where to find it?

What you are describing is a feature called "word completion", provided by the Cocoa text engine, and hence used by apps which rely on it, including iWork, TextEdit, and others. Usually Escape would make me exit the text box
Is there any chance you mis-remember? The Keynote shortcut for exiting text editing and selecting the text box is ⌘↩ (command-return).
