How do I turn Spaces and Expose off?
Can anybody tell me how I can turn off Spaces and/or Expose? I find them intrusive and unnecessary to my style of using Mac and I'm getting a bit frustrated when it "swoops" into view every time I take a little pressure off my mouse.

Spaces is easily turned off by going to System Preferences and clicking on the Exposè and Spaces section:
Click on the Spaces tab and uncheck the box next to "Enable Spaces."

It sounds like you might have some unusual settings selected in those preferences panes? The defaults for the Exposè features are function keys (e.g. F9, F10, F11, etc.), not anything involving pressure on your mouse.
If you want to use Exposè but don't want it to be so easily invoked, choose options in those dropdown menus that aren't easily clicked by mistake.

In my business it is critical that I be able to enter numbers in the format I choose. I want to type "0800" or "20.00"; Pages automatically "corrects" the entries to: "800" and "20." ! How can I turn this automatic correcting OFF? I am a relatively new user of Pages and cannot find a means of turning the autocorrect OFF.or of setting the number formatting rules.
Pages v5.5.2 does not change 0800, or 20.00 when entered as body text for me. There is nothing in substitution, or Pages preferences settings that can effect these values.
However, when typed in a Pages table cell with the wrong data format, mischief does occur. In order to preserve 0800, select the Cell tab on the format panel, and set the cell data format to Text, or a custom data format. To preserve 20.00, you must set that cell data format to either Automatic with 2 decimals, or Number with 2 decimals. -

Go to Settings-Sounds-Text Tone and change to None. You're referring to the sound when posting a message to someone else, correct? The only issue is if you set to none, you will not hear the incoming either.

Click on the Time Capsule icon, then click Edit
Click the Wireless tab at the top of screen
Remove the check mark next to Enable Guest Network
Click Update to save the new settings and the Time Capsule will restart in 30 seconds
If your Mac is running Leopard or Snow Leopard.....

Click the Guest Network tab

I accidently pressed the home button, sleep/wake up button and the up volume button on my ipod touch 4 gen and it turned on and then off and wont turn on. can someone please help?

Is you Gmail address set up in your iCloud account as the primary? Then nothing to do.

Or just configure iCloud on your phone or your Mac.
On the Mac, iCloud System Prefs, sign in and check the Mail checkbox. -
