How do I uninstall Broadband Tuner?

After BroadBand Tuner I had to force quit and restart the Mac.
Is there a way to manually uninstall Broadband Tuner from the Terminal?
The BroadBandTunerUninstaller.pkg doesn't work.

launch it and you get this

Why? It comes with an uninstaller.

How can I open the Broadband Tuner 1.0 app. Help please.

I have a 27" iMac which does not have even a year old and it is slow when I'm in the internet. I have fios 75dw/35up and I'm getting 7dw/7up. When I called tech suport they told me to download Broadband Tuner 1.0. I downloaded and installed it but I can't find the application. Does any body have an idea how to open that? Can any body help me here please?.

Broadband tuner has locked out my Internet and can't uninstall.

I installed BroadbandTuner per my ISP suggestion. Saw that it would be easily uninstalled if needed. Since I installed it I have no Internet access. I can't find any sign of an uninstaller for it. Tried several restarts and no change. Tried a Time Machine restore and it encounters an error and stops. I have seen other posts on resetting the changes manually, but this is my first Mac and I have no idea where to start on that. I know I'm not the only person to have problems with this app, so I hope someone can offer a solution.

Whew, when you run the Installer again it should have an unistall feature, but I guess that may not work...

Apple Broadband Tuner won't install.

I've tried three different download sites. Using Safari.

Mac Mini, Mavericks,
OS X 10.9.1 (13B42)
1-yr old system
2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
I did a Verizon speed test while online, in "MyVerizon". I'm in New York City, Manhattan. DSL service. FiOS not available.

I'm much more comfortable working with pc's, using a command window and entering commands. Even though my first computer was the original 1984 Mac, and still like Mac's, for my business back in the 1980's, I had to go pc, and my learning curve is stuck there. The Mac Terminal interface and commands are totally foreign to me, so if someone could "hold my hand" and walk me through how to make the changes, I'd be much obliged!
And I'm really talking about telling me, keystroke-by-mouse-click, how to do this!

I uninstalled i-tunes 8 on Windows XP and installed an old version (7) by following your suggestion. That part worked fine but I couldn't retrieve my music because I got the message that it was in a higher version and would not work on the older version. Thanks for the suggestion -- it was worth a try but I still am stuck. I can't play files from my library and get an error message when I try to get into the i-tunes store. I, too, am desperate! Any other suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks.

it depends how you uninstall it. If you delete the whole iTunes directory in ~/Music containing your music and audiobooks, then yes, your files will be removed.

Optimize iMac for FIOS with Apple Broadband Tuner

I am a recent Mac convert and am trying to optimize my Apple settings for an iMac 27" for Verizon FIOS, I downloaded the Apple Broadband tuner as suggested by Verizon, but do not know how to use it to optimize my settings.

You simply double click on broadband tuner and it sets your sysctl variables to the values shown. I think these buffer values may be outdated at this point.

Has anyone used Apples Broadband Tuner? It was recommended to me by a Verizon technician that was out to replace a FIOS router for me. Since I installed it I have had nothing but problems with the internet. It says there is an uninstaller with it but I am unable to locate it. I try to reinstall using the custom option, it shows the uninstaller but will not allow me to select the check box to install that piece.

I had the same advice today from Verizon
so i downloaded the broadband tuner.
It said the install was successful but i can not find the application anywhere.
Then i tried to install again and used the custom install and down loaded also the UNinstall.
After all that i tried to uninstall ....but it said my settings had not been changed !!!!
Does any one know where the application is hiding ???
It is not in Applications or Utilities....i also looked in preferences with no luck.
I ran a search and it did not come up either.
I am working wireless with the Verizon supplied FIOS router.
On this PowerBook i can not get a download speed faster than 3.4 download
with my wifes PowerBook Intel Core Duo 2.4GHz i get a speed of 4.7 download
without any modifications
My Verizon FIOS is supposed to be 5 download and 2 upload.
On both PowerBooks the upload is working at 1.8
Both PowerBooks are running OSX 10.4.11
Any help would be appreciated.

HT4759 How to Completely Uninstall iCloud? Office 2007 Save As Crashes

I can no longer use "Save As" in Office 2007 since I enabled ICloud. Word and Excel Crash. And Outlook does not seem to be about to send more than one email at a time. I have to select the Send/Receive button right after I create a new email. If I wait and create a second email, the first email in the outbox changes status from ready to send to cannot send. And even if I open it and try to send it, it will not send. I have to re-create it.
I want to know how to thoroughly uninstall ICloud. Other posters on Microsoft (Girish M) and Apple (SkinnyNick) have indicated that the problem is related to ICloud. And I can confirm that I started having problems right after enabling ICloud. Here are the references:

I spent a lot of time trying to trouble shoot this problem. I ran the Office install to repair. This did not work. I uninstalled all Office 2007 related products. I then manually purged all directories relating to office including the Common Shared Directories. Then, I ran Microsoft's FixIt to uninstall Office to make sure everything was uninstalled. Then, I reinstalled Office 2007 and it still failed. I thought about installing Office 2010, but the second post (above SkinnyNick) indicates that this would not work.
So, I am looking for a way to uninstall iCloud including that parts that is causing this problem. Now, the second post (above) from
SkinnyNick) says that he tried to uninstall iCloud but this did not fix the problem. He finally reconfigured iCloud by de-selecting Outlook, but I would rather completely remove iCloud.
Can anyone provide instructions on how to completely remove iCloud so that my Office 2007 products will function again using Save As?

As a Windows Application Developer who has more than 28 years of professional development experience, I can tell you that anything is possible in terms of how developers implement their applications. I have seen just about everything under the sun, and it would not surprise me if Apple's iCloud not only places files in key Windows directories, but it may use configuration information in a file as opposed to the Window Registry to control how their application behaves. And this would prevent “System Restore" from fixing the problem. Configuration information can be stored in many places. And, even if you do use the Windows Registry to control how your application works, you can key off of new files (like a user profile file) to control how your application to behaves. How do I uninstall Edge Reflow CC?

I recently downloaded the app because I was curious about using it. Now I'm having issues on my print files (end of file) and the stability of Photoshop CC when I do things like adding layer masks and vector masks. When I look at the dump for output it's indicating that I'm using an unsupported layer type due to Reflow.
How can I uninstall Edge Reflow CC? I have an uninstaller for Edge Animate CC, but not one for Edge Reflow CC.

I said dump, I meant log. I didn't get a screenshot of the message. It said something to the effect of Generator had and error and close Photoshop. When I tried to save my files I received unexpected end of file encountered upon reopening the files upon restarting Photoshop. The first time I received a message was on creation of a layer mask from a vector path. The second time was in a different file, I was converting the vector path to a vector mask. Luckily I saved the original file. It's just a jpg. I was eventually able to edit the file (3 attempts).
