How do I uninstall CS5 in Windows 7
I just purchased CS6 and installed it -- everything works. But I also have CS5 -- Windows 7 Professional 64-bit -- How do I install CS5? CS5 does not appear in the Control Panel "Programs" listing.
Is there an "uninstaller" somewhere??
Thank you -- however, it was installed and working BUT even though I "unhid" all files, Windows 7 still not report it -- no idea why.
It doesn't even report CS6.
But, as you suggested, the Cleaner Tool -- not for the "Cloud" did the uninstall. I will have to go into the Registry and remove any remnants.

Please perform a clean install of modern Skype.
Open Powershell as an Administrator
type Get-AppxPackage –AllUsers
You will see the list of all of the apps on your computer. Look for Microsoft.SkypeApp in this list.
Next, type Remove-AppxPackage FullPackageName
Replace "FullPackageName" (i.e. Microsoft.SkypeApp_1.3.0.112_x86__kzf8qxf38zg5c)
The full command look like this.
Remove-AppxPackage C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.SkypeApp_1.3.0.112_x86__kzf8qxf38zg5c
Note that the name of the folder "Microsoft.SkypeApp_1.3.0.112_x86__kzf8qxf38zg5c" may different in your case. Use Get-AppxPackage command to see the exact path >> Select the path then right click to copy the selection to clipboard >> Use it in the Remove-AppxPackage command.
They are now uninstalled, and you can now reinstall them from the store.
Press WinKey + R to open the Run window
WinKey (the button is located between the left Ctrl and Alt with the Windows logo)
type: ms-windows-store: and press Enter
Right Click on store screen then select Your Apps and install modern Skype.

How do I exchange CS5.5 Windows version for a Mac version?
I bought the downloadable online student version of Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 (windows version) over 2 years ago. I just bought a Mac and would like to re-install CS but according to Adobe website, I need to exchange the windows version for mac version but since I don't have the most current version of CS (CS6?) I actually have to purchase an upgrade to CS6 first in order to exchange the windows version for mac. Does anyone know how to do this and how much it is going to cost? I found instructions online that led me to a form that was a little vague and confusing so if anyone knows another way to go about doing this let me know! Also, I don't think my membership allows me the privilege of actually speaking to someone in customer service.

I recently got CS6. But I left CS5 in my computer as a backup. Now I want to uninstall CS5 because I believe CS5 is the reason my CS6 programs keep crashing on me without offering to save my work prior to crashing.

CYou don't. The rest is unfounded speculation. unisntall both version, run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, reinstall only CS6.

I downloaded a trial version of both Photoshop and InDesign CS5 and don't have room for either on my computer right now, though I might buy them some time in the future. But I need them off of my computer, yet every time I click "uninstall" nothing happens. I successfully uninstalled Photoshop yesterday, but had to system restore so it's back on my computer. Photoshop CS5 Extended suddenly stopped recognizing my NVIDIA 3D card (NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800M). No 3D graphics will work in Photoshop. An Adobe online tech worked with me on it for about an hour. We concluded that I would go try to update the NVIDIA driver. The NVIDIA website is frustrating. The boxes to input my card model and system do not work.
Nawang uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop (my question below was about how to do that, but he did it for me and that did not help.)
My card is 3D capable. I used Repousse 3D effect two days ago and it worked fine. Now it is not working, all 3D controls are grayed out.

Maybe what you are in fact trying to do is to set Internet Explorer (IE) as the default browser again, so that for instance the IE icons appear on some files and links. You can do that from IE

Windows 8.1 Preview cannot be uninstalled. However, if what you want is to remove Windows completely, start up in OS X, open Boot Camp Assistant (in /Applications/Utilities) and follow the steps to remove the Windows partition.

How can I diagnose an intermittent crash when saving in Photoshop CS5 in Windows 7 (64bit)?

I have been experiencing an intermittent crash of Photoshop CS5 in Windows 7 when saving. I cannot effectively reproduce the problem and am having difficulty diagnosing the cause of the it. I have updated Photoshop to 12.0.4.0 and still experience the crash. Can someone offer advice as to how to resolve this issue? It is troublesome since I lose all my work without any means of recovery when it happens.

AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4GHz
8GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 5450
Software:
Windows 7 Home Premium Version 6.1 (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)

Thanks for the advice. Here is what I have done so far which has not alleviated the crashes while saving:
Only run the application as administrator
Clear the preferences file
Disabled virus checking on files I am using
Disabled virus checking on file writes (just in case the above was not enough)
Looking at the Event Viewer, these are 3 events logged around the time of the crash (I created a view to include all events within 10 minutes of the crash). Details below (pardon the xml - it is how the event is copied out):

IMHO Windows would be the place to start.
Why do you want to load CS5 for Windows?
Adobe does produce a version of CS5 that runs on OS X so that it would not be necessary for you to have to screw around with Windows. Personally that would be the way to go and avoid the hassles of Windows.

After downloading latest Reader software (11) on my Mac (OS10.7.5) I cannot print pdf files on either of my two printers. I suspect corrupt software. How do I uninstall and reinstall the software? Adobe's on-line instructions are only for Window devices.
You can just drag the file to the trash. If you want you can remove the pdf plug-in from the internet-plug in folder, but that should not be necessary to correct your problem.
