How do I uninstall FCP X Trial (I want to purchase and re-install "properly")?

I installed the FCP X Trial app and have decided to purchase and go forward with FCP X, but have some questions:
I see from the Apple FCP installation best practices document (HT4722) that it's not advisable to install along with Studio (instructions I did not follow in my hasty installation the Trial version) and I know Larry Jordan has some alternative views on FCP X installation which sound good to me, so I think I'd really like to carefully remove (unistall) the Trial version without damaging my current Studio installation (which I want to retain). I will then proceed with a carful installation fo the purchased X apps (and have not yet completely decided on which path I will take with that.
So how do I uninstall?
And does anyone here have any thoughts on the best way to install X given that:
1. I will continue using both X and Studio (but of course won't run them at the same time). I simply cannot divorce myself from Studio completely, but want to start using X in certain projects that are conducive to it.
2. I do NOT wish to do any partitioning (hate partitions).

Unlike the old FCP 7 there is no mystery about uninstalling FCP X.
Simply drag the application to the trash and delete it.
To install FCP X and FCS on the same disk (and partition) read the last 2 sections of this Apple Fact Sheet. (You didn't read far enough through it).

Which method you use depends on which item you wish to have put in its own folder.
Both methods work perfectly.
Just to avoid any misunderstanding these are the titles of the 2 pertinent sections:-
Install Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5, or Compressor 4 on the same disk as Final Cut Studio (2009)
Restore the Final Cut Studio (2009) applications to their original location

If the project has been opened and saved in FCP7 you will not be able to open it in FCP6. You need an XML export from FCP7 to be able to recover the project.

You're welcome. And CDMA still exists! However, the newer devices for Verizon, from the iPhone 5 and above, come with a GSM slot and it is unlocked from the beginning to use with other GSM networks. If you do not want to return the phone for a refund, Apple has a recycling program, but you don't get much for it. You would be better to sell it outright as I said. Be careful though as you purchase newer phones on the internet, as they could be locked with Activation lock and you would need to contact the original owner to get the device unlocked, and if you read much here, that can be next to impossible to do sometimes, and Apple will not help. How Can You Tell if a Song You WANT to Purchase can be a Ringtone?

Sorry, I would have posted this in the iTunes folder, but it's not allowing me to post there for some reason.
Anyways, does anyone know how you can tell if a song you WANT to purchase is available as a ringtone? I know that if you already have purchased songs then your library will have a ringtone column which let's you know if the song is available as a ringtone. What I specifically want to know is if there is any way to find out if a song you WANT to purchase is availble as ringtone BEFORE you purchase it. I have all appropriate ringtone boxes checked off in preferences and "view preferences." However, when I go to the iTunes store, none of the songs in the store have any information on whether or not they are available as ringtones. I don't want to buy a song, especially if I'm just getting it for ringtone purposes, and then find out that it's not available as a ringtone.
And yes, I have the latest version of iTunes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. With the purchase of my iPhone I am a first time user of iTunes (I used to use only Rhapsody and Napster). So far iTunes has been a challenge to use. I'm trying to get used to it, but it's difficult. And it seems like basic information, such as if a song is available as a ringtone before purchase, is not easily forthcoming.

Okay, I don't know why, but the bell was not showing on the iTunes store. I re-checked "ringtones" on the view preferences and reloaded iTunes and now the bell column is there. Thanks to the both of you.
BTW, there aren't very many songs available for rintones are there? I really miss Cingular's media.net. There's no reason why we shouldn't be able to access that. Media.net has way more options for ringtones then iTunes.

craigslist is completely un-vetted. You can use it if you like. As far as I'm concerned, it's the wild-west of the Internet. Anything goes, no-one is held accountable. Sure, you can meet someone in broad daylight in a public place... no garauntee that the phone isn't jailbroken, or hacked, or stolen. At the moment, stolen only matters if it's a CDMA phone, provided you don't mind being charged with receiving stolen property if it gets traced to you.
Hopefully, that will change with the new stolen phone registry that's in the works. Still wouldn't do business on craigslist, though. Maybe I'm just old and crotchety, but I can tell you for sure that no-one there will rip me off.

I have had FCP since they released the universal version. It has worked perfectly on my computer. I had an external harddrive connected to my computer. It recently stopped working and I had to return it and received a new one. Since I disconnected the hard drive, FCP also started to not work. Every time I would try to open FCP it would begin to open, the icon would bounce, and then it would close. I went to the apple store (waste of time) and they told me to uninstall FCP and reinstall it. Well, I thought that this would be an easy task. I attempted to just trash the entire FCP Studio and reinstall it, but every time I do, all the other programs except FCP reinstall...FCP just has a choice to UPGRADE it and even when I do that now I can't even get FCP to begin to open. I'm totally confused. How do I get FCP to work again on my system? ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

I installed iWork '08 Trial to test the apps.
I would like to cleanly, completely uninstall iWork '08 Trial. The installer doesn't have an uninstall option.
What's the Apple-recommended process.
Examination with Pacifist shows that there are items that may interfere with iLife '08 if I remove them. (iLifeMediaBrowser, GraphicsAppSupport, ImageKit_Tiger).

There is no need to remove the trial of iWork to install the retail version. All you need to do is click "Buy" on the trial & enter your serial number to convert it to a "non-expiring" version. There is no difference in the content of the trial or the boxed versions.
If you're wanting to remove the iWork trial because you have decided you don't want iWork (as I read the OP's post), dragging the iWork '08 folder to the Trash is a start. Then do a Spotlight search for "iWork" to find the .plist files to delete.

I love change, and I love Firefox. That said, I simply cannot stand Firefox 4. I HATE it. It has robbed me of all kinds of flexibility and customization and until that changes, I have absolutely NO INTENTION of using Firefox 4 on any of my Macs.
