I have been using Google Drive to share files with friends and family but this week began getting a pop-up that I need to upgrade my Google Drive software.
I downloaded the file from Google but when I try to install/replace, I get the following two messages:
The operation can’t be completed because the item “Google Drive” is in use.
The operation can’t be completed because a required item is in use.
My browser is closed so I don't know why it appears that the software is in use.
So, I checked this forum and found that because of some problems with Google Drive and OS X, I need to "uninstall" my current Google Drive application but I don't know how to do that.
Can someone please tell me, step-by-step, how to completely uninstall this software so that I can reload the newer version?

Open Google Drive window. Click On "Settings" at top of window. Select move to trash. Then Empty Trash.

I found the answer just after posted this. Thanks to a user named CloudWalker. Solution is to go in AppStore, View Account under "Store" Menu and unhide any purchases.

You should at least install the latest Firefox 3.6.28 version for your Mac OS X 10.4 PPC computer instead of the current Firefox 3.6.18 version.

OK and when I run desktop manager then what do I do? There are no instructions after this setup with my mobile carrier, they just leave me hanging. Also, is my phone going to be wiped or will it just update the OS? I don't want to lose all my settings that took me hours to setup on this thing and have to redo everything all over again. Backup? I don't understand how to do that either (again all of this is new to me). I don't have a second phone where I can call T-Mobile on the phone and have them walk me through it, I only have my cell that's it. Fat Cow website is saying the editing funtion problems I am having in editing my website is due to the Fire Fox brouser. What can I do to resolve this issue.

I have had a website, advancedesdservices.com, for several years now and used their editor to completed it, Site Deluxe. Explorer would not let me open the Site Deluxe tool within Fat Cow and they suggested I load an advanced Browser such as Fir Fox. I did and it allowed me to open the tool. However with Fire Fox the editing tools in Site Deluxe do not function such as cut, paste, spell check. The Fire Fox spell check identifies miss spellings but do not allow replacement word suggestions. Fat Cow is stating that it must be an issue with Fire Fox and suggested I ask you or load another Browser. Any suggestions??
