How do I uninstall Firefox update and make my Norton toolbar work again?

Norton has all of my passwords saved in the toolbar, and now I can access any of them! How do I uninstall Firefox 17 and get back to 16 so that my toolbar works again? (I already ran the Norton Live Update and it did not fix the problem.)

I already ran the Norton Live update and restarted with no success. I have Norton Security Suite, not Norton 360. The only way I have been able to make this work in the past is to stay 2 or 3 versions behind on Firefox.

I installed firefox 4 to play applications in Face Book. It keeps crashing. I never had this problem with firefox 3.6.13. I can't get any help why firefox 4 keeps crashing in the middle of the games, this happens constantly. The Box containing "This happened" I put Every time Firefox opened because the ones do not apply. But it doesn't happen everytime firefox opens, just when I'm playing in my games in Face Book, sometimes as soon as I load a game, sometimes in the of the game, and mostly when I visit neighbors.

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

Your problem is caused by the Ask Toolbar which you have installed. There are compatibility issues between Ask and Firefox at the moment.

I have a PC and a laptop. Both OS Windows 7. Both Firefox 18.0.1. Norton Toolbar works on laptop not on PC! Any ideas?
