I have owned my iPad Mini for about 2 months now, and the charger has stopped working. It sometimes works on my MacBook Air, but often I get a popup on my computer saying, "To prevent damaging your computer, the USB device drawing too much power has been disabled. Other devices may have also been disabled. When you disconnect the device drawing too much power, your other USB devices will be enabled again." I have tried plugging my iPad into a wall charger, but it still does not charge. There is a small hole and the first part of the cable from the iPad is a bit twisted. Is there any way of fixing this, or do I have to buy another?Computer USB ports often do not provide enough power to charge an iPad efficiently. The best way to charge an iPad is with the charger that came with the iPad.
Sounds like your cable is damaged too and needs to be replaced. My suggestion would be to buy two so that you have a backup. If your iPad has a lightning connector be sure to buy a name brand cable, either Apple or another well known brand. Do not buy cheap knockoff cables on eBay and they may not be certified to work with an iPad and you'll get an error message about that when you try to use them. -
I have a MacBook Pro 13inch 2.4GHz (Intel Core 2 Duo, 4Gb RAM, 250Gb HDD, NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics, SD card slot, up to 10 hour battery life) bought in October 2010. The charger has been playing up for a while now - the light going out but coming back on when I move the cable a bit - faulty connection it seems. It has now stopped working at all.
Apple UK charge a whopping £65 for a replacement - and the reviews are AWFUL for it!
I need to know which one I need - 45w, 60w and 80w are listed - can someone tell me please? If I'm going to pay this price I want to make sure I get the right one!
Also, is a genuine Apple one available on Amazon UK, does anyone know please?

I've read here on Apple's site that the 85W version will work, as you say, and that it would run cooler with a 13" Macbook - I have a 13" MBP of course but assume this would be the same with mine. I wonder if running cooler is a good thing (it sounds as if it is) and it would be better for me to get the 85W version than the 60W one?
Then I have to decide whether to pay the (extortionate as it seems to me, though I may be wrong) £65 from Apple (bearing in mind the rotten reviews here of the Apple product), or risk a cheaper alternative from Amazon UK, at around £20 (also with various rotten reviews)... Any suggestions? Please? :-) -

Look in Task manager and if you have other adobe products installed make sure they are not running.
Look in msconfig and turn off any items that do not need to be running during computer start up.
Run this CS4 cleaner utility. you will have a choice of level 1 or 2. Type in 3 and run it.

Run defrag before and after install.
Turn off windwos defender, any anti-virus running and ensure your connected to the internet before install starts.
When you put the disk in the drive and it wants to run, don't run it. Close out and go to computer and right click on the DVD drive and explore. There is a CS4 folder so open that and find the .exe folder. Right click on that folder and chose run as admin.
The set up will start and will take a few to run its course. During the install the bar will look like it is hanging around 90 percent. This is normal so let it finish. May hang for 5 to 10 mins.
After install is finished remove disk and reboot.
Now the first time you run PS CS4 you need to run as Admin. Right click on the icon in the start area. Choose properties, Compatibility and check run as Admin and close out. Then click on PS to start and then update. -

New Adobe Photoshop elements 11-can not share pictures. I do use AOL email. Get error of "Elements 11 Organ. has stopped working, I have looked into sharing tab and my only option is Adobe email settings. Sounds to me like you may have gotten a machine with hardware issues, but it's hard to say. It will shut down if it gets too hot, but that's not a normal occurrence. I have never seen a MacBook Pro shut down due to heat, even after lengthy 3D gaming sessions where the fans are running fast and the bottom of the machine is unpleasant to touch.
First thing I would try to do is reset the SMC. If that doesn't help, erase the hard drive and reinstall the system from scratch, which you should always do with a used machine anyway.
If a fresh system doesn't help, you'll need to get it checked out by Apple.

For further assistance, I will need to know the following information:
The version number of the Mac Operating Systems. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
If the printer is connected, Wireless, or USB.
If the printer is able to make copies. Copy Text or Mixed Documents.
If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
If there are any error messages on the printer's display panel.
In the meantime, please take a look through this guide, 'Printer is offline' Message Displays on the Computer and the Printer Does Not Print: Mac OS X, and let me know what happens!
