If you are not able to uninstall the software in the usual way from Programs and Features, you could try a third party uninstaller such as the application detailed below.
Download and install the free version of Revo Uninstaller from the link below.
http://www.revouninstaller.com/download-freeware-version.php
Run revo and see if this detects the installation. If it does, right click on the icon of the program you wish to remove and select Uninstall. During the process you may be asked to delete registry entries, just select all and then click delete. Do the same for any left-over files and folders. Once the uninstall has completed, restart the notebook.

Running Windows 7 Home Premium 32-64bit. Hp p6210f. Installed SIIG USB 2.0 video capture device. Program installed but did not work. Downloaded updated driver to my desktop. The following icons appeared on my desktop: Applications, DirectX9, Driver,atutorun, autorun,autorun, autorun.tgt and key. Have no idea what to do with these icons. Clicking on Autorun does not work. Reinserted the install CD to try and uninstall program but there was not uninstall listed. Also the program does not show in Add/Remove. The program is shown under Programs X86. I don't understand how to install the driver or how to use this program The program is listed as "Honestech VHS to DVD 3.0 SE". I would just like to get rid of this program. Can anyone tell me how?

Uninstall Bridge CS6 - not listed in programs/control panel

Hi - I have updated my photoshop and bridge to the new Photoshop Creative Cloud. I have successfully uninstalled Photoshop but when I look for Bridge CS6 (64 bit) there is nothing. The new Bridge CC is listed. Any suggestions on how I remove the old program?

Installing PS CS6 also installs Bridge CS6. You can have multiple versions of CS installed on your computer without problem, as long as you have space. You can also multiple versions of PS open and active at the same time if the resources of your computer are sufficient.
However you can have only one version of Bridge open and active at the same time. If you want to switch to an older or newer version you first have to quit the open Bridge and start the other wanted version to use it.
Also they use different Cache libraries so after opening it first have to read the cache (normally a short task) and also caching the new files (depending on amount and file size this can take some time) will start upon opening.

First go to Editor>Help>Deactivate. That's really the only thing you have to do if you've used both of your two installations already. If you want to uninstall PSE, then do it via Control Panel in Windows, or on a Mac use the uninstaller in the PSE folder in Applications.
If you have a version of PSE prior to PSE 8, no need to deactivate unless you bought a serial number for the trial via the Buy It Now button in PSE. Otherwise there's no activation on earlier versions.

Firefox should normally show up in the "Downloads" section of the Applications settings, like other apps. If it's not there, then there must have been a problem during installation. If it appears that Firefox is installed but is not listed in the settings, the only way I know to fix it is to do a "Factory reset" of all data on the phone. Sorry!

Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking (you can't delete any of the Apple built-in apps). well this is strange, but hang with me a sec. Some of these will sound obvious but i have to ask them.
1) Are you 100% sure it's not in your application folder? (I have downloaded stuff and looked for a while without seeing the app RIGHT in front of me).
2) The hard thing to believe is that it is in your launchpad but NOT in your application folder.
3) Try downloding it again....it might find the detect the old version and overwrite it. I have never downloaded an app that did not automatically download to the applications folder, but if this one did, check to see what option it gives you to dowload to by default. That way you can see maybe where it was installed to, and thus find it and delete it. then reinstall to the applications folder.
