How do I unlock my phone from the service provider
Hi I've got an old phone which I got from the apple store as a replacement how do I unlock it form the network? The network says they can't help me cheers

Well, only they can authorize the phone's unlocking, & it they refuse, then there's no way for you to get it officially unlocked.
Apple can't/won't help you.

If you are referring to a lock to a specific cell carrier, so you can use the iPhone with a different carrier, only the cell carrier to whom the phone is locked can authorize unlocking. You will need to contact the carrier.

My son and I both have iphones with the same Apple ID. Since I installed iOS this morning I have started receiving all my sons texts and when I send him a text it is delivered to both of us. How can I remove my phone from the joint Apple ID and remove myself from finding out what he is up to during Freshers week!

No idea what BTFON is or what "service provider" you mean, or what you mean by saying that it "takes over everything". Is this a wireless network that you wish to stop connecting to? If so, open System Preferences, click Network, then select AirPort, then click the Advanced button, then select the AirPort tab. In the list that appears, select BTFON and click the '-' button.

It shouldn't make any difference, but you need to contact Vodaphone which is the only party that can officially unlock an iPhone that was sold as carrier locked with Vodaphone. -

They are stringing you along , only the carrier can sanction the unlocking of an iPhone IF they do as part of their terms and conditions.
Apple act as the carrier's agent by processing the unlock through iTunes no other involvement

Thanks.Try OKC_K_REL_OBJS table. The column JTOT_OBJECT1_CODE contains values 'OKX_ORDERHEADER' or 'OKX_ORDERLINE' and the column RTY_CODE = 'CONTRACTSERVICEORDER'. The column OBJECT1_ID1 should store order HEADER_ID or LINE_ID based on JTOT_OBJECT1_CODE value. Hope this helps.

Hi, I have a problem that I receive lots of Spam messages from my office, I cannot bar the spam text from service provider due to official constrain.
I just want to know if there is any mechanisme where i can bar the message from a specific sender. I know there are some apps like Iblacklist available but we do not find it in any Iphone which is not jailbreak. I was just thinking of developing some code for it.No. You can't. Filtering would have to be done at the server level.

Having a discussion with somebody on another forum. When an update to iOS is released, does your iPhone get it from Apple or from the service provider such as AT&T?
I've heard of Android users having issues because they have to wait for their service provider to release OS updates to their phones but this doesn't seem to be an issue with iPhones, iPads, etc.ONLY from Apple either through iTunes or online update if you have iOS5 or newer
