How do I unlock Photoshop 6?

I just installed the CS6 upgrade, but when I try to launch Photoshop I am told that I need to unlock it through the properties tab in Windows. I went to the properties tab, but I don't see anything there that says lock/unlock.
What am I missing? Thanks.

It refers to the PS swap file. You either have a mundane permissions issue with your hard drives or UAC is acting up. Run as admin, fix your user privileges and file permissions, turn off UAC.

I imagine you already found out how to unlock brushes, but I'll share what worked for me. I had the same issue while trying to create a new brush shape and then edit it. After some poking around I tried selecting the "Brush Tool" icon on the menu to the left side of my work area before trying to edit my brush shape. After selecting the "Brush" icon, the "Brush" and "Brush Presets" became active and the brushes were able to be locked or unlocked. Also, I don't think you are impolite .

Which version of Photoshop Elements are you using?
If you have made changes to a photo, those changes have to be saved before you can use that photo in a slideshow. Where you save it is really up to you.
Do you use the organizer and import all your photos into it? Please note that Elements itself does not keep a copy of your photos - you always have control over where the photos are stored. The elements organizer just saves the links to your photos.
If you have selected a photo in the organizer and then selected edit, the editor will open and you can make your changes. While the photo is open in the editor, it is marked as locked in the organizer. When you have finished editing the photo, save it and the close it in the editor. The lock in the organizer is then released.

go to layers window and select the layer you are trying to unlock, There should be a lock icon next to name of layer, you can drag lock icon to trash can at the bottom of the layer window and layer will be unlocked. There is also a lock icon just above all the layers and you can toggle the layer as locked or unlocked. multiple ways to do the same task. Male sure to the select the correct layer you are trying to unlock. background layer applies as well.

If it's the same machine (same CPU) there should not be any need to activate. The actiovation is tied to your CPU.

Hi Kilted Tim, thank you for your quick response.
Yup, I've had the unlimited plan for about 4-5 years, and I do everything I can to keep from losing it, for obvious reasons.
As you advise, I've been using the iphone in airplane mode with wifi activated which works fine when I am in wifi range. But of course when I'm out and about I want to use my data roaming for internet, maps, skype, whatever so I take it out of airplane mode.
The trouble is that I get incoming calls and am charged international rates even when I dont answer. I havent looked lately but I think AT&T charges me for one minute even for unanswered incoming calls.
Any ideas?

Could you not restore the device to an earlier version?
No, you cannot downgrade your iOS device.
That may mean jailbreaking, I'm not sure.
Jailbreaking is not supported by Apple or this forum.
Or what about replacing the motherboard?
There are no user serviceable parts on an iPhone.

You can't. Sprint phones can be unlocked ONLY for use on non US carriers. They can not be used on any US carrier other than Sprint. If you want to use a different carrier in the US, sell the phone and buy one you can use.

There is no such thing as an unlock code. Sprint may have processed the unlock, and then requested you restore the iPhone using iTunes to complete it. But that's it. There is no code to enter, and nowhere to enter it any way.

If your iPhone is locked to a wireless provider, only that wireless provider
can unlock it. Contact the wireless provider in Hong Kong to see if they
offer unlocking and if you qualify.
If your iPhone is locked to an AppleID that you do not know, return it for

activation can remove the lock. There is no workaround for Activation Lock.
If neither of the above is what you are facing, provide more detail so someone
