How do I unmerge connected paths in Illustrator CS5?

I was wondering if there was a way to 'unmerge' a group of connected paths. The thing is whenever I click on one of the ovals, it selects a whole group of ovals instead of just the one I selected. The problem is that I drew an oval, copied it multiple times until I made a pile out of it, then copied that pile and made other piles. So whenever I click on one of the ovals, it selects the entire pile. Is there a way I can 'unmerge' or ungroup all the paths so I can select just one of the ovals? I'm not doing this so I can copy them again, I'm trying to delete them individually but I really can't.

Right, and that's another problem I'm having. The reason why some strokes are missing is because I used the White Arrow to delete some ovals. But I'm guessing I selected just the stroke of the oval instead of the actual fill path, so it only deleted the strokes and left the fill path alone. Also, the reason why only partial strokes are deleted is because using the White Arrow only allows me to delete anchor points instead of a complete stroke.
So basically that's what it looks like. I selected a stroke using the White Arrow, but it only deleted a partial of the complete stroke. I even tried something else - selecting a stroke with the White Arrow then switching to the Black Arrow to delete it. But still, the results were the same. There's probably another odd thing you could catch from this screenshot that I just noticed as well after zooming in - for some reason, some small sections of the strokes looks like they're 'cracked' or have been cutted up somehow. I'm not sure how that happened, but it seems like that problem exists in the 'fill sections' also.
I'm not sure if you can see it, but to the right of the highlighted selection I clicked on, there exists some grey 'cracked lines' that almost looks like they've been cutted up with a knife or something. It's just like the same problem with the strokes. I'm not sure how it became like that at all. This problem only seems to exist in the [blue highlighted] group of ovals of the first screenshot I posted in this thread. All the other ovals to the right can all be individually selected, and deleted with just one click. The groups of ovals to the left for some reason are different - I have to delete them through cutted up sections of strokes and fill paths, which can practically take forever. This problem seems way too complicated for me to get.

How to turn off descriptive cursor in illustrator CS5.5

How to add scratch disks to adobe illustrator CS5?

I am trying to set up scratch disk on illustrator but my only options are startup for the primary and macintosh hd for the secondary. I have a time machine set up for wireless backups and even tried connecting to it via USB and I still cannot assign it as a scratch disk.I keep getting the warning "cannot complete because not enough memory(RAM). I installed more RAM and now I am trying to set up scratch disks. Anyone know whats up?

What third party software would let me add captions...I need something fairly easy to use.

How do I unlock a swatch on Illustrator CS5?

I opened a PDF in Illustrator and it has 4 Spot color swatches. Two of them will not delete or let me alter them and I need to change them to CMYK. I've tried reopening the document, restarting my computer and copying and pasting everything into a new document. Nothing has worked for me. I've also tried selecting everything, and going to Edit > Edit Colors > Convert to CMYK ... and then making a new color group (with global checked.) Still won't let me edit the two problem swatches. I then went to "Select all unused" from the swatch panel (thinking they would at least get selected because all of the colors should link to my new global color group) and the two problem swatches did NOT get selected. I've tried deleting all the links (thinking maybe the spot color was tucked in an eps file or something.) No objects are locked and none of the layers are locked.
Any help would be greatly apprectiated!!

What happens if you convert the colors to CMYK in Acrobat before opening the file in Illustrator?
Even after all your edits, are you actually seeing a color color when you use the Seperations Preview in Illustrator? Is your Document Info Palette telling you there are Spot Color objects?

Is this your own OS X Server system on your own network, or is this some other server within some larger organization?
You're posting this in the OS X Server forum, which is a software package that allows OS X systems to provide web-based and many other services; to become servers.
If it's your OS X Server on your network, then the network and DNS configurations are suspect, or the server is somehow malfunctioning or misconfigured. This is unfortunately fairly common, as some folks do try to avoid setting up DNS services.
If it's a larger organization and somebody else is managing the server and the network, then you'll probably need to contact the IT folks for assistance; to learn the network setup and DNS requirements, and if there's a problem with the server itself.
The basic web URL "hyper link IP address path" — without using DNS — usually looks something the following, where you'll need to replace 10.20.30.40 with the IP address of your server:

How to set "Image Map" attribute to "Polygon" via javascript in Illustrator CS5

Ok, so I have this little script I've written that I want to use to go through a bunch of paths in a document and give each path a url for use in an image map. I want each link to be a Polygon because, well, let's face it, "Rectangle" is useless 99% of the time. Obviously, the way you would do this manually would be to open the Attributes panel and set the Image Map attribute to Polygon and type a URL in the URL field. Fine. Easy enough. However, when scripting the process, it seems one can only set the URL (or the uRL [sic] as documented in the javascript reference) of the PathItem. In other words:
pathItem.uRL = "http://someurlfor.me";
Unfortunately, this defaults the "Image Map" attribute to "Rectangle" (which we already know is useless 99% of the time.) SO, anyone out there know how to change that attribute to "Polygon?"

We found that with the following setting, the problem is almost solved :
theme.setQueryWindowMultiplier(1);
theme.enableAutoWholeImage(true);
We still have a problem : a portion of the base map appears black most of the time, on Blackberry only (Opera Mini) ... like 1/5 of the map ... the right side ... any idea ?

How to edit Printer Connections in GPO created through Print Management's "Deploy with Group Policy"

I have used the right-click "Deploy with Group Policy" in Print Management on Windows Server 2012 to deploy a printer connection to a GPO.
When you look at the GPO Settings, the Printer Connection is visible under User Configuration -> Policies -> Windows Settings -> Printer Connections -> Path: \ \ printserver\PrinterName.
However, I cannot edit or delete that Printer Connection Path, which would be necessary if I had to rename or delete the printer referenced. If you Edit the GPO, "Printer Connections" is not available under Windows
Settings, only Scripts, Security Settings, Folder Redirection, and Policy-based QoS.
Is there a way to edit the GPO's Printer Connections that are created with "Deploy with Group Policy"?

And for an equally fast computer with good processing speed the installation would not take more than 5 minutes.

Cannot export path to illustrator

I am using CS3 and am trying to export a path to an illustrator file. I started with an 8bit black and white image and made a path from a selection. When I go to File > Export the export option is greyed out and not selectable. Any ideas on how I can open this option? I have tried to use Save as to save the file as a .psd prior to export but the only options it gives me is a .tiff and a .raw.

At least for me in cs3, the export menu or the export paths to illustrator option
is never greyed out (when an image is open), even when there aren't any paths in the image.
So your problem is probably something else. Did you try resetting the photoshop
cs3 preferences?

Connectivity path

Hi,
I have a scenario where shipment information is sent to TMS via SAP PI and cost is got based on which the shipment cost document is created in SAP ECC.
The connectivity path is
ECC (Dev Box) - SAP PI (Dev box) - TMS (production)
Now when the changes that I have done in ECC and SAP PI are moved to corresponding Quality systems, how will ECC quality know to send the shipment data to PI quality and how will PI quality know to respond back to ECC quality i.e. as below..
ECC (Quality box) - SAP PI (quality) - TMS (production)
In other words, in the Integration builder where do I see this connectivity path and how do we manage the path for DEV, QA and Production ? What changes do I need to make ?

Thanks .But I need help with specific to what I am doing and I am trying to understand in a practical way.. would be really helpful if you can answer my questions as asked below;
For e.g. in the Integration builder, I see an interface determination set up as
ECC -> shipment IDOc -> TMS
sender communication component is ECC
Receiver communication component is TMS
and interface is shipment IDOC
In ECC develpoment box in WE20 I can see the partner profile set up for logical system as PI dev box.
Q1. So a similar partner profile needs to be set up in quality and production of ECC with LS to be PI's quality and prd box , for the idoc to be sent to PI systems , right ?
Q2. In the PI dev - Integration builder for this idoc scenario, I see the communication component (sender business system) as ECC dev box.
Now when this is moved to PI quality, will it not be still pointing to sender as ECC dev rather than ECC quality ? What changes need to be done and where ?
In PI SLD, under business systems I am able to see the ECC quality system defined.
In PI SLD, under Technical systems I am able to see the ECC quality system defined.
Very much appreciate your technical help. Before moving on my transports from PI dev to PI QA I just want to make sure I am doing the right thing and connvectivity will be proper in these definitions.
