How do i update a new iPad air with everything on my old iPad gen1?

Just got a new ipad air to replace my ipad gen1. How do I get all my apps, pics, video, etc...from the old ipad to the new one? Does Cloud simply replicate everything?

Before erasing the old iPad 2 make a backup in iTunes or back it up to iCloud. Then when you setup the new iPad you will be given the option to restore from a backup.

What do you mean it won't hook up to iTunes? you mean iTunes does not recognize the device? If that's what you mean, one of these might be helpful.

Some websites require a special client certficate for access. If you don't have that certficate, you'll have to contact the site operator to find out how to get one.

the free apps are only for ios device (iphone ipad ipod touch) and do not work on mac computers. if you do get pages and numbers on your mac though you can sync the information using icloud
