How do I update firefox? I've tried but I never get the updated verson

A long time ago I tried to update firefox from 3.6 to the newest one, but it never did. I tried it several times. I looked in my program file and it has file for a lot of firefox 4, 10 12. But when I open firefox I always get one that says I need to update. Now I getting notices to update. I go to the page and follow the steps but I am always stuck with the same verson. What can I do? Do I have to delete something and start fresh? HELP

Your best bet is to download the latest version from http://www.mozilla.org/ and install that. It should install over version 3.6 and keep all your settings, though I would always do a back up just in case.

The apps I currently have are for the i phone and i pad but i would like to see this on this computer
On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
See if that makes a difference...

Firefox has been strongly suggesting I update, which I've tried, but I just get the "barber pole" wait with message "connecting to the update server" for hours and nothing happens

Firefox has been suggesting I update my software for a few weeks now. I happily click on "update now" and my Mac appears to be trying to connect to the update server. The window displays "Downloading Firefox" and the barber pole wait bar is moving. I've done this 5-6 times, for HOURS at a time, and nothing happens.

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

How can I reset my password if I never get the "forgot password" email for my iCloud account?

After upgrading to iOS7, my phone keeps bugging me to sign into my iCloud account when I can't remember my password. When I choose to resolve this, I never get the confirmation email back to reset my password and I've tried on my phone and on iCloud to reset my password but I never get the email to do so. Thus, I can't sign in and the pop-up asking me to sign in keeps popping up, it's driving me crazy! Make sure you are checking the email address you used to set up your iCloud account. Check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

Everytime I close my browser and have to restart it, not only do I lose the Persona I was using, but I also get the welcome to Mozilla page in a tab along with my homepage. It is getting quite annoying.

My back and forward buttons don't work in Firefox and I've lost all of my bookmarks! I've tried a few of the suggestions but without success at the moment.

I assume you mean the Nikon D810 because D800/800E support has been there since Lightroom 4.1
Currently, because it is a new camera (D810) the only support is in a RC of ACR 8.6 for Photoshop CS6 and CC, as the RC runs out on 31 August it is expected support will be there in the next dot release of Lightroom.
Current limitations are that only full sized NEF is supported.
If you wish to import to Lightroom 5.5. you will need to download the DNG Converter v8.6RC and convert the NEF files (full size RAW ony) to DNG then import into Lightroom 5.5

The ZyXEL P-2601HN-F1, as you know, is a combination DSL modem & 802.11n wireless router (or gateway device).
For your goal you will want to take a look at this Apple Support article for details on how to configure an AX for iTunes.
If you are still having difficulties with the AX joining the ZyXEL's wireless network, you can try the following:
Temporarily disable wireless encryption.
If you are hidding the SSID, disable that feature.
Change the Mode Select setting to: 802.11g Only
Change the Channel Selection from "Auto" to a set channel, like 1, 6, or 11
