You simply sync the iPad to the new computer. It will tell you that it is already synced with another one though, and will give you the option to erase it or transfer its contents to the new one. An iPad can only be synced with one computer at a time.
Beware that only your iTunes and App Store purchases will sync. If your iTunes library contained music obtained from other sources, you have to find a way to transfer them directly from your sick computer to the new one.
I hope your new computer is a Mac, a replacement PC will eventually suffer the same fate.

You need an English language version and there is no en-US language pack in Firefox 3.6. If you do not want the download the en-US version then you can install the en-GB language and switch to that version and remove the Spanish es-ES language pack from the chrome folder in the Firefox program folder.

You can install language pack just like extensions.<br />
You can set the pref "general.useragent.locale" to the preferred language ("en-GB") on the about:config page.<br />
You can open the about:config page via the location bar, like you open a web site.<br />

My company is on a VERY slow internet connection, and at the moment we are using a cellular modem to increase our bandwidth. This connection is a metered connection. The 1 Gb download for IOS 7 will kill all of my purchased bandwidth, and has a potential to both take a while and/or cost a fortune. I need a way to update 58 iPhone 4's, 4S's and 5's to IOS 7 while only downloading IOS for each device type once. We are using iTunes to do this update as the update utility on the phone has caused 3 of our units to crash and lose all their data. 2 of which were bricked and had to be replaced by applecare. We had a utility for that when I worked for apple a few years ago that used iTunes in this manner, but I am not sure this exists on the consumer side. Does anyone know where i can look for this solution?

What you should do is copy everything currently on the iPod to your iTunes library first. Once you have successfully done that, you can go ahead and chose Erase and Sync.

Hi there Alrighty, I'd like to start this off by saying that I'm not the most "techy" person in the world, so I apologize if I write something dumb, or come to the conclusion that the solution to my problem was simple and obvious, but so far I need help I had my Apple ID that I made when I first got my iPhone, and all was well until I put my credit card in one day. Now, I can't that that info off, no matter what. I've tried many a time to get to the infamous "None" option for payment info, but I couldn't, so I went as far as to making another Apple ID, and even though the "none" option is there and marked, when I try to update apps, it prompts me to log in with my previous ID, and takes me right to the billing screen, where my old CC info is. I don't have access to this card anymore, and the little notification for me to update my apps is absolutely killing me. Please help?

Hi, i have an iPhone 4s that i have been syncing with my old windows computer. I now have a macbook air and obviously i want to start syncing my iPhone on my mac instead of windows.
I DO have a backup of my iPhone on my windows if that makes a difference. I want to be able to use the mac iTunes for syncing and putting music from mac to iPhone but i don't want to loose any of the music, data, apps, notes, photos, contacts, messages etc...
what would be the steps in doing this? do i have to move all my music from my old comp to mac or is there a way to address my problem by moving the library file to mac?
Ps i know this has been asked heaps but i dont understand the answers according to my specific situation, and btw i would like to do this without other apps or programs if possible, definetly no jailbreaking please

The 11.1 update I believe is only for OS X and not IOS. Look for the update in the Mac App Store/Updates or System Preferences/Software Update. To be safe, make sure you backup your system first.

I have somewhat of a similar problem. After iTunes last update, I am missing some of my purchased files of music,ringtones, and TV shows. Possibly movies, but just thought of that and did not look yet. Seems everytime there is an iTunes update, something happens, but usually an easy fix by just deleting music files from CD's that I loaded onto iTunes and no longer recognized after an update and reload from the hard drive.
