How do I Update my Router's Firmware?

I downloaded the firmware file for my Wireless Linksis router (WRT54GS V7) because I'm having issues with the router resetting itself while I play games, but I can't figure out how to install it. The default program that wants to open the firmware file is VLC (a media player). What should I do?
Edit: I'm trying to re-download the firmware file to see if that helps but now the download links aren't even working... what's going on here?
Edit 2: I'm also trying to read the FAQ because it looks like they may already have an answer for my question but the answer page there isn't loading either.
Is the site undergoing maintenance or something?

Turn off your anti-virus and firewall. Try it again.
Connect the computer directly to the modem. Try it again.
Try a different computer.
The Linksys download website is working fine. Whatever is not working is on your end.

There is no official way to do what you want, that's why the files can't be selected. iOS 4.2.1 is the last officially signed firmware available for your phone. If you want to install any other firmware you'll have to go elsewhere for instructions as such cannot be discussed here, per this forum's terms of use, sorry.

How do i update the thunderbolt bus firmware of my iMac?

Hi all
I am a beginner at working with OSX so please understand that i need specific information if you ask me to do anything. I have a specific problem with setting up thunderbolt display. I wish to set up my second iMac as a secondairy screen using target display mode. The situation is the following:
I have two mid 2011 iMac models and a thunderbolt cable. One of these iMacs has thunderbolt bus firmware version 22.1 and the other has 25.1. Both machines are running OSX Mavericks, with all no extra updates available in the app store (all updates have been installed). When i connect them via the thunderbolt cable, the status in system information > hardware > thunderbolt remains on "port: status: no device found". pressing cmd + f2 logically does nothing as long as the iMac does not recognize the other iMac.
When i connect the iMac with the 25.1 firmware version, to another iMac from a colleague, which also has firmware version 25.1 via the same thunderbolt cable, i could use it as a second screen.
From what i know there are two options now:
- my second imac has a broken thunderbolt port
- my second imac needs a firmware update to version 25.1
I have, however, no idea how to verify either of these things. Googling on how to update the thunderbolt bus firmware does not give any good results and the app store offers no thunderbolt firmware upgrades anymore (thunderblt firmware update 1.2 is already installed). hence i am trying to solve this via the community now.
Do any of you have any ideas on how to procede? i prefer to fix this issue without taking it to a service center.

unfortunately I don't have high Speed Internet connection so i had to download each frimware from other computer, for examplein my office ... and broght them to my computer and after syncing my Ipad : Each time I used to use Shift + Update ( in Ipad Summary ) . and address my last downloaded frimware ... but these days Itunes says This firmware is not compatible with ur device !
I try last version of Itunes . 2 another usb port and my second computer .... but i can't update my Ipad

To check your charging issue, find another mains charger, try a USB on the computer, and try another cable. You need to try and eliminate the bad part, and continue from there. If the charger, cable are good, then it is a problem with the phone itself. That is a 5 year old phone, and in technology years, it is quite old. Those are the only things you can do.
My question about what are you connected to is in reference to your question about wifi. You say the phone shows connected by you are not connected. Why do you say you are not connected?

Sorry, but if you have an iPhone 3G, you cannot. iOS 4.2.1 is the final version an iPhone 3G can run. Confirm your actual model of iPhone here:

Should it be on the desktop, What do I do after I open it? It's a iMac 450 mHz

I did this the other day - just downloaded the upgrade and run it from the desktop. You have to restart the machine and it is a case of following the instructions there after.
One point though - it has to be OS9.1 I beleive for it to work!
Good luck - give OS X a go after that if you can - I'm posting from my old iMac running it now and its not a slow as you would think - in fact it is fine!

I have created few Routing Rules in my Human Task and routing is properly working.
But when I tried to search these Routing Rules in WorklistApplication console (via weblogic which an admin user)
I couldn't find any Routing Rules, However all other rules (rules for list building) that I had created for my human task are available in WorklistApplication.
I want to know how to access/update these Routing Rules in WorklistApplication ?

Even when I deployed the sample application workflow-106-IterativeDesign provided at http://java.net/projects/oraclesoasuite11g/downloads/directory/HumanWorkflow?field=date&order=asc , the routing rules are not appearing in WorklistApplication console.
is this a bug ?

You would need to contact SBSC and ask for firmware 1.1.14.

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

How can I install the iMac Graphics Firmware Update 2.0, if the screen is white and I can't get to the Apple menu? My computer has 5 vertical purple lines against white screen at startup before the Apple logo appears and the spinning gear...then everything disappears and the screen hangs on the white screen.
