How do I upgrade a webBasics website to a webBasics +?

How do I upgrade a webBasics website (that came with my CC subscription) to a webBasics + subscription. I need to provide email accounts to my client. When I first pushed it live it didn't give me an option to do anything but webBasics. Thank you.

  • How do I upgrade the webbasics site that is included with Muse subscription?

    Hi there
I want to upgrade the web basics account I got with Muse so that I can have a blog on my site, but I can't find any way of doing that...
    Thanks for the help!

Ok, so I'm attempting to do this...I've created a mysite.businesscatalyst.com brand new site from a blank template (for the record, it is a webmarketing account). What I want to do, is simply add a blog to my existing site www.thegadgetguy.ca but because it's the one included with the Muse subscription, I have now learned it cannot be upgraded to the webmarketing version which has blog capabilities.
    So...
Now that I have Muse open with this new blank website, what on earth do I do with it? Do I have to re-create a page in the style of my existing website (www.thegadgetguy.ca) - and if so, can I simply copy and paste a page style -  and then when I publish it, publish it to the gadgetguy Muse site?
How exactly does this work? It's not by any stretch of the imagination a user friendly or easily identified process.
    Thanks

I am using lightroom 5 and would like to upgrade to lightroom 6. I am not interested in the subscription based craetive cloud model. The website keeps pushing me to the subscription based model. Can someone guide me on how to just upgrade from 5 to 6 (desktop version and not the cloud subscription version)?

    Hello,
there are informations about your interests here: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-lightroom-6-cc-direct-download-links.html >>> See: Importantly, this new version continues as a downloadable desktop product and is available either with a standalone perpetual license (called Lightroom 6) or via subscription (called Lightroom CC). It’s the same exact program and free trial download below, but the name is changed to reflect the differences in licensing and bundling, as well as the addition of integrated mobile apps & services and future feature updates.
From there you will find a download link.

  • How can I upgrade my FCP4 now????

I'm hoping someone might hava a suggestion on how I can upgrade my FCP4 since apple terminated the upgrade offer in the middle of the month. I'd made a mental note when I saw the upgrade form that I had to send it end before the end of March, but when I sat down to do it, the March 19 date jumped out and bit me. Pretty lame, excuse, I know, but considering that I purchased FCP when it was version 1 for a grand, and I've paid another 600 for upgrades to versions 3 and 4, I think it is unconscionable of Apple to just pull the plug ...
    Any suggestions??? ([email protected])
    thanks... oloren

I think everyone is talking about two things here.
The OP is not angry (or so it would seem) that he missed the SALE, but that the website says only versions 1-3 are upgradeable. Is that correct? You are talking about the upgrade PATH, not the upgrade COST? Right...?
Cause the deal you missed was your fault... but to lose the ability to upgrade at all would be sucky. But that is not the case. As earlier mentioned in this post, you can still upgrade at the regular upgrade cost, the same way you always have. And the main reason for the deal was for the CROSSGRADE of people who already upgraded to 5.0. You are upgrading your 4.0, so you can still get in on the 5.1 actioin before the next version comes out. But don't wait. I don't see adobe still selling photoshop 7 anywhere. When six comes out your going to lose the upgrade path and be on a new version path.
    I would get it soon...
EDIT: What Shane said... before me...

  • How do I upgrade safari on my imac 12.1 A while ago I got a message about the free upgrade but it was confusing

I have  an imac OSX 10.6.8    How do I upgrade the safari that came with my mac?  Several websites say the browser is out of date.

    By upgrading OS X:
    Upgrading to Yosemite
You can upgrade to Yosemite from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Yosemite can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for FREE.
    Upgrading to Yosemite
To upgrade to Yosemite you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Download Yosemite from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Yosemite is free. The file is quite large, over 5 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
        OS X Mavericks- System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Yosemite
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 5,1 or later
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.
         Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps.
    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mavericks, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion at the Online Apple Store. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase a redemption code at the Online Apple Store: OS X Mountain Lion. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. Use the code to redeem a download of Mountain Lion from the App Store. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mountain Lion - System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later.
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model
                 Identifier 5,1 or later.
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later.
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later.
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later.
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later.
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later.

  • FAQ Broken: How do I upgrade the firmware on a WRT54G Wireless-G Broadband Router?

I tried to view the above question in the FAQ, but it goes to the answer for a different question.
I then tried "How do I upgrade the firmware on my router?" a little further down,
but it acts like I'm not authenticated, and won't accept my Linksys Forums e-mail address
and password. When I try the password recovery, it says my e-mail address is invalid.
Can someone please point me to instructions for upgrading the firmware on my WRT54G?
Specifically, someone told me that the router needs to be listening on the default 192.168.1.1
IP address, but mine is listening on 10.1.1.2. Do I need to change this just to flash new
firmware, because that will be a little painful.
    Thanks,

Go to website linksysbycisco.com/downloads.........insert model no of your router in serach tab......select proper version of your router........download the firmware file......save that file on desktop
Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware on the device : -
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on a computer hard wired to the router...
In the address bar type - "Default Gateway of Your Router"...Leave the Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
Click on the 'Administration' tab- Then click on the 'Firmware Upgrade' sub tab- Here click on 'Browse' and browse the .bin firmware file and click on "Upgrade"...
Wait for few seconds until it shows that "Upgrade is successful"  After the firmware upgrade, click on "Reboot" and you will be returned back to the same page OR it will say "Page cannot be displayed".
    Now reset your router :
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...
**To Check the Default Gateway of the router...Click Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt...A black box will appear(Command Prompt)...In the Command Prompt window type ipconfig and press 'Enter'...Look for Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection IP Address , Subnet Mask and Default Gateway...
**To all the above setting using the wired computer.

  • How can I upgrade to Lion again from Snow Leopard?

My Macbook Pro (Late 2011), was shipped with OSX Lion but due to some software compatibility issues, I downgraded my OS to Snow Leopard, but now that software is fully compatible with OSX Lion and Mountain Lion, how can I upgrade to Lion again?

    Hi Viaixtapa, well long story...
I phoned the number above and purchased a license.  The process worked fine, the Apple Tech took my particulars, I received an email right away acknowelging my purchase and one from the Tech giving me his details so that I could come back to him if I needed help.  But when I went to download Lion it would not download because I do not have the requirements to load it, mine is an Intel Core Duo instead of an Intel 2 Duo or later.
The clerk in the Apple store in Vancouver checked the details of my machine and told me I could load it if I upgraded the memory.  But apparently that was incorrect.  The Tech I who sold me Lion checked too and said no, my iMac is not capable of supporting Lion.  So a plus and minus answer.  I did get Lion, but was unable to load it, yours is a 2008 model so you should have no trouble.  Why not try the number or the international website above from Steve, nothing ventured, nothing gained.  I will just keep saving my pennies toward a new iMac!!

I use dropbox.com to edit my website from multiple computers. It's free for up to 2GB of storage.
Install dropbox on all the computers you will edit from and then keep your domain file in dropbox. Any file that is edited on any computer is updated on all the other computers.
By default your domain file is located in your user/library/application support/iWeb folder. Just copy it to the dropbox and double click on the file in dropbox to begin editing that file. Keep your file backed up frequently as all your edited work is in this one file. If you lose this file you will have to start from scratch unless you keep backups.
Only one person can edit the file at a time. If you edit the file from two locations at the same time your file will become corrupted.
I have never had any problems using dropbox to edit from multiple computers.
    Sincerely, David

  • How do I upgrade my software from 10.4.11 to 10.5.8 for my iPhone 4s

I have a new iPhone 4S but can't upload to iTunes, I've found it it's due to my software upgrade but don't know how to do this? How do I upgrade my software? I keep getting lost on Apple website. Help!

Yes. Your Mac can be upgraded to Leopard but I would recommend that you upgrade to Snow Leopard instead. It will actually be cheaper. Just buy the install DVD for Snow Leopard for $29.
Then you can upgrade to iTunes 10.5.3.

  • How do I upgrade from CS5.5 to CS6 and how much does it cost in New Zealand?

How do I upgrade from CS5.5 to CS6 and how much does it cost in New Zealand?

If you don't want to go the Cloud route and subscribe then Adobe still sells CS6 (online only) via their website
    http://www.adobe.com/au/products/catalog/cs6._sl_id-contentfilter_sl_catalog_sl_software_s l_creativesuite6.html
(make sure you're in the NZ store - check the Country the link above the Copyright at the bottom LHS of the page)
Select your product then click Buy
I want to buy: Select Upgrade from the dropdown menu
    I own: <select your existing CS5.5 product>
    Complete your purchase.
Upgrade cost depends on which CS5.5 suite you own and which CS6 suite you want to upgrade to.

  • How do I upgrade (via Apple) SSD (to 500 GB or 1 TB) on Macbook Pro Retina 13-inch, Late 2012

How do I upgrade (via Apple) SSD (to 500 GB or 1 TB) on Macbook Pro Retina 13-inch, Late 2012.
I want to know how much Apple will charge for this (if they even do this since I don't see it on their website).

Apple does not upgrade parts of a machine - they'll have it repaired under warranty, but no upgrades. You can, however, take it to an authorized service provider; no idea how much they would charge.
You can also do this yourself - here is an installation video:
    http://eshop.macsales.com/installvideos/macbookpro_13_retinadisplay_late12_unibo dy_ssd/
I bought one of their SSDs and installed it in my 2012 MBP (not retina) - very easy to do. If you want to go this way, post back for instructions on how to clone your current drive which will make things super easy.

  • How can I upgrade from 5 to 5.5 and from 5.5 to 6?

I purchased Creative Suite 5 Design Premium and never received information on 5.5.  I believe I would have been eligible to upgrade to 5.5 free, because it came out so soon after my purchase.  Now 6 is out.  I'd like to know how I can upgrade (hopefully free) from 5 to 5.5 and then investigate my options for considering upgrading to 6.
I've spent hours on the Adobe website, attempting to find information on this question, but to no avail.  It wasn't for a lack of trying!
    Help!

The eligibility period for the post announce upgrade to Creative Suite 5.5 expired quite some time ago.  You will qualify for the upgrade pricing for Creative Suite 6.  You have two choices depending on the software which you utilize.  We have Creative Suite 6 Design Standard available and Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium.  Please see the buying guides below depending on which suite you are interested in.
