How do I upgrade InDesign CS 5.5 to InDesign CS 6?

I have InDesign CS 5.5 on my local drive.  I want to upgrade to InDesign CS 6.  I don't want a subscription to the Creative Cloud.  I spend a lot of my time in 3rd world places with poor Internet access.  I prefer to have the software on my computer. 
Does Adobe still care about customers who need the software installed on their local drive? 
I cannot find anything other than CC propaganda on the Adobe site.  No information about upgrades at all.
I have a large investment in Creative Suite software.  I hope it's not wasted.

Propaganda? Really?
Creative Cloud does not require an internet connection except to check the license now and then. That length depends on whether you pay monthly or annually.

    You can’t. You have upgrade or have whoever is send you files save as IDML. Don’t expect perfection.

    There is no upgrade path from a suite to an individual product.
    You can buy InDesign CS6 for $700 or you can subscribe to InDesign CC for $20/month.

    You cannot upgrade from CS3 to CS5.5 now as CS5.5 is no more in picture. Instead, you can upgrade to CS6.
    However, if you need the download link for inDesign or any other CS5.5 applications, you can use the below link to download them and then serialize using your serial key for CS5.5

    If you are referring to an error when trying to open a file, and you are not already patched to 7.5.3 that is the first thing you need to do.
    Then try opening the file again and let us know what the error is.

    You can buy CS6. There is no upgrade pricing available from CS4.

    You probably don't. CS5.5 was a paid upgrade, not free, and it is no longer distributed by Adobe or resellers.

    the only way to update your iphone3gs is by connecting it to itunes using either pc or laptop, you cant do it in any other way.
