How do i upload a CD onto my itunes library?

how do I upload a CD onto my itunes library? Sorry but I am a complete techno phobe!

If iTunes is open on your computer, then when you insert a CD into its disk drive it should be recognised by iTunes and you should be prompted as to whether to import it into your library or not - there is a video 'how-to' here , and help pages for iTunes 10 on windows and iTunes 11 on windows.
You should then be able to sync it to your iPhone if you want it on it (syncing music).
