How do I upload a PDF as an asset?

I had a PDF file of a summer newsletter for our library's website (brownell-libraryri.org) that was linked and opening fine. When I deleted it and tried to replace it with the winter newsletter, the link to the new PDF doesn't work. I have tried file/add files for upload with no luck. I have tried relinking. I have an image of the cover of the newsletter underneath the text that is the link to it. Next to the name of the PDF in the assets window it continues to read 'Upload'. Clicking on the link on the website brings up this message:
"Not Found
The requested URL /Brownell_News_Winter_2013.pdf was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
Is there someplace that I should be putting the PDF other than on my desktop where the one that worked was? I have tried putting it in a folder with the other assets and images but that doesn't seem to work.
I have tried to 'google' for a suggestion with no luck. I will be most thankful for any help.

If you use the File:Add files for upload feature, Muse will upload the file into a folder named 'assets'. You can create a link to the file by choosing it from the hyperlinks control.
If you really want to have the file at the root of your website for some reason(i.e. not in the assets folder), then you'll have to upload it yourself using an external FTP client, as Muse does not allow you to specify where to put uploaded files.

the latest version of the iOS app GoodReader has been updated to use the iCloud sync features. You can open, store, and edit PDF files and they'll automatically sync with GoodReader on all other devices. Documents are stored in iCloud and will also sync with any Mac that is setup to sync with iCloud. The Mac will automatically have a folder where you can open synced files or add new files from your Mac. details of how to do this are in the GoodReader help files.

There isn't a "Universidad de Salamanca" category in iTunes U... does that matter? is there a public area to upload these files? it would be useful to do so so we can share them more easily with y study group or other students....

The school you attend would need to have an iTunes U site. If they do your courses would need to be inside of iTunes U and from there if the professor has allowed students can upload documents into a "drop box" to share with the rest of the class or it can be used to hand in assignments to the professors.

How can I upload a PDF image with out it going grainy

i am trying to write an adobe form and I need to have the names of the authors at the bottom of the page in columns, It seems impossible to do this by entering the text into the box on the form as the spacing doesn't work. I have made a PDF image of what I want to write but each time I upload it it becomes grainy. If I save it as a PNG or TIFF it is still grainy - even if I reduce the file size to the required number of pixels - please help me!

I am trying to set up an informational business site in which folks can hit a hyperlink and it automatically downloads a pdf, page or word file onto their screen. I want to have a page that is referencing several papers with brief descriptions of each and hyperlinked to these papers on my ??idisk?? account. Am I thinking in the correct direction and if so-how do I do it?

There are two ways to do this:
1) in the link tap of the Inspector, choose "file" as the link type; iWeb will ask you to find the file. When you publish the page, iWeb will copy the file to an appropriate location on you iDisk, and the link will take folks to that copy.
2) Place the files in your "Public" file of your iDisk; in iWeb, use "external page" as the link type, and enter the url for these files. (You'll have to look in Apple's knowledge base for the right url for your Public folder. I don't remember it at the moment). Make sure that your Public folder settings allow for others to access documents there.
I've usually used the second option, as that means I can edit the files in question later. (Maybe that's possible with the first option, but I wasn't sure how)

Just click on tht ppt you want, go up to File > Get Info > and go down to Open With and choose Keynote. You can also click on Open All Like This if you wish so now all PowerPoints will open in Apples Keynotes!

The app called "Air Sharing" allows you to do that. Connect to a wifi network, run the program and you can mount your iphone as a drive using Finder. Upload all the PDFs you like, and you can open them from within the Air Sharing app. Also, you can view most image files, most office files, etc.

PDF flyer with attached Data Form how do i upload pdf and submit data simultaneously?

Scenerio user downloads pdf flyer template with attached data form. user customizes flyer and fills out form. user clicks on custom "Submit" button to send form data to php form.
On submit, how can i upload the pdf flyer to our server AND still send the form data to php form?
maybe the local file(pdf) address is sent to the php form along with the form data, then i can use php to upload the file automatically.

Hi Mr AP,
are you trying to do this in Reader or in Acrobat? If you're using Reader it won't work unless the form is reader-extended by either LC Reader Extensions on the server or by running it through Acrobat manually and extend the capabilities of the form for reader users (careful - the license of the latter is limited to 500 form recipients).
If you did try it in Reader with a non-extended form the behaviour you'd see is that it just won't work, so that might be your issue.
