How do I upload a PDF file/image to a brochure being created on iPages?

I am trying to create a brochure on iPages. I want to insert the image of a webpage on the brochure. I converted the webpage to a PDF file but I cannot insert that file into the iPage brochure. Any advice how I can do this? Thank you.

There's no way to lock bookmarks specifically, but if you you can apply a
security policy to prevent editing the PDF in general.

There are two ways to do this:
1) in the link tap of the Inspector, choose "file" as the link type; iWeb will ask you to find the file. When you publish the page, iWeb will copy the file to an appropriate location on you iDisk, and the link will take folks to that copy.
2) Place the files in your "Public" file of your iDisk; in iWeb, use "external page" as the link type, and enter the url for these files. (You'll have to look in Apple's knowledge base for the right url for your Public folder. I don't remember it at the moment). Make sure that your Public folder settings allow for others to access documents there.
I've usually used the second option, as that means I can edit the files in question later. (Maybe that's possible with the first option, but I wasn't sure how)

I was successful in bringing the image into the project as a clip but the default for the image is one second. When I try to change duration of the clip, I am able to enter a new time length but the actual clip doesn't change.

May i know which application or service of Adobe you are using.
If you have Adobe Acrobat you can simply open PDF document and go to Tools> content editing. And choose your tools of choice and edit the pdf document.
If you have Acrobat.com, then you logon to www.acrobat.com and you will get couple of feature. Where you will be able to make some limited changes to document.

Yes, but the problem is will iBooks remember where I left off in that pdf file? Unlikely since it was deleted. Also, what is handy about the kindle app is once you delete it an icon appears in the app to show that this file is in the cloud. I guess for reading pdfs the kindle app is better. I am not saying that the kindle app would be that great for other things but at least with syncing and such it's much better. Well, iCloud is meant for other things. It's fine because I'll just use it for those other things and stick to the kindle app for reading pdfs. Well I use endnote for reading technical pdfs, I'm just talking about novels and such on the kindle app.
