To copy photos and videos in the Photos app that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page - on a Mac you can use iPhoto, Aperture or Image Capture. If that is what you also want to delete from the iPad then you can either do it as part of the import process, or you can delete them directly in the Photos app, either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it (Edit button on iOS 6) in thumbnail view. If they were originally synced from a computer then they can only be deleted by de-selecting them on Photos tab and re-syncing, they can't be deleted directly on the iPad.
If they are in other apps then it will depend upon what apps that they are in, different apps have different ways of copying their content to/from a computer - either via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc. iTunes purchases can be copied back to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iOS 6).

I haven't tried this, but I believe what you could do is
append
requestHeaders to the urlrequest object that you pass into
the file.upload()
method. The requestHeaders is an array of name/value pairs
that would be
included with your post. At least in theory, I believe that
shoudl work.

How to get InputStream of uploaded file from request?

The situation:
Client is uploading xml file to server.

I want to use method javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilder.parse(InputStream is)
But, how to get InputStream of uploaded file from request?

You cannot get the InputStream of the uploaded file directly. The InputStream you can obtain from request.getInputStream() contains a lot of other data as well as the uploaded file. You will have to parse the data in the InputStream to find the data that belongs to the file.
A short cut is to use the HTTP Multipart File Upload available from www.jenkov.com. It simplifies file upload and makes it easy to obtain an InputStream for only the uploaded file. It also handles upload of multiple files. It is free, open source, Apache license, so if it doesn't fit your needs, you can always read the code and see how it works. Then write your own upload servlet.

I have this problem too. Photo stream works fine on iPhone+iPad, but the photos are never loaded to my PC (Win 8.1). My shared folders works fine on iOS and PC, but not My photo stram.
In the beginning, a couple of years ago, it work, but not now (2014).
All iOS are updated, and PC-iCloud software/panel is Active, and Photo stream is activated.
What to do??
Reset all streams on PC? I tried, no result.
I can understand that it takes time to reload all Pictures from iCload to my PC, but I wait Days, weeks...

Hi,
directories creates basis. If you have task to store data in application server you already should have information into which folder you have to do it. If you don't have this information because it is just for example training for next task then you can use your personal folder into which you have access. To get list of all available folders please look at attached code and form get_directories (you get the list of folders you see in transaction AL11). But don't forget: If you are using open dataset you have to have rights to access application folder!

Upload file from Directory via Background Jod

Hi All,
I want to upload a excel from directory. which is neither on my PC nor on application server. This is on some other PC.
I used the FM TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP which is working fine for foreground mode But not working background job because GUI FMs work for foreground mode only.
As of my knowledge I can not use OPEN DATASET if file not exist on application server.
Please suggest how can read this file from any PC in background mode.

Ask you basis/network admin for tools like FTP or shared folder to access data files.
If you are not executing on a workstation with Excel installed, you cannot use OLE2 to convert Excel to Abap (nor any GUI tools) so either convert sheet to a flat (e.g. csv) format or use a tool like abap2xlsx.
NB: Also use search tool, there are already many threads/discussion on this kind of subjects.
