How do I upload my music from my iPhone 3G to my iTunes account on a computer with Windows 7?

How do I upload my music from my iPhone 4 to my iTunes account on a computer operting Windows 7 (computer A)?  All of my music is in my iTunes account on another computer operating Windows 7 (computer b), but I can't seem to get my iTunes account on computer a to recognize the music on computer b (it is the same shared iTunes account), nor can I figure out how to get all of that music, which also is on my iPhone, transferred from my iPhone to computer a.

My old computer has crashed with my old itunes on it. How can I transfer my music from my iphone to my new itunes library?

Use the backup of the old computer and copy the iTunes files to the new one.
However, since you are writing here, you probably didn't have a backup, so check out this user provided support document https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141

  • How do I upload my music from my iPhone 4S to iTunes so I can then transfer to an iPod?

    Hi there
I hope the above makes sense. I have over a 1000 songs on my iphone but 400 in iTunes. I want to upload my iPhone library to iTunes so i can then sync with a new iPod?
    Please someone help...
    Thanks

As I said, you can transfer itunes purchases.
As everything else came from your computer in the first place, then it should still be there, and should be included in your regular backup copy of your computer.

  • I have a 5th Gen iPod Video, I no longer have the original computer i used to synch with, how do I get my music from my iPod on to my iTunes on my new computer?

I have looked on here, and all I can see are solutions involving the use of both old and new computers, as I dont have the old one anymore I am hoping someone might have a workaround.
    Thanks

Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
    Come back with the results.
An "other" larger tha about 1 1/2 usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files.
    First try:
"First you go settings/general/usage/music/then left swipe over music and press delete and you would think it deletes your music but it doesn't instead it deletes your other but make sure your ipod is connected to a computer while doing this"

Next, usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.
    To restore from backup see:

  • How can I sync the music on my iphone to a new itunes on a new computer without losing everything?

Just recently I got a new laptop which means a fresh, new itunes. The old computer had all my songs but it's a really slow old computer so i can no longer sync my iphone to it anymore. so i was wondering how could i sync the music i have on my iphone to my new itunes on my laptop? the only option i've seen is syncing the 3 sample songs i have on my itunes to my iphone but then i would lose all my other songs. help.

The iphone is not a storage/backup device.
The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.
Iphone will sycn with one computer at a time.  Syncing to another will erase the current content.

  • How can I transfer my playlists from my iPhone to my new iTunes account?

I am transfering my iTunes to my new Mac. I have successfuly gotten the music transfered over via external harddrive. How can i also transfer my playlists which do not show up without remaking them?
    Help would be appreciated.

As sberman noted, it would be much better if you transferred everything from your old computer. This will import yoru iTunes library and everything (playlists, artwork, etc.)
To copy playlists from yoru iPhone...
Select the iPhone on the left sidebar in iTunes. (If you cannot see the left sidebar, menu View > Show sidebar)
Click the triangle to the left of the iPhone name to view the contents of the iPhone.
Right click on a playlist name then Export...
To import this playlist into iTunes, menu File > Libraty > Import playlist and select the file you saved.

  • How can i restore all items from my iphone back to my itunes account?

I recently had to restore all factory settings on my laptop due to a virus so have lost all apps, music, etc. on my itunes account. All items are still on my iphone and thought they would automatically return when syncing, sadly did not happen but have two options........... Apply? or Revert? one will move everythung back to itunes, the other will remove everything from my iphone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!
To anyone having the same problem right click on the iphone device and go to restore purchased items then follow instructions.

  • How can i move the music from my iphone onto my new itunes?

    hi
ive just got a new laptop and i installed itunes thinking that when i plugged in my iphone it would take the music library from the phone to the laptop so i had an up to date library on my phone and the itunes on my laptop. however, this didnt happen. the itunes acknowledges my iphone as the 'closey 16's iphone' appears in the left hand column and it also charges the battery, so the usb lead is definitely working. Does anyone know how to sort this out? please?!
    thanks

The iPhone is not a backup storage device and sync is technically one way. You need to get your data from your old machine (or backup...you do make backups right) to your new machine then into iTunes. Then you can sync them to your iPhone (which will clear the iPhone and sync content back again as you can only sync media with one computer).
One other option is to choose "Transfer Purchased Content" from the menu (in Windows it would be rightclick on your iPhone in iTunes or from File menu...sorry I don't use a Mac).
However, note, that will ONLY copy over items you bought via iTunes and NOT items you got another way (eg: ripped, from another store, etc) as there is no way to verify you own a legal copy.

  • How can I transfer my music from my iPhone 5s to my ipad air without a computer?

I have a number of songs on my iPhone 5s that I would like on my ipad air but I don't have a computer and the songs aren't going onto my cloud. Some songs save to the cloud but not all of them.

What happened to the computer those songs were transferred from originally and the same for the computer's backup that should include your iTunes library along with all other important data?
Without purchasing iTunes Match, you are out of luck for those songs without the computer they were transferred from or your iTunes library on a backup that can be transferred to a new or different computer to transfer those songs to the iPad.

  • How do i get my music from the iphone to itunes?

my desk top recently bit the dust on me so I got myself a lap top. I have itunes installed but how do I transfer my music from the iphone 3gs to the itunes?

Purchased from iTunes or acquired from somewhere else.
For purchases make sure you authorize your computer in iTunes and go to File > Transfer Purchases.
For other songs you will need 3rd party software. Which one depends on what type of computer you have.
Easiest way to put your music is to use your backup from your old computer and restore it on the new one.

  • How can i keep my music from my iPhone and sync it my new macbook? Only purchased music seems to be available to sync, even though the rest of the music was uploaded from CD's on my  last laptop.

Hi, I have changed from an old laptop to a macbook air. how can i keep my music from my iPhone and sync it my macbook? Only purchased music seems to be available to sync, even though the rest of the music was uploaded from CD's on my  last laptop.
As I can't upload CD's onto the Macbook Air, how do I keep the existing music on my iphone syn onto my new macbook without deleting all the cds on the iphone??
    Many thanks!

    Hi RaulRod,
Are you pressing the Sync button to transfer music after connecting your iPhone or do you have the option checked to 'Automatically Sync when the iPhone is connected?'
Have you tried manually dragging and dropping music from your library into your phone?
