How do I upload my Raw files from SD card to a cloud?

Is it possible to upload Raw files from SD to a cloud using Ipad? Any solution without jailbreak?

Hello Vadim245,
You can import RAW images from your SD card using the iPad Camera Connection Kit:
iPad Camera Connection Kit
http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC531ZM/A/apple-ipad-camera-connection-kit
Also, RAW images are supported by iClouds Photo Stream feature:
The following image file types are supported for Photo Stream: JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and RAW.
You can find more information about Photo Stream limits here:

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Which version of mac os x do you have?
Which version of photoshop are you using?
Do you get any message when you try to open the files into photoshop?
Did you use Nikon Transfer to get the files from your camera to computer?
Did you try the File>Get Photos From Camera in Adobe Bridge?

I am having some huge problems with my colorspace settings. Every time I upload my raw files from my Canon 5D mark II or 6D the pics are perfect in color. That includes the back of my camera, the pic viewer on my macbook pro, and previews. They even look normal when I first open them in photoshop. I will edit, save, and then realize once i've sent it to myself to test the color is WAY off. This only happens in photoshop. I've read some forums and have tried different things, but it seems to be making it worse. PLEASE HELP! Even viewing the saved image on the mac's pic viewer is way off once i've edited in photoshop. I am having to adjust all my colors by emailing myself to test. Its just getting ridiculous.

Check the color space in camera raw, the options are in the link at the bottom of the dialog box. Then when saving make sure you save it to the srgb color space when sending to others. Not all programs understand color space and or will default to srgb. That won't necessarily mean it will be accurate, but it will put it in the ballpark. Using save for web will use the srgb color space.

  • How can I work the raw file from Canon 5D MkIII in Photoshop Elements 9?

how can I work the raw file from Canon 5D MkIII in Photoshop Elements 9?

You can download the 7.1 DNG converter to make copies of your canon raw files in the adobe dng format, which can then be opened in pse 9.
As said above the the latest camera raw plugin 6.5 for pse 9 won't open those files directly, but will open the the converted dng files.

  • Import raw files from XQD cards

Is premier pro cc  able to import raw files from xqd cards. this video would be shot on Sony new PXW X100 4K CAMERA. Then edited with the raw files?

You are using the word "RAW" but the camera does not shoot "RAW". Are you askign if you can import Z100 footage into PRemiere CC? Yes you can. I have some Christmas light footage I can play. I can't export it to anything that black bagic media express will recognize and play over a black magic 4k card HDMI to a 4K monitor...

  • How do I open my raw files from my nikon 7100 (NEF files) in adobe photoshop

I recently downloaded a trial version of photoshop cc along with bridge and the adobe dng converter. All of which was suggested after finding out that my CS4 suite was no longer supported. I am sad to report that I still cannot open the files and the adobe support link offered no assistance on a trial version. How am I to know if it works or to be encouraged to continue with the cc versions after the trial? Any suggestions?

Thanks!! Eventhough I had loaded the newest version of the Nikon software that came with my camera, I did not do it until after I had transferred my images using the pevious version for an older camera. Didn't think it mattered at the time since it seemed to transfer fine. I deleted all my raw files and repeated the transfer. Thank God I didn't have delete upon transfer selected and still had the images on my camera. Anyway, it worked and you have brought me up to speed and out of the frustrated artist mode I was slipping into. I no longer need the converter.

  • How do i keep my RAW files from turing to jpeg files when exporting them to My Passport?

I am an amature photographer and take all my pitures in RAW form (highest quality and more editing capability). I was given a My Passport for Mac external harddrive to transfer all my files to to open more space on my mac book. When importing my RAW files to the Passport they automatically turn to JPEG files. I just re-imported a few files from the Passport back into Aperature and they are still JPEG files Is there something i need to do to keep my RAW files RAW? If not with the Passport, is there another external that would be of better use to me?

When you drag and drop the from Aperture you export the JPEG Preview.
Use the command "File > Export" in Aperture  to export the original files.
You can also open an Aperture library in Photos - this will create a Photos library.

  • How to remove an embedded RAW file from DNG?

During my early phases of experimenting with Lightroom's support for DNG, I ticked the Embed RAW Image option in Preferences. Unfortunately, this meant that the resulting DNG was, compared with the original CRW, about 3 times the size. I've since ceased embedding RAW files into the DNG, so now the DNGs are roughly 10% smaller than the CRWs, which is quite a result.
My question is: for the DNGs where I embedded the RAW image, how can I remove that image and reclaim all that wasted space?

Use the convert to dng (yes, you can do this on dng files!) function and make sure to uncheck the embed original RAW option but keep the rest default (yes to lossless compression and make sure you have preserve RAW image instead of convert to linear set. You can do this directly in lightroom or using the dng converter app.

  • How do you export a RAW file from Lightroom?

I am trying to export my RAW files to my desktop (on a mac) so that I can send the files via email. Is this possible?

You can't save it as the original RAW file, (e.g. .CR2 or .NEF) but you can export as a DNG file. Go to File settings > Image Format > DNG.
P.S. You should be able to send an NEF or CR2 file by email as long as it doesn't exceed the file size limit

  • Importing Raw Files from CF Card in LR4

Why is LR4 requiring me to convert my files from the old process to the LR4 (2012) process for raw files imported directly from my CF card into LR4?

new files you took with your camera are normaly not processed at all.
can you describe your problem a bit more?
you mean your new RAW files are imported into LR 4 as PV2010 files and not PV2012 files?
so you have to manually update them to process version 2012?
i don´t have that problem.. i could only think that you maybe us a preset that uses PV2010?
but then even my old preset use the new PV2012 when i import images.

  • How to find the original RAW file # from a Lightroom exported JPG?

Hello, this is in regards to a Lightroom 3.5 exported JPG. This was a year ago when I had been told it was best to export files with simple renumbering of them from 1 to x... instead of retaining the original RAW 4-digit file name.
I've currently lost the original files, and need to do a search for them via these 4 digits to see if I have them tucked away in any of my drives. I downloaded a metadata explorer, and it's telling me all the lightroom editing information, and everything else, but somehow does not have the simplest of information — that 4 digit original file name.
Am I grasping at straws or is there likely to be any way to find this information out? I don't work with metadata, so there wouldn't have been any customizations to how Lightroom configures this....hoping that's in my favor. Any help is much appreciated!!!!

A note about security (context: downloaded apps & plugins...).
    Anatomy of a URL:
    protocol://stuff.stuff.stuff.domain.domain-suffix/stuff/stuff?stuff=stuff
None of this stuff matters much except:
domain.domain-suffix (and protocol, to some extent).
So if you download something from:
    http://ignafradifcawhatyousay.toolonganyway.my.server.com/gogafnoics...
It's coming from server.com using http (web) protocol.
But, if you download it from:
    http://my.server.com.badguy.tv/...
It's coming from badguy.tv, NOT server.com, so if you want it from server.com - danger will robins...
    And, if you download from
    http://216.195.245.134/my.server.com
It's coming from an unregistered internet address (216.195.245.134) - again: danger...
(4 groups of up-to-3 digits separated by dots is the format for a literal internet (IP) address, instead of domain-name...)
Summary: if you learn the anatomy of a URL, and pay attention to the URL's you are clicking on, or entering directly, you can take more responsibility for security, and assure (to a greater extent) you don't download from an unfriendly source.
Disclaimer: I accept no legal responsibility for anything that happens as a result of anything written above...

  • Just installed LR5- not importing RAW files from a card

I just installed LR5 on a MAC.  I have pics to import from cards, one card loaded no problem, the next card brought up the images and when I go to import them I recieve a message saying "Some Import Operations Were not Performed."  giving me the following 2 errors (1) and (563)last night it was (1) and (504) and (505).  Seems like it is reading the images as it pulls them up, just not moving them.  I have reviewed everything from Permissions to loading the cards with no problem in LR4-  what can I try?

This could be a problem with the card reader, cable or the card itself. Can you try a different hardware connection and see if that works?
Of course, it could be other things as well.

  • How to upload Unicode encoding files from web?

    Hi everyone,
I do not manage to upload Unicode encoding CSV files from web. Currently I use class CL_HTMLB_MANAGER to upload file from web. It works fine with ANSI encoding files, but file content is not uploaded correctly with Unicode encoding files. Especially I get innumerable characters u201C#u201D throughout the string that contains the file content (For example instead of u201CSAP CATALOG CSV 2.0u201D I get u201CÿþS#A#P# #C#A#T#A#L#O#G# #C#S#V# #2#.#0#u201D).
I did not find in forums a solution to my issue that is why I am now asking for your help.
How can I upload Unicode encoding files from web? Do you know another way to upload file from web that is Unicode compatible?
Remark: I tried to upload Unicode encoding files from SAP GUI using function module GUI_UPLOAD and upload is successful.
Here is the code that I currently used.

    lr_event_ex =  cl_htmlb_manager=>get_event_ex( runtime->server->request ).

  • Upload raw files from iPad 2 to MacBook Pro

    iPad 2
    MacBook Pro 15" Mid 2012
    OS X 0.9.5
I thought this would be a simple process but apparently not.
How do I transfer my RAW files from my iPad to MacBook Pro?
    TIA
    Taff

A free app that can deal with music files is Songbird.
There are two paid apps that can transfer just about any type of file; TouchCopy and PhoneView
