How do i upload my swf/html to the web?

hello,
i was wondering if any1 could help...
im just designing my website using flash 8 and im new to both
flash and the ideas of getting flash onto the web.
ive designed a 'coming soon' page, which i have called index
and i want to place this on the net, whilst i carry on designing
the rest of the site. i have a domain name and a friend of mine who
runs a small internet based business has given my some space.
i dont understand how i get my swf/html pages onto my
website... ive searched within the pdf that comes with flash (help)
and also within a book that i have entitled 'learn flash within 24
hours', but i cant seem to find any information on how to upload a
flash site onto the internet.
can any1 help?

talk to your friend who give you the space. normally you need
a ftp
client for uploading your html and swf to your space.

I have iCloud turned on, location services on, find my phone works but when I try to access iCloud via Safari on the phone it takes me to a page Apple.com,
iCloud then three options
set up iCloud on my phone (i have)
Install Find my phone, it is installed and it works from my MBP
or install find my friends, I don't need that I have no friends.
my calendars and contacts and bookmarks and all are all sync'd and working on the phone, but i thought if I typed in iCloud.com on the phone in Safari I would go to my iCloud web page that looks like this on my Mac.
Is that NOT how iCloud should/would look on my phone via Safari?
This is maybe a dumb question after 3+ year of iPhone'ing

I've been playing with a Galaxy here at work and here's what I've found so far - please feel free to jump in and suggest alternative methods to configure or access the various icloud components.
So the original Q: Can you access your icloud account on Android?
Not entirely: the website can't be used from an android browser (not properly - even with Dolphin HD and posing as different browsers it won't load correctly. So Find my iphone is out, so is the address book or looking at your e-mail or calendar just in a browser window
I was able to setup my e-mail using the IMAP settings published here:

Be sure to setup the account manually - and note if you have trouble using SSL try TLS (that worked for me)
Address book is a no go so you'll have to use iTunes to sync all your contacts over to Gmail - if you still have an iPad it means managing contacts in two places though . iWork is an Apple proprietary bit so don't expect much there.
So in my case, if I'm really going to make the switch to a Galaxy from my iPhone it really means I'm going to have to switch to using google as the backend. The timing to swap over to a galaxy/android phone is not the greatest - given that I'd have to give up my Apple addiction (syncing photos and itunes and losing access to my device tracking). Plus I still have an iPad and a mac and like living in the Apple ecosystem. I think I'll wait and see what the new iPhone looks like before I commit

Hi this is the last hurdle for me. I created an swf and a HTML output. Localy it works when I double click the html except IE
keeps telling me I need to accept the plug in. Verry annoying. But if I put the HTML and the SWF on the website the HTML is blank no movie.
Can't think what is missing. I cut the HTML down to a minimum as well. Any ideas what would be missing that is needed. Tried the original generated html as well

I am not sure that I understand your question. You want to upload your database to the internet?
If that is the question, then you may want to use Oracle 9iAS Portal to pull information from your database and display them on the web.

How can I upload high resolution photos to MobileMe Web Gallery

Since upgrading to the latest iPhoto edition when I upload photos to MobileMe many of them appear as KB rather than their original MB, even though I choose the highest setting in Advanced before publishing. I did not have this probelm with earlier versions of iPhoto. Paul

How to prevent upload protected area dialog box for Web application

We ported our Java application to run on Netweaver CE 7.2. We have our own login page that performs its own authentication. When we try to login, we are presented with our login pagee but after entering the username and password, we get the following u201CUpload Protected Areau201D login dialog from Netweaver. How do we prevent this? We have set the login auth method as u201Cbasicu201D for the login-config in the web.xml. We also tried to set it to "form" but then after login we get a 404 error.
Lastly, we tried to diable the PUT protection as per thread prompt username and password for "Upload Protected Area" in web appl but this did not help either.

Which helps explain why it became a problem for my deployment. I'm suspecting that its a problem with Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 needing to have an exception for AcroRd32.exe. I hate to do it given its an infection path but we do what we must. I will update this post once I have verified that this is what the issue is.

BitmapData draw method doesn't work when the project is published as the .swf file of the web applic

        I am totally confused by this strange error. When I tried using the draw method of BitmapData to draw a movieclip symbol of my project, it seems to work fine locally. However, as I uploaded the published .swf file to my web server and launched it as the plugin of my web application, it failed. The source codes as follows,

My real purpose in this application is to capture a snapshot of a streaming video. The video is contained in a movieclip object. I tried stage first since BirmapData.draw() doesn't work when drawing the movieclip on the web site. Do you have any suggestion for this situation? Also, is there any good method to find out what happened if the browser have "Uncaught Error: Error calling method on NPObject."?

How can I get a printable list of the web sites in a tab showing both the name of the site and it's location?

I use tab groups for specific projects and would like to print/save a list of the websites used on each project. Using the list function on a tab group produces a list of the web-sites which can be printed/saved via PrtSc and Word. How can the web-site addresses be included? With this list available I would then close the tabs.

Someone might have created an add-on for this, although I didn't find one in a search.
Could I suggest this workaround for now:
(1) Use the Bookmark All Tabs feature (right-click a tab when your tab group is displayed) to save all tabs to a new folder on the bookmarks menu. Some tips in the "How do I bookmark all of my open tabs?" section of this article: [[How to use bookmarks to save and organize your favorite websites]].
(2) Export bookmarks to an HTML file. Unfortunately, this will be all bookmarks, not just the ones you want, but hang in there. This article has the steps: [[Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file to back up or transfer bookmarks]].
(3) Open the exported HTML file in Firefox or your favorite WP program. Now you can either:
(A) Copy/paste the live links for your tab group into your preferred form of archival storage. Or
(B) Print (e.g., select the relevant bookmarks and use the Print Selection feature). However, in order to show the URLs, you need to hack the page a little bit.
(i) In Firefox, you can run a little script in the Web Console on the bookmarks page. Press Ctrl+Shift+k to open the web console. Copy the following line of script, then paste it next to the caret (">") in the web console and press Enter. The URLs should appear after the links.

How to secure my report i published on the web

I installed Oracle10g Reports and forms standalone on my server and successfully published all my reports on it.
Question:
Can someone pls tell me how can I secure my reports on the web. looks like anyone can just copy my link and paste it on the web broswer and can open it.
i.e. http://<server_name>:7778/reports/rwservlet?report=<report_name>.rdf&destype=cache&desformat=html&userid=<user_name>/<password>@<dbname>&paramform=yes
Also, I did save the user id and password in cgicmd.dat file. But is it possible to have the web page prompt for a user id and password for the database or something everytime i try to open the link...Please respond ASAP..it required...

It is possible to show web page where userid has to be entered before running the report. Please specify "userid=" in the URL or in the command file (cgicmd.dat) to get db prompt. For example,

Other option secure it is either to use OracleAS Single Sign-On or security plugin. Uploading fillable PDF form to the web

I have created a fillable PDF form in Acrobat 9, which opens fine as a fillable PDF from my desktop. I also uploaded it to our website but when i open it up from the web; it is no longer fillable. Can you tell me how to fix this?

That really depends on how a user (client) machine is set up, as opposed to something you can do on the web server. For example, the user can configure Acrobat/Reader so that it does not open in their browser, but rather directly in Acrobat/Reader. Or they can set things up so that PDFs are always downloaded and not automatically opened in Acrobat/Reader. You could provide instructions for downloading the PDF on the page that has the link to your form.
