How do I upload videos to Youtube from my iMac? The videos were taken on my Iphone.
I need to make some videos I took available to an online class. The videos were taken on my Iphone and uploaded onto my Imac, and I want to either upload them to Youtube or Vimeo. Youtube says that I am using an unsupported file. {IMG.} Can anyone explain to me how to convert them so that they're uploadable? Thanks so much!

miniDVD Cameras are not to use when one wants to edit the material
they are built for - direct playback
iMovie and FinalCut needs miniDV (tape) Cameras with a FW-out
Your Camera probably doesn't have FW out but USB and analog out.
You can: load Your movie file into the Mac via a DVD-reader that is not slot loaded
and from here use converting programs to get a file-type that iM or FCE/P
can read (With quality losses)
or
Connect an A/D-box from analog-out on Camera and FW to Mac.
Also with quality losses.
Recommendation Primary: Exchang Camera to a miniDV (tape) one
really the best way.

Photo Stream does not do videos. For videos, you must import to your computer. You can use iPhoto to import them.

What app did you use to create the .mov file? Apps like iMove or Final Cut Pro X have options to Share to iTunes to create a compatible version for the iPad. If you don't have the option to export the file again, then try the steps outlined in this article:
