How can I use adobe flash player on iPad2
How can I use adobe flash player on iPad 2?
You cannot. Adobe does not make it for ipad.
This has been discussed over and over and over and over and over and over again on these forums. Please do a forums search - right side of this page.
There is no need to add yet another thread on this very tired subject.
Adobe has announces d that they are selling a platforms that will allow ipad users to view flash content. This is nothing that users will have. The developer of the video will have to do this. -
How do I download adobe flash player for ipad
How do I download adobe flash player for ipad?
And yet the most common asked for feature is adobe flash.
just compare the posts on this forum alone, can you find a more asked for feature?
You guys been claiming the death of flash since 2007. Yet today Google and Microsoft both are baking it into their browser.
This site was created less than a year ago, http://www.pottermore.com/ by one of the wealthiest people on the planet, and it uses Flash, what is your excuse for them not using something else? Is she stupid? can't afford it? I'd say it's because it's the best platform for the job.
You will also need Adobe® Flash Player 10+ if you want to experience everything that Pottermore has to offer. -
Why can't u use adobe flash player with iPad II ?
I use adobe flash player a good bit on my pc but I cannot download it from my ipadII why?
it's an Internet Browser add-on and apple doesn't allow any add-ons for the Safari Application due to security issues, certain add-ons could give potential spyware, virus, or other things to get your personal information.
Apple computers allow add-ons because typically people aren't using their computer to make emergency phone calls and things like that like they do from the mobile devices, so the computers can afford to get errors and crash while it would be a huge liability for Apple to allow the phone's potential harm. -

A safe alternative to use adobe flash player on iPad
I have found that there are some alternative browser options/apps out there that will allow you to function on iOS with sites that use adobe flash. Im wondering if this is a good idea, since I need to use it with a particular budgeting/bill pay site that is linked to my banking accounts? I use this site every day to pay bills, budget and track spending, but it will not work on ipad or iphone due to requiring flash. This is one of the few things that makes me consider replacing my old laptop with another PC vs going to a second ipad in our home. I have to have access to this site when I am away from my mac or other PC. Just wondering if it is a safe and secure idea to use one of the alternate browsers like Puffin, or another work around app since Im dealing with financial information?
No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.
Here is Steve Jobs official comment on his momentous decision to omit Flash from iDevices: Steve Jobs on Flash.
Here is Adobe's later announcement to cease development of Flash for mobile devices: Adobe on Mobile Flash.
Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.
Apps that can display some Flash from the Web:
1. Puffin
2. SkyFire
3. Photon Flash
4. Browse2Go
5. Swifter
Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that." -

How to successfully install and use Adobe Flash Player on an iMac?
I have the latest OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. It makes actually several years that I have not been able to view videos that use Adobe Flash Player. This is true of several sports websites I like such as ATPtour.com and ESPN.com. A few days ago I have upgraded my OS to the most current one. And, I retried downloading Adobe Flash Player and it made no difference. I tried to see the videos using numerous different browzers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) with no success.
I know Steve jobs hated Adobe Flash Player because it was so inefficient. But, I thought one could still use it with Mac computers. Are you guys having as much difficulty as I am? If not what are the solutions to running Adobe Flash Player? Thank you in advance for your information. -
How to use adobe Flash Player offline within a webpage?
I am connected to a network that has no internet access. I am trying to demonstrate a product that is uses adobe flash player within the webpage. The webpage first goes to "http://fpdownload.adobe.com/strobe/FlashMediaPlayback.swf" file and then goes to the stream. Is there anyway to download that file and store it locally to get the stream to work properly? Is there a standalone flash player that does not require GET to the swf file to start streaming the media? What would be the best way to go about this issue?
There IS a standalone Flash Player but is's part of Flash Professional. You'd need to purchase it (or download a 30 day trial, but I don't know if the Flash Player would keep working after the trial expires).

How can I see Web sites using Adobe Flash Player with my IPad?
I've realised that it's not possible to visit web sites using Adobe Flash Player.
Is There a program by which Apple allows you to solve this problem? Not from Apple, no, and probably never will be. You can try one of the third-party app/service combinations for playing Flash such as Skyfire , Puffin, or iSwifter. One of those might work for you, though they all have limitations and do not work with all Flash-based sites and services. You may find other suggestions for apps in the many other threads on Flash in this forum.

Do I have to manually uninstall 10.42.34? Then download 10.0.45.2?
Or if I just go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download version 10.0.45.2 will remove the older version?
It confuses me because on this page
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html#Uninstall%20previous
it says that "
Before you install Flash Player for any Windows browser, uninstall all previous versions and restart your computer. For instructions on removing the player, please see "How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control" (TechNote tn_14157)."
then gives you this to run
Windows: uninstall_flash_player.exe
so do I need to use this uninstaller first? Then reboot, the install the new version?Theoretically, updating to the latest Flash Player should remove all previous versions. However, that does not always work. I often find old OCX files in people's systems.
I always use the uninstaller, reboot if there are any files left in the Flash folder, then install the latest version. Never had any problem with this method on any of my machines.
