I've bought a car that's got a car kit built in but no cradle,the description says GSM/CK/NOK6110-NOKIA 5110/6110/6210/6310/7110 GSM CKIT.
What cradle would I need to get?
How would I attach it? and are there any new phones that would be compatible?
Is the 6110 the same as the 6110 Navigator and if so would that be like Sat Nav?

It's good to read Antoniad's post. It reassures me that I can use my new iPad as an international communication device which is the reason I purchased the thing. However, I called Verizon today (my provider of cellular data) who told me that I can't just pop in a SIM card as you suggested. He also said that he was from the "Pre-Pay" division of Verizon and he was certain that I couldn't do what I planned to do. I was extremely disappointed as I had called Apple prior to buying the iPad and I read the algorhythm on the website for choosing an iPad before purchasing. Those sources were quite specific and the information seemed clear. I would be able to use my iPad to communicate through cellular connections while traveling on the road, literally, abroad. I was told that I could pop in a data card wherever I was, just as you indicated in your message above, and voila I was good to go. The Verizon rep definitively rained on that parade, but said that I might be able to do this if I have a "Post-Pay" account, a different area of Verizon. I haven't had the chance to talk to this division yet, so I looked to Apple's Support for answers. Maybe I will find out that I can use my iPad as an international communication device while traveling on the road afterall, however, it appears I may need a different type of account (Post-Pay), something I was never warned about. Can I switch to this kind of account? I don't know. I have to find out. If you have any information about this issue, it would be good to share since I strongly suspect there are others who bought the iPad for the same purpose that I have.

The only RF system in the +iPod touch+ is Wifi you'll need a 3rd party adaptor to work witn your FM car radio. Depending on the type the old iTrip may work.

How can I use a sound file on one slide, which fades to another sound file on the next?
I am trying to make a slide show that begins with a certain sound file, which then I hope to fade out to the second slide which uses a different sound file, I've followed Apple's online tutorials, but what happens is I get two sound files playing simultaneously. Also, I'd like to add sounds files to different individual slides throughout the presentation, which I want to play independently from the entire slide show's sound track. I have programmed the slides to change automatically. Is there any way I can have multiple sound files on multiple slides all playing independently, without playing over the top of the previous sound file? I imagine this is a simply task, so my apologies if this is the case. Thanks in advance for any help!
kind regards,Getting sound to work right in Keynote requires a basic understanding that:
1. Sound played during slide transitions (from one slide to the next) must be placed in the Document Inspector > Audio > Soundtrack Well - there can only be one audio file and it plays across all slides
2. Additional sounds files can be placed on individual slides as sound objects - each object can have build-in and build-out assignments, but sound files need at least a Build-In > Start Audio (done in the Build Inspector) - each object, wether a shape, image, sound or movie can have discrete start timing such that the start of one sound object can be delayed X seconds after the previous event. This can be used to avoid overlapping starts or playing. If you know the length of each sound file object, you can adjust the start to occur after the end of a previous sound using the Build Inspector. Click on the More Options Button to display the event build-order list and click on the event to reveal how the build starts and add any delays to start there.
3. Keynote does not have a Fade Feature - any fade-in or fade-out (sound up/sound down) of audio files must be done to the sound file using third party applications and then brought into Keynote. If you'd like to join the crowd wishing Apple might add this feature in the future, you can provide feedback to Apple here:

4. If you need an audio file to play across a few slides and another audio file to play across another few slides, break the presentation into seperate documents, place the audio in the soundtrack well for each document and then add a hyperlink object to connect to the next Keynote document in the series. Note: all files must be "opened" in the background and ready to play or else the next file will attempt to start but stall just when you don't need it to.

I just wanted to see if there was a way for me to use the drum sounds provided in garageband to create my own original drum tracks and work with it like a drum machine that i can program an entire song into... any info or tutorials would be a great help.. Ah ok, I have a better idea of what you want to do now.
Unfortunately there isn't anything inside GB that can come anywhere close to Acoustica Beatcraft, but there are two tools inside Garageband that can help you do something similar.
First are the built-in keyboards, which will enable you to trigger drum samples with your computer keyboard or mouse. Go to Window -> Keyboard or Window -> Musical Typing. Click with your mouse on the Keyboard or press keys on your computer keyboard with Musical Typing, and you will trigger different drum samples for whatever kit you've chosen for that software track.
Next is the Track Editor: in Piano Roll mode, you can create and see midi notes somewhat similar to the view in this screenshot from AB. On the left side of the Editor, you will see a sideways piano keyboard. When you assign a drum kit to a software track, each of the piano keys corresponds to a different instrument: hi hat, snare, bass drum, etc---you'll have to play them using the on-screen keyboard or musical typing to see what they correspond to. In order to add a MIDI note you hold the CMD button and click with the mouse.
So, if you wanted to add a closed hi-hat hit, you would CMD-click on the Track Editor row corresponding to the closed hi-hat piano key, and then you can drag the MIDI note left & right to change the beat it plays on, or resize the note, which will change its duration.
Or, as you've already observed, you can use Musical Typing to play out a pattern on your computer keyboard while recording, and you will see the midi notes appear in real time in the Track Editor.

I own an iPhone 4S and an iPod, I just purchased an alarm clock which has a sync adapter made for the new iphone 5 which has a different size sync. Is their anything I can buy that will allow the two devices to work together or do I need to return the alarm clock?

Has anyone else used the WireTunes Axxess IPOD Car Kit?
I have recently installed this hookup in my vehicle. it's pretty cool and works well. it displays the song title and info on my xm ready stereo. The only problem i have is when i skip to the next song it skips one too many and skips over the next to the next song. Does anyone have this product and have you had similar problems?
that is true Angela...toyota uses the same unit for all the cars...the only issue they seem to have is when trying to integrate with the toyota's that have the factory NAV system, or the built in 5 disk changer in the dash.. I think the most flexible unit that I have found is this one....

It allows you to use 2 different modes, one being direct control from the iPod, none of the others that I have found allow you complete control from the head unit, they all seem to want you to make up multiple playlists and treat those lists as a CD's in a trunk mounted cd changer...which to me seems a bit clunky. -

I created lock object for user defined table (zconsist). The system automatically created 2 FM's (Enquiue & Dequeue).
I created a new TCode and accessing this with mulitple users to do some updates and inserts in that above table.
I used INSERT ZCONSIST statement in 5 places in my program (4 include programs).
Where do I use These FM's? and How do I use them?
I mean before inserting which FM I need to use? after immediately what fm used?.

SAP Provide three type of Lock objects.
Read Lock(Shared Locked)
protects read access to an object. The read lock allows other transactions read access but not write access to

Write Lock(exclusive lock)
protects write access to an object. The write lock allows other transactions neither read nor write access to

Enhanced write lock (exclusive lock without cumulating)
works like a write lock except that the enhanced write lock also protects from further accesses from the

You can create a lock on a object of SAP thorugh transaction SE11 and enter any meaningful name start with EZ Example EZTEST_LOCK.
Use: you can see in almost all transaction when you are open an object in Change mode SAP could not allow to any other user to open the same object in change mode.
Example: in HR when we are enter a personal number in master data maintainance screen SAP can't allow to any other user to use same personal number for changes.
Technicaly:
When you create a lock object System automatically creat two function module.
1. ENQUEUE_<Lockobject name>. to insert the object in a queue.
2. DEQUEUE_<Lockobject name>. To remove the object is being queued through above FM.

N73 and voice dialing using Bluetooth car kit
Hi,
I have a N73 using v3.0638.0.0.01, its a vodafone phone. I have it set up with my CK-7W car kit and it works great except when I want to make a call. If I try and use voice dialling through the car kit it never finds my contact and simply say "no match found". If I put the phone directly in front of me and oice dial using the car kit it works.
Everything worked fine until the firmware was updated and I have restred my contacts from backup. The problem here is not that voice dialling isn't working, per se, but that it wont interact with the car kit since the firmware was updated.
Any ideas folks.
ChrisI have an iPhone 3G 16gig. I just bought a Kensington Liquid AUX Bluetooth Car Kit, paired everything up, and tested it out in the garage. The only downside (at that point) was that the included remote only controlled start and stop, not forward and back tracks. Later I tested it on the road and thought my ears were playing tricks on me when I heard the music changing pitch. Once I figured out it wasn't me, I changed tracks and even tried streaming radio and still, pitch up/pitch down, song faster/song slower. I noticed it got markedly worse when I tried to use another program while having the ipod play in the background, which makes me think it is a hardware issue; possibly the processor speed or "RAM" or however iPhones work. I am planning on trying it with my ipod and a bluetooth attachment I have for it to see if the music distorts. If it is the hardware on the phone, looks like apple forgot to mention as a selling point that the faster innards are needed for true A2DP stereo bluetooth! Another part of their brilliant scheme I guess!

How to used attached pll in form 10g
I have install 10g form server & report server in redhat.and now I migrated my appl from win2k to redhat.
I found a form which used attached plx, can't complited.

I complited attanched HR_SYS_F.pll to HR_SYS_F.plx at FORMS_PATH.
I set FORMS_PATH in .bash_profile, frmcmp_batch.sh,default.env.But all no to work.
It still error of : can't find the attached pll: HR_SYS_F.CALL_DATE_SET.
but this form ,I can complited it normal in win.
how can I skip this error?Have you double-checked the one Form to ensure the Library is still attached? Also, when the Library was attached - was it attached in such a way that it recorded the path to the library (typically, when you attach a library - Forms will ask if you want to record the path (Y/N))?

I forgot to add, sometimes, just simply deleting the attached library and re-attaching it will fix the issue. -

The if statement in LabVIEW is the Case structure. You can find that on the Structures palette right next to the For Loop. If you're still on the same subject about terminating a for loop early, then what you do is enclose your functions inside the loop with a case statment and make one of the case's empty except for one or more constants that you might have to wire. Hopefully, the attached picture will explain what I mean. Also, as I mentioned in one of your other posts, I think this technique is not as good as using a while loop. The array in the attached example is the same size no matter what and you may have to handle stripping extra or invalid elements.
