How do I use credit that I have with the App store to purchase music from the Apple store in iTunes?
That's the question - I understand that I can use credit that i have on the App store to make purchases in the iTunes Apple Store but I dont know how to do it. If I select and album there is no option presented to allow me to access the App Store credit to make the payment. How is it done?

The credit that is on your account can be used to buy items from the app store, iTunes store, ibookstore and (if you have a Mac) the Mac App Store. As long as you are buying the music for yourself (you can't use an account's balance to gift content) then your account's balance should be used before your credit card is charged - just click on the price to buy it and it's price should be deducted from your balance.

However, does this mean my purchases will be split into 2 accounts; or does the fact that I currently see everything under my apple id (regardless of the purchased by username) mean this will all still appear in my current account as it does now?You see them where when you login your non-AOL account ?
If you currently have two accounts (the AOL username account and an email address account) then you will continue to have two accounts, and nothing should change when you update the AOL account to be an email address (apart from how you access that account).
You will just be renaming the account to have an email address for accessing it, not creating a new account. -

How can i use Mail on 2 macs with the same mail address?

I have two Macs, connected through WLAN. From each Mac I can use Mail (sending and receiving) with the same mail address. This worked well; on each Mac I have separate files storing the mails (input, sent, trash, …).
Some days ago I had to change the provider. (Perhaps this may be the reason for my problem?) Now both mail systems are connected - in the way that if I put on Mac *1 a mail into the trash it is automatically thrown into the trash on Mac *2.
What is to be done to separate the two systems (i. e. make them independent of each other)?

How can I use a shared library made with the application builder?

I am using LabVIEW 7.1 running on Slackware 10.1 (kernel 2.4.29) and I am trying to call a graph display from a C program that I use for debugging VME access from a VMIVME controler. So using the application builder I built the VI as a shared library (graph.vi -> graph.so) containing a function called "graph". In my main program the call to the dlopen fails with the error: "graph.so: undefined symbol: UninitLVClient". When I examin graph.so with nm I see that UninitLVClient and other LabVIEW functions are indeed undefined and using ldd shows that graph.so has dependencies only on libc.so.* and *linux*.so.* but not on LabVIEW related stuff. Those functions are defined in the liblv.so that's in the cintools directory but I have no idea if the user is supposed to use that.
So I think I am missing an important concept here. Can somebody help or direct me to some documentation (I found lots of information about how to link external code to LabVIEW but nothing about how to link LabVIEW code to an external program)?Thanks Watermann,
your message has been very useful so now I am linking to the proper library but I still have problems when trying to load dynamically the shared library produced with LabVIEW. It is strange that I could successfully load the lvrt library at loading time but it does not work when I am loading the library at execution time.
I made a small LabVIEW program that prints a hello window and I am calling it from a C program. In the first program main.c I am linking to the lvrt library at loading time and it works but in the second one I am linking dynamically at execution time and it does not work. For my work I need to be able to load code done in LabVIEW at execution time. Any help is appreciated!

I have an old work e mail address that was a primary apple id. The App Store uses this as a default. I have created a new apple ID and changed this in the settings but the App Store still defaults to the old address. How can I get change this as I cannot update anything at this stage. I cannot create a new password against the ole apple ID as the e mail is no longer valid, old work e mail
Hi tried the various options but ended up deleting the apps associated with the old Appleid and then accessing them from the App Store and reloading. They automatically asked for the new Appleid and password.

My credit card has a charge on it for a particular day/time from APL *APPLE ITUNES. The charged amount and date/time of the charge do not ring any bells with me and I don't have kiddos that would be charging downloads or whatever. How do I find out what the charges were actually for? I've tried to figure it out in the iTunes store, but not having much luck. I'm new to this iPhone 'thing". Please help.

How many Apple IDs do you have? The prompt should show you a few letters from the email address to remind you. You can always reset your password using this page:
https://appleid.apple.com/
Resetting the password will require that you have access to the email address associated with the AppleID or that you remember your security questions.
If you cannot reset the password , take it to an Apple Store with your proof of purchase and they may help you.

I purchased Lightroom 5 thru Adobe and got my box with the key, registration info and install disk. I have a new computer that happens to not have a CD nor DVD reader, is there anywhere online I can initially install the program to then enter in my purchased key since I have no way to insert this disk?
Just download and install the trial copy of Lr 5.6, and then use the key you have to activate it.

Back when I had to do something like that, I used Copytrans, http://www.copytrans.net/. You might see if they are what you want.
At worst, you could open the ipod classic in disk mode, locate the music files, copy them to your hard disk (they won't have good names), and just add them to your library. You'll probably lose play counts and *s with that approach, but it should work. -

Authorize your computer for both accounts, then transfer the purchases to the computer: File>Transfer Purchases
You cannot change the account, but you can put them in the same library. -
