If you mean the Blank starting page for Safari, you can tap open the box with the arrow ion Safari when visiting a Page to Bookmark it and add it to the Favorites list. It will then appear in the Favorites start page for Safari when you open a new tab.
If you mean your Phones home screen where your Apps are you can use the same process except tapping on Add to Homescreen instead of Bookmark.

I am trying to figure out that how to use connection pool within the JSP pages if I want to connect to the database. In the servlets i am using DBConnectionBroker pool = (DbConnectionBroker) getServletContext().getAttribute("dbPool") to get database connection. How Can i use this in JSP page to get a db connection.

That's not correct -- Pages 5.0 does work with MathType 6.7e. (You didn't say what version you're using, but I'll assume Pages 5.0.) With MathType installed, there should be an Insert MathType Equation command in the Edit menu of Pages.
However...
That's not to say the marriage of Pages and MathType is perfect. We're hearing reports that some people are having no trouble at all, and some people aren't able to edit old equations, while some people can edit old equations but can't insert new ones. Some customers have reported that if they open Pages first, then MathType, it doesn't work, but if they open MathType before Pages, it works.
We don't have any explanation for all of this. Many times it's due to the computer's software configuration, but since Pages 5.0 requires a fairly new Mac running OS X 10.9 Mavericks, there's not much that can go wrong with the configuration. We're investigating it, but you should also let Apple know if you're having problems. You can do this very easily with their Pages feedback form: http://www.apple.com/feedback/pages.html

Great question . Here's what worked.
Step 1: Create a Pages document on your Mac.
If you don't have a Mac, here's a link to an example iCloud Pages document (I'll keep this link active for as long as I can, but no guarantees!). If you open the link via iOS, you'll get an option to open it in the Pages app (instead of Safari).
Step 2: Open the iCloud Pages document on iOS, and go to the Lists section by tapping the paintbrush icon.
Step 3: You now have Harvard Listing enabled!!!

How can I create a new format in pages?

Basically this comes from trying to change the vertical indentation on pages. (Like you can change the horizontal, you know? I just wanted to make the text field smaller on all sides. Incidentally, if you know how to do a vertical indentation change, I'd be all ears.)
Anyway, apparently you can't do that, so....
I've got a set up that I want (two text boxes linked so that text spills over to the next) but I want this to be on every succeeding page without having to create the page all over again with new text boxes.
Is there any way to .... I don't know .... "automate" might be the right word, this first page set up so that it's automatic when my text fills the two boxes?

Two separate questions.
1. "Vertical indentation"
Word processing document: Set the Document's top margin to a larger number. Highest I tried was 8" on a US Letter sized page, giving a 3" band for text. Graphic objects placed outside (above) this margin do appear on the display and on a Preview of the print, but I didn't check if they make it through to the printed page.
Or use a borderless, colourless shape with default Wrap properties to fill the space where you do not want text to appear.
Page Layout: All text is in Text boxes. Size and position of each box may be set as you wish.
2.Linking Text boxes
Word processing document: Text boxes are independent objects if they have not been created as linked. You can add more linked boxes to a chain of linked boxes, but they will not reproduce themselves. New pages are added as text fills the base text area of the page, but the only objects appearing on the new page are those that have been set as Master Objects. These are not useful in your case, as the Master objects are exact copies (including content) of the original.
Page Layout document: If you Capture a page containing a pair of linked text boxes, that page becomes available in the menu of the Pages button in the Toolbar. The two boxes on a new pages will be linked to each other, but not to the original pair. To join the new boxes to the chain, click on the last box in the chain, then click on the first new box. The link will be added, and any excess text will flow into the new box(es).
NOTE: Not thoroughly explored. Do some experimenting.

How do I use one layer for multiple pages?

I've been using Photoshop to create a series of web pages. I have about 20 such pages right now.
Unfortunately, I need to change the navigation menu that is found on all 20 pages.
To make these changes, do I need to change 20 different files? Or is there a way to link one layer group to multiple PSD files so that editing it once results in it changing on all 20 pages?

You'll have to make some sort of change to each document, but it should only take a few minutes when there's only 20 of them. You edit the group in one, then for each of the others, simply duplicate or drag the edited group into it and delete the old group.
There is also the option of structuring your workflow with Smart Objects which can be refreshed in each document with a common document containing only the menu group. For linking of Smart Object content, there is a third party plug-in but I don't know whether it is reliable.

PREVIEW How do I use it to assemble PDF pages into a book? I used to be able to do it, but now the pages do not follow on one after another.

I used to be able to load PDF pages into Preview to make a book and to see the pages follow one after the other. Now the pages stay separate even when the file is saved and opened in either Adobe reader or Preview.

Are you going to the thumbnail view and dragging the separate PDF's onto the top one so they combine?

Special character palette from the edit menu does have sigmas under European ... > Greek ...
You can do a search at the bottom of the Special Character palette. Double click on the greek capital letter sigma. You will get a lot of sigmas.

How do I use Dreamweaver CC 2014.1 Live View to copy complex formatted text into web page?

Since Design View has been removed from Fluid Grid Layouts, and could be removed completely in next upgrade, I cannot use Live View to place complex text into my web pages.
Our business requires the listing of complex job descriptions on our web pages. Design View worked fine, Live View does not. Both examples are noted below.

Obviously, as seen above, I'm doing something wrong or Live View does not do all the functions that Design View use to do. I realize I can still access Design View in non-Fluid Grid Layout documents and that is my current work-around. I copy from my Word file into Design View available in non-Fluid, then copy that code into my Fluid Grid Layout document, not real efficient use of my time. And, even that work-around may not be available after the next upgrade.

However, I do not believe the reply is on point since I'm not discussing the insertion of an HTML tag/element; but rather, the placing of complex formatted text into my various web pages.
Design View and 2014.1 Live View seem to serve different functions. That is, Design View, for us, serves as a highly sophisticated HTML5 code generator that allows us to properly display complex formatted text that originally is created as a Word docx file. As I noted in my original post, the complex formatted text from the Word file is then pasted into Design View and thus properly renders on the web page. I invite you to try this yourself. Simply copy my properly formatted text in my original post (that can be found at "Using Design View the web page rendered this way:") to a Word file, and it will retain the complex formatting, then copy that Word file text to both Design View and 2014.1 Live View files. Please apprise me of your results.
Discussion has been had in at least two separate threads on the Design View disappearance in Fluid Grid. In https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1597260 staff member Lalita wrote "It would be helpful for us if you list the issues you are seeing with fluid grid live view editing." And in https://forums.adobe.com/message/6807088#6807088 staff member Subhadeep wrote "If you can list down the workflows you are trying while editing in Live View & the issues you are facing in doing so, it will help us understand what is amiss & suggest alternative workflows to do the same." I believe I've pointed out issues when attempting to use Live View for functions or work flow that customarily had been done in Design View.
Being a CC subscriber, if someone can provide me with a workflow using other additional Adobe products to get my complex formatted text from Word ultimately to my Dreamweaver web page, be it an image insert or whatever, I would take the suggestions.

It is readily apparent that Design View is a much needed code generator in the Dreamweaver product. Live View serves completely other, and needed, purposes. Therefore, I still, after all the forum discussions, do not understand why Design View has been removed from Fluid Grid.
Again Hans thank you for your reply. But unless I'm missing something, citation to the links you provided does not solve my problem. And that problem is this: If Design View is on its way out and thus will be completely removed from Dreamweaver at some point, then how do I provide my information (i.e. complex executive job descriptions) on my website?
Apparently a vote is taking place https://forums.adobe.com/ideas/3922 on the issue of placing Design View back into Fluid Grid. I do not understand why the need for two rather disjunctive functionalities are at the mercy of the democratic process. These are matters of engineering principles not "town hall gatherings".
