How Do I Use iTunes For More Than 1 iPhone?

My wife just upgraded her phone to the iPhone 5 and wanted to download all of her apps to the new phone. I though it would be as simple as logging into her iTunes account through the iTunes software on my PC and then just download them through the program. But of course nothing is simple when dealing with Apple. Instead of simply listing the apps associated with her iTunes account it lists a bunch of random apps from my iPhone. How do I see the iTunes apps associated with her account? Right now it seems like the only option is to go into the iTunes store through her phone and download each app individually.

That doesn't make any sense. She's logged into iTunes, We shouldn't have to create separate accounts on our PC. That should be handled by the iTunes software. If I log into say Netflix from my friends computer it will go to MY Netflix account. I wouldn't need to create an entire profile on his PC just to access my account.

Recently my son has aquired an ipod touch, he needs to be able to use itunes so he used my computer, however all my apps and music synced to his device, I managed to sort it out but when I plugged my ipod in I lost all my music and ended up with just his music.

If you use the same iTunes account, you can do it just by ensiring that the devices have different names. Then just go to the various panes (Apps, music etc.) and check the boxes so that only selected items sync to the iPod.

TS4268 Why have I been charged for iMessage activation now, when I have been using iMessage for more than one year?

I received a message on my iPhone saying that some charges could be applied due to activiation of iMessage. My question is: why have I been charged now, if I had already activated iMessage and I have been using it for more than a year.

PS CS5 keeps crashing if i don't use it for more than 5mins

i'm having trouble with the new ps cs5, it keeps crashing every 5-10mins if i don't use it... i've install it in a new machine at work and since then it keeps crashing if i don't use it for more than 5+mins... it's really frustrating when this happens.. is there anyone having the same problem and can someone shed some lights on why this keeps happening to me please?

Use of same iTune for more than one iPod

I need to find out whether I can use the same itune in one computer for more than one iPod nano and one iPod video?

I looked at the article, but it doesn't help me know how once I have downloaded onto a nano, for example, the itunes knows that the next thing I connect is something different. My son hooked up his 20GB ipod last night after updating his sister's nano and now the itunes thinks his ipod is a nano. How do I get the itunes to recognize his ipod as the 20GB it is?

Vista/Win7 - Using Aero for more than window decoration?

I was wondering if it's possible to use the 'glass' effect in java as found under Windows Vista and 7.
For example, windows explorer uses the glass effect for more than just the window decoration, there is also a bit below the titlebar containing the addressfield/navigation buttons/searchbar.
Is it possible to create something similar looking in Java? I realise this will kill off multi-platform support, but that can be worked around in other ways.
So far I've discovered that the dwmapi is needed to access the feature, but I'm unable to find a java implementation of it and don't have the knowledge to write my own.
So are are any libraries out there for this purprose, or does anyone have a simple example?

so that's C++, VB and C# so far, still haven't found how to do it in java.Thats correct, if you want Vista aero effects only in your application, then you have to turn to platform specific languages like C#.
For java, you can make your own effects. So, what is your goal? using Vista Aero or making a good looking application?
For learning how to make good looking applications in java, one of the best books is ' [Filthy Rich Clients|http://filthyrichclients.org/] '. It discusses how you can make use of java libraries like Swing, Java2D, Java3D, animation libraries, etc. to develop nice applications. Check the examples given at the site (I like the StackLayout example). They made a 'Filthy Rich Client' also, called Aerith. (Check this)
I remember this book also discusses how you can achieve blurry translucent (Vista like) effect for Swing dialog. Its source is given on the same site, I also found its source here. So you can try it out, and check how java's aero looks like ;-)

Please check [this out.|http://javafx.com/samples/SwirlingSquares/index.html] And yes, JavaFX makes your application look really cool without much effort (I have not yet learned it, just saw the demos). You can also try out the demos of JavaFX here.
So, its up to you, Java can make your application look good, but without making use of Vista Aero.

I'm unclear on what you're talking about, because you keep on talking about users and clients... how many actual machines need the software? Note that the number of users on a particular machine is unimportant. There is no limitation on that based on the licensing.

How to Disable "Use itunes for internet playback"?

I accidentally clicked the SET button in itunes which defaults itunes for internet playback.
I do not want this.
How do I revert back?

Here's one way around it. For example, open iTunes, open the radio playlist and drag any station to the desktop. Highlight the icon, and click Command i. In the Info window there is a command "Open with:" It probably has iTunes as the default. If so, hold down the arrow for a menu of applications to choose from. (Mine has RealPlayer and Quicktime available.) If those aren't listed, choose "Other.." A window will open with available applications. Choose one and close the Info window. Open the application you've chosen. The controls will appear. Click Command o (Open). In the desktop window choose your radio station and play. I hope this works for you. It should work for any streaming source. Now if some body could tell me how to stop those irritating "rebuffering" interruptions, that'd be great.

How do I use iTunes for 2 different iPods?

I just got my sister her first iPod, but her daughter's iPod is already set up on her computer. So we want to enable iTunes to support 2 iPods.
I was told that the only way to do this is to select certain playlists to be synched with one iPod and other playlists with the second iPod. However, I don't know how to do this.
My greatest concern is that as soon as I plug in one iPod it will automatically download all files. How does iTunes distinguish one iPod from the other?

There are a couple of methods for using more than one iPod on a single computer. Method one which has already been described is to have two Mac or Windows user accounts which by definition would give you two completely separate libraries. Method two is to set your preferences so that either one or both iPods get updated with only certain playlists within one library. Another option when using a single library is to set one or both of the iPods to manual update: Managing content manually on iPod
Choosing the update option "automatically update selected playlists only" allows you to create a playlist specifically for each iPod and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used by the other iPod. Make your playlist a Smart playlist and limit the size to just below the advertised capacity of your iPod ( for example, around 3700MB for a 4GB or 1800MB for a 2GB Mini or Nano). The trick is to combine classTyler's conditional <tt>class</tt> technique with a custom named column report template.

Hello all, hoping you can help me.
I have itunes on an old ( and therefore very slow!) laptop. Hoping to get a new laptop soon, but can I just install itunes on this new one and use it with my ipod?
My ipod is set to update manually so I think it should be ok. Just don't want to do it before asking just in case I lose my music!

You're welcome. One word of caution though if you are using an iPod that holds more than your computer and you want to fill it to capacity. If you delete songs from your PC and have no back up other than the iPod you will risk losing them permanently if your iPod fails or you find you have to restore it to solve a problem. You should consider investing in an external hard drive to store/back up your music. Alternatively at the very least back up songs you can't replace such as iTunes downloads to CD or DVD. My sister and I have different user accounts on our PC. I recently just got an iPod nano, while she has owned one for a few months. After I installed iTunes on my account, it erased iTunes on her account and deleted all of her iTunes playlists. Download Header using GUI_DOWNLOAD for more than 100 fields

I want to download data with header from a database table using the FM 'GUI_DOWNLOAD'.
I know that this can be achieved by
1. Download headers first to an internal table and call FM ' GUI_DOWNLOAD"
2. then Download data to the same file by calling FM 'GUI_DOWNLOAD' with APPEND = 'X'
But my database table has more than 100 fields, pls tell me how to download all the fields as header information.

This can be done using the FM GUI_DOWNLOAD.
Store all the field names in a internal table, pass the internal table to FIELDNAMES component of the FM. This will download the internal table with headings.
Note - To download it as excel, pass FILETYPE as 'DAT'.
