How do i use youtube/safari without wifi
I know people LOVE the wifi option, and i do too....
HOWEVER
im running on a VERY slow internet connection at home, using "Basic" internet, which allows me to download at a max of 24kbps for torrents, and for when i download with firefox.
So, it takes about 20 minutes to stream a 5 minute youtube video over my laptop.
Now, the iPhone is 3g, meaning that it has much faster speeds then EDGE (edge is actually faster then my home internet connection sadly), and i would prefer to use the 3g network instead, as i have unlimited data.
Anyone know how?
If you are in a 3G network coverage area and you are connected to the 3G network - with 3G available in the status bar, when accessing any application that requires internet access, you are doing so via your carrier's 3G network.
If you are in range of an available wi-fi network that you have access to and you are in a 3G network area, turn off wi-fi access on your iPhone and your iPhone will be connected to the 3G network automatically.
If you aren't in a 3G network coverage area, you can't connect your iPhone to the 3G network. It will connect via EDGE or GPRS, whichever is available.

If you are just visiting Singapore, then leave the account as it is. If you have moved there, then view your account using the iTunes app on a Mac or PC and change the country/region to your current location and address. If you do not have a bank card, you can fund your account using iTunes gift cards if available in Singapore.

How can I use Office Update without the Office CD? On the microsoft website I've clicked the options which mean I shouldn't need the CD (which wasn't supplied with the laptop), but poartway through updating the service pack I get a request for the Office 2000 Professional CD.

Did you mean a Office or One Note?
As far as I know the One Note is a part of the Recovering Image and the CD is not delivered with the unit. Furthermore the Toshiba units are not delivered with the Office 2000 software.
Nevertheless, did you check the update function in the Help i.e. in Word?
There you will find a options called Check for Updates

The Maps app included in iOS, at least as of the current version, requires an Internet connection, so you'll need to get an app that allows you to download maps to be kept on the iPad. MotionX GPS Drive is one such app, but there are others available.

Well if you restore your iPad that might work. If its a software issue, it might solve it. If that doesn't work, it might be a hardware issue that apple can fix.

Using iTunes radio without wifi
if I have an unlimited data and Internet plan and used iTunes radio without wifi would I still be charged? Or is the disclosure for people with limited data plans?
After I did a hard reset I was able to see the radio. Now, a few moments later, the radio has dissapeared from my music all together. I just turned my phone off and back on again in hopes that it would reappear but it did not. I then tried to do another hard reboot butthat did not work either. I have lost it altogether.
